    How the left wing MSM lies by omission- a stark example 

    Here is how the national news service of the Australian Broadcasting Commission’s reported an event that occurred in Sydney yesterday-

    A man has been charged after he allegedly married a 15-year-old girl in Sydney’s south-west. Police said the man, who was 18 at the time, and the girl were wed in a private ceremony at a home in Lurnea in November last year.

    It is alleged the pair have lived together at a home in Yagoona in Sydney’s south-west for the past four months. Police searched the home and arrested the 19-year-old man today.He was charged with marrying a person not of marriageable age and was refused bail.He is due to appear at Bankstown Local Court today.

    Here is how the Daily Telegraph reported the incident.

    The 15-year-old reportedly believed she was pregnant to the 19-year-old, who is accused of beating her after their alleged Islamic wedding in Lurnea last year.

    There is much more, but you get the drift. The left wing media will not give you information when it is against their political interests for you to know.

      And that’s why I spend more time reading blogs these days than reading MSM. So many times I have been sitting watching the 6pm news (TV1 or TV3, doesn’t matter which) and said to my wife, but there’s a lot more to that story than what they are telling you there. I have an RSS feed to Stuff news items and I skip probably around 90% of the articles based on the leading blurb because it’s mostly infotainment and very little news. And the leftwing slant just makes you shake your head. But there is a real dearth of decent alternatives.

        Yes, its kind of weird that they don’t display a bit of management initiative and hire some right wing staff. After all, FOX News in the US should have shown them the business model.

        Its hard to believe they would let political ideology trump cash flow, but I guess the problem is the management are all left wing too, and therefore too dumb to do otherwise. If I was a shareholder though I would be saying something about it. Staff like Andrea Vance for example, so extremely left wing, are a major turn off to so many people. Yet they still keep her on.

    Potential Democrat Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton complained yesterday that “different media” are dividing the country, making it impossible for people to even have a conversation with each other.

    She criticized America’s “partisan bunkers” for getting in the way of confronting tough issues like racism, sexism and homophobia. Breitbart reports on Clinton’s comments from a TV interview-

    “Nobody wants to associate with anybody who doesn’t agree with them politically,” she said. “You can’t have a conversation, people won’t listen to each other, they listen to different media, and those different media (outlets) tell different stories about the very same thing that you’re watching unfold in front of your eyes.”

    The lack of common ground, Clinton asserted, was making it more difficult to get things done politically.

    That is the whole idea Hillary. The intent is to hinder you as much as possible in your intent to control speech and thought and enforce socialist tyranny and totalitarianism. Stop us if you can.

        Damn right. If it wasn’t for the left and their unceasing need to control, we wouldn’t need to keep fighting them.

        I have always said that is why the left have had so much success. The right don’t really have a plan to pursue freedom, they are in the main just reacting to the left’s never ending assault.

        We need to mount a counter offensive, where we wind back all of the left wing changes that have occurred and take away their power base.

    Submission to polling no way to do politics 

    I’m not impressed by the priority given to polling recently. Polling is not a positive in the political battle. Its merely a measure of what ideas the voters have digested. If they’re only getting ideas from one side of the political spectrum, then naturally polls will show these ideas as having the edge over other ideas.

    In this way, polling is a measure of how effective the political parties are at getting their message across. Hence the collapse of National as a party of the right and its conversion to a weak imitation of Labour. What polling has really demonstrated is John Key’s abysmal failure to get any kind of message out there that challenges left wing cultural hegemony.

    If any Nat party people are reading, here is the message- If you don’t recognise the liberal/ progressive media as the enemy, you can’t fight them. This largely progressive/ liberal/ LW media manipulates public opinion to large degree. If you doubt this, then name me more than a couple of truly Conservative voices in the industry that have the reach of liberals like Mike Hoskin or John Campbell or Guyon Espiner or Patrick Gower.

    The challenge is to get Conservative ideas out there in the face of this fairly overwhelming adversarial force. No one ever said this would be easy, but polling and adjusting and compromising to suit negative outcomes is the path to long term defeat.

    John Key has completely failed to rise to this challenge. The situation is exacerbated because he does not have the ideas even if he had the ability (like Thatcher or Reagan) to sell them. Key’s reliance on polling and his subsequent constant incremental surrender to the left has been the worst thing to happen to NZ’s political right in decades.

    The detached from reality situation that exists in a Wellington beltway consisting mainly of liberal media and a bunch of spineless politicians who are easily manipulated by said media does not exist in the rest of NZ. There are a large number of voters across the country just waiting to hear a message not tainted by or submissive to the ideas that are favoured in the beltway.

    NZ Voters can’t express opinions on ideas if the ideas are not being put out there.

    The National Party has to drop its subservience to polling and get out there and sell what they purportedly believe in. (see sidebar for National Party founding principles)

    Please read- ABC anti-Conservative bias is threatening Australian democracy 

    I urge all concerned with the political process in Australia and the rest of the West to read Andrew Bolt’s Herald Sun column today where he harshly criticises the ABC for their politically partisan reporting..

    Bolt hits out at the taxpayer funded organisation as a threat to democracy with its tribal LW / “progressive” mentality and its unceasing attempts to belittle and denigrate the LNP coalition government and Tony Abbot in particular.

    The anti-Conservative bias of the ABC is worth millions of dollars in election advertising if the Labour Party ever had to pay for it themselves.

    However the real and broader issue is this- across the west, cultural Marxists are capturing our public institutions and using them as political tools. In the UK we have the BBC. in the US we have PBR. In NZ we have RNZ. Its all part of a widepread left wing plan to drag the political debate left and benefit the parties of progressivism/ socialism.

    Democracy is finished if the left wing totalitarians subverting our public institutions are not stopped.

    UKIP Leader Nigel Farage Visits Eastleigh To Canvass With Candidate Diane James UKIP leader Nigel Farage is under constant attack from the “progressive” mainstream media who do all they can to smear him and destroy any potential vote base he may construct.

    It isn’t working as well as the left would like. I think too many people know today just how politically corrupt the MSM are and their attempts to smear Farage are frequently counter productive.

    A corrupt media is just the worse thing to happen to a nation. Those of us who know history understand the part the film industry and the mainstream media played in the rise of Adolf Hitler, one of the biggest and most murderous tyrants in modern times.

    The media onslaught against Farage demonstrates the same kind of corruption. BBC affiliated Channel 4 in the UK recently ran a program called “UKIP: The first 100 days” which presented a disgustingly dishonest version of what might happen if the UKIP gained govt.

    The program depicted rioting on the streets that would presumably happen if UKIP were to win the general election, mixing archive footage with imagined scenes. The show has prompted more than 700 complaints to media watchdog Ofcom since its broadcast on Monday night. There were another 250 complaints made to Channel 4.

    Speaking on LBC Radio, UKIP MEP and parliamentary candidate Gerald Batten called the docudrama “a piece of bile and vitriol from our political opponents”.

    “Political debate is one thing, and having a debate where people can put another point of view, or even a factual documentary about a political party. But this wasn’t that,” said Mr Batten.

    Channel 4 said the show was fully in compliance with the broadcasting code and its “obligations to be fair, accurate and duly impartial”.

    Nigel Farage says the feedback he has suggests the show has backfired, with many people pledging support to the party because of what they perceived as the unfairness of the attack.

    The corrupt MSM’s desperate attempts to preserve the status quo are despicable. Cowardly dishonest politically partisan swine who have no regard for the orderly process of democracy.

    I hope the UKIP gets up in the UK, and I hope this mainly because it will be one in the eye for the progressive UK mainstream media and their preferred equally hopeless twins Labour and The Conservatives.

      You might think of Nigel Farrage as some sort of prophet.

      But in reality, what he is talking about is blatantly obvious.

      He was absolutely right on the piigs Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain. I would also add France to that list.

      Nobody else wants to admit to what is happening, in the EU, or even talk about it.

      Statistically Greece is irrelevant, they should have never been in the Eurozone, as well as others, and they should just go bankrupt and move on.

      The problem is that they would just be the first domino, when the bigger Countries follow suit it gets really messy really fast.

      I love his speeches, especially when he called the unelected nobody at the top. The he had the appearance of a low grade bank clerk and the personality of a damp dish towel.

      Really who do you think you are.

      Planet Ponzie. Fortunately they are about 10-15 years further down this rather sad path than us, so we get to see the whole thing unravel in front of us. Not that you will see of the street riots and civil unrest on NZ television.

      It does not fit with the Government agenda to borrow and Tax, to paper over the crack, to maintain the illusion that every thing is fine just fine.

    Chilling and dreadful. I mean it. When I read this article I was chilled. It made me feel dread.

    England was the crucible of individual liberty. Who is responsible for making it the Orwellian society it is today?

    The story is about a disagreement between commuters on a train. A Eastern European women and a black man believed to be of Jamaican descent engaged in an argument, and the woman said the man’s perceived poor behaviour was partly because he was descended from slaves.

    This relatively mild event becomes a major story in many UK newspapers, who regard it as important because of the woman’s “slave” argument. I’m not concerned with that. So some woman not intimidated by the Progressive’s long standing campaign against freedom of expression spoke out. She may have said something bigoted, she may not have. Was it true, or was it untrue. It just doesn’t matter. Or it shouldn’t matter.

    Here is part of how the Independent newspaper reported on the incident, and these are the words that chilled me-

    A video of a woman who appears to tell a passenger that his ancestors “used to be slaves” during an argument on the London Underground is being investigated by police.

    It is not known when the incident exactly took place but the video is being investigated, the British Transport police said.

    A spokesman said: “Officers are currently analysing the video and are appealing for the person who recorded it to come forward.

    Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any other information, is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting reference T/B11 of 12/02/2015.

    So the woman is being vigorously denounced to the “authorities” for holding views others do not agree with, and forthrightly expressing those views. And the authorities are trying to track her down and requesting further denouncements from her fellow citizens and train travellers.

    How Orwellian is this? And let’s assume that the writer of the piece (Lamiat Sabin) has a University education and probably a degree. As the sub editor and editor of the paper probably has. Yet they all self righteously buy into this barbaric attack on freedom of expression, and the denouncement of the woman. So outraged at her confrontation of Orwellian speech codes they cannot observe their own savagery.

    What on earth did these people learn at university? It certainly wasn’t anything about the traditions that made England the leader of the free world. A position they held out of their reverence for the principles of individual liberty and freedom of expression.

    When one looks for the reason for the continuing steady decline of our civilisation its hard to escape the conclusion that the education system is one of the main drivers. If Lamiat Sabin and staff at the Independent newspaper are anything to go by, it is producing ignorant of history barbarians. They hold enormous power, and they are coming after anyone who dares to differ with them.

    Multi-culturalism in Sweden- Rapes increase by 1,472% 

    Forty years after the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the formerly homogenous Sweden into a multicultural country, violent crime has increased by 300% and rapes by 1,472%. Sweden is now number two on the list of rape countries, surpassed only by Lesotho in Southern Africa.

    Back in 1975, the year when politicians decided that Sweden was to become multicultural, the Swedish population stood at 8,208,442. By 2014 it had grown to 9,743,087. An increase of 18.7%. This growth is entirely due to immigration, as Swedish women on average give birth to 1.92 children compared to the 2.24 average of immigrant women. One should, however, keep in mind that in the statistics, second-generation immigrants are counted as Swedes.

    Sweden’s recent population growth is without parallel. Never before in the country’s history has the number of inhabitants increased so fast. Sweden is now the fastest growing country in Europe.

    Over the past 10-15 years, immigrants have mainly come from Muslim countries such as Iraq, Syria and Somalia.

    Twenty-one research reports from the 1960s until today are unanimous in their conclusions. Whether or not they measured by the number of convicted rapists or men suspected of rape, men of foreign extraction were represented far more than Swedes.

    • 1960-1970s – 1.2 to 2.6 times as often as Swedes
    • 1980s – 2.1 to 4.7 times as often as Swedes
    • 1990s – 2.1 to 8.1 times as often as Swedes
    • 2000s – 2.1 to 19.5 times as often as Swedes

    This month, all major Swedish media reported on a brutal gang rape on board the Finnish Ferry Amorella, running between Stockholm and Åbo in Finland. Big headlines told the readers that the perpetrators were Swedish:

    • “Several Swedish Men Suspected of Rape on the Finland Ferry” (Dagens Nyheter).
    • “Six Swedish Men Raped Woman in Cabin” (Aftonbladet).
    • “Six Swedes Arrested for Rape on Ferry” (Expressen).
    • “Eight Swedes Suspected of Rape on Ferry” (TT – the Swedish News Agency).

    On closer inspection, it turned out that seven of the eight suspects were Somalis and one was Iraqi. None of them had Swedish citizenship, so they were not even Swedish in that sense.

    The mainstream media are complicit in one of the most destructive frauds ever perpetrated against the West.

    Leftist whiners create false impression of wide support 

    ScreenShot007The left like to make up hit lists of commentators who oppose them and then find ways to get those people shut down. Over the last few years we’ve seen numerous complaint campaigns organised by left wingers targeted at station management or the advertisers who use radio shows or blogs the left don’t like.

    Two Radio Live talkback hosts were suspended after a complaints campaign. The Whaleoil blog has suffered the same kind of attacks. Not happy with either not listening to or not reading these outlets themselves, the left want to stop other people from accessing them as well. This is all done at the same time as they try and portray themselves as defenders of freedom of expression.

    In the US there is a campaign to shut down Rush Limbaugh. Its called StopRush, and the people behind it claim to be ordinary consumers unhappy with Limbaugh’s political views. They say that as a means of expressing their dissatisfaction, they wont shop at or use the services of advertisers on the Rush Limbaugh show.

    However Limbaugh and real journalist Sharyl Attkisson have done some detective work and discovered StopRush to be a complete fraud organised by the George Soros funded Media Matters group.

    A Limbaugh show spokesperson says-

    Only 10 Twitter users account for almost 70% of all StopRush tweets to advertisers, amplified by illicit software. In addition, almost every communication from a StopRush activist originates from outside the State of the advertiser. Thus, these activists are not and never would have been customers… their only role is to harass small businesses in an attempt to interfere with their operations, as long as they are advertising with Rush.

    So once again we see the innate dishonesty of the left and their typical ends justifies the means mentality. They’ll do anything to shut down opponents whose ideas damage their plans. One wonders just how genuine the protests were here in NZ and whether or not the complaints were inflated by similar trickery.

    Left's propaganda machine operates virtually unopposed 

    Leftist influence in journalism classes at western universities has given us a media that is left wing. This legion of students trained not in how to think but in what to think has resulted in our media being of a permanent left wing mindset without they themselves even knowing they are left wing. Their writing is littered with Marxist phrases and concepts they do not even recognise as such.

    So I acknowledge the LW slant of the MSM makes it difficult for the perceived right to combat the left’s main strategy, their propaganda. But surely this does not mean we should give up. Not try to bring truth to the debate.

    Sending out pollsters to check the mood of the people when you’ve already surrendered in the battle of ideas is just self defeating. Its the policy that John Key has followed and its why today’s National Party is the Labour party of a decade or so ago.

    Of course those surveyed are going to be more positive about left wing ideas when they’re the only ideas out there. The perceived right really needs to develop a strategy to deal with the left’s propaganda and put their own ideas into the market place. Sure, its difficult, but if you don’t fight you lose, which is why today in NZ we have a Labour Party in govt calling itself the National Party.

    Take for example one of the left’s most successful propaganda strategies, which is inserting the concept of “the children” into as many political debates as they can.

    Meals in schools was pushed through because it was sold as showing care for children. Its really not about that at all. That was just the propaganda. Its about growing the state through teaching school kids and their parents dependency on government. Yet the right had no answer to the left’s propaganda and they yielded to it. Probably because that’s what the polls told them to do.

    In Australia today the left are using “the children” to help them win the debate on illegal immigration. One of their leaders who of course occupies a position within one of our public institutions (Human Rights Commission) was caught out by writing about this strategy.

    The Human Rights Commission’s report into child detention was engineered as an “advocacy tool” for policy change and focused­ on children for political effect, internal documents ­reveal. Here is some of the relative text, taken from a draft project plan-

    The underlying assumption of this project (and our broader work in this area) is that faced with enough domestic and international criticism and pressure regarding its practices relating to children in immigration detention, the Australian government will reform those practices.”

    “Focusing on children allows the best opportunity to engage the general public, and to reach bipart­isan political agreement on making policy and legal changes to the system of mandatory and indefin­ite detention,”

    Another blatant example of this strategy is the left’s current focus on “Child” poverty. Key doesn’t counter this ploy with ideas, he merely runs polls that show him the left’s propaganda is working, so he adjusts policy in response. Gutless submission.

    The right badly need to develop a counter to the left’s propaganda machine, which has been allowed to operate virtually unchallenged for some decades. Polling on what the electorate think when they’ve not been given any alternative ideas is fruitless supplication.

    Of course if the party that professes to stand against the left is too intellectually crippled to actually come up with any counter ideas, then you’ve got a real problem.

    Did Jon Stewart quit because he didn’t want to carry water for failing Democrats any longer? 

    Rush Limbaugh takes a guess at the reasons behind Jon Stewart’s sudden decision to quit the Daily Show.

    Limbaugh thinks Stewart is tired of carrying water for a party that is pushing an agenda that most Americans do not want, and that things would get worse with Hillary Clinton running for President. Maybe Stewart has come to a sudden understanding that he’s been backing the wrong horse for too long.

    Limbaugh said-

    “Stewart has helped to polarize the country by poisoning the Republican brand” but noted that, “aside from what you think you’ve done to destroy conservatives, where is there anything to brag about?”

    “Unless you actually believe this country needs to be torn apart and transformed. Unless you actually hate capitalism and you think that there have been great inroads made in destroying it, maybe, but that’s not something you could run around brag about because you’re in the minority. Most people do not want the country destroyed. Most people don’t want capitalism destroyed. Most people think capitalism is where the American dream lives. So you can’t run around and brag about that so what are you gonna brag about?”

    Gina Rinehart settles with Channel Nine- show will go ahead 

    Gina RinehartI saw Part one of the Channel Nine smear of the Rinehart family “House of Hancock” a week or so ago. Remember how they made a film about Nancy Reagan and had the disgusting extreme left traitor Jane Fonda play the lead role?

    Nine Entertainment Company cast notorious left winger Sam Neil as patriarch Lang Hancock. Just like Fonda playing Nancy Reagan, it just does not work, and the script is so weak and predictable that even if they’d hired someone with talent he wouldn’t have been able to do much better.

    This is just the usual LW Hollywood junk even though its made in Australia, and has the same old same old predictable meme, a very rich and hateful and selfish family motivated by greed driven into conflict over the spoils of the family fortune. It smears the Rinehart family in so many untrue ways it can never be anything but trash made by low life cowards. (producers Nick Murray and Michael Cordell among others.)

    Gina Rinehart took Channel Nine to court after the first episode. She sought a preview of the second episode and said if it was bad enough would be seeking an injunction to stop its showing. This has now been resolved.

    Confidential terms of agreement were negotiated outside court during a rare sitting of the Supreme Court on Saturday with the conclusion the show will be screened with undisclosed changes and with a disclaimer using the word “fictionalised”.

    Shortly after 2pm the parties announced to the court they had a deal with both agreeing to pay their own respective costs.

    It’s not expected to be the end of the legal dispute, however. Gina might still pursue damages for defamation and serious falsehood.

    I hope she does. Go for it Gina, get after those liberal entertainment sector liars. Like all Progressives, they just have to take down anyone who has made a fortune from nothing by enterprise, risk, hard work, wise investment and good management. And maybe a little luck the day your father Lang got caught in a storm and was forced to fly his plane down that particular valley.

    Jon Stewart – influencing a generation with pathetic liberal BS 

    Jon Stewart 23 year old Natasha McKenzie, President of College Democrats of America, mourns the demise of Jon Stewart “I was somewhat heartbroken. My entire newsfeed was full of statuses and tweets about his departure, and a lot of people were shocked.”

    Amy Mitchell of the Pew Research Center said about Stewart’s audience breakdown: “More than 70 percent have political views that align with the liberal side of the spectrum. Only 7 percent have views that align with the conservative.”

    The Today Show claims to be a “fake news” show that satirizes what’s wrong with news. It could be that, but it isn’t. It is everything that is wrong about today’s snarky liberal media elite.

    Stewart and his producers create taped interview segments full of unethical cutting designed to provoke laughter in their gormless fawning shallow followers. There is no attempt at fairness or accuracy. Producers lie without a skerrick of remorse. The things they think are funny are predicated on concepts that are infantile and wrong. Often these attempts at humour are nothing more than cowardly smears. The audience laps it up in their single political dimension ignorance.

    The irony is the liberal legend of Jon Stewart began with his October 15, 2004 appearance on CNN’s “Crossfire,” where he rhetorically sentenced that show to death. He proclaimed, “It’s hurting America. Here is what I wanted to tell you guys: Stop! You have a responsibility to the public discourse, and you fail miserably.”

    CNN announced it was canceling the show two months later, as network president president Jon Klein told the New York Times “I agree wholeheartedly with Jon Stewart’s overall premise.”

    As is so typical of liberals/ progressives who preach one thing while doing its opposite. Comedy Central has never felt any responsibility to “the public discourse.” If we applied Jon Klein’s standard, it would be time for “The Daily Show” to be canceled. Maybe it will be now that the smirking coward Stewart has resigned. Good riddance.

    CNN journalist argues rights come from “collective agreement” 

    In a argumentative 25-minute interview with Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore on Thursday, CNN “New Day” co-host Chris Cuomo discussed Moore’s refusal to adhere to a federal judge’s ruling on same-sex marriages.

    Cuomo and Moore disagreed on whether or not the federal court decision was binding to the point that it required the state of Alabama to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. But they also continued the argument to the point of where certain rights originate, to which Cuomo argued they came from man and law, and not from God.

    CUOMO: Our rights do not come from God. That’s your faith. That’s my faith, but not our country. Our laws come from the collective agreement and compromise.

    MOORE: It’s not a matter of faith, sir. It’s a matter of organic law, which states, ‘We hold these truths to be held equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.’ And the only role of government is stated in the next sentence is to secure those rights for us. The government starts taking those rights away from us, then it’s not securing and it is defiling the whole purpose of government.

    On his Thursday radio show, conservative talker Mark Levin challenged that Cuomo’s and said his interpretation is the definition of tyranny.

    “The idea that we get our rights – our fundamental human rights from government or any collection of our citizens is the definition of tyranny, is the definition of totalitarianism,” Levin explained. “That’s not where we get our rights from. They come from a higher authority. And those of you who do not believe in a God, aren’t sure you believe in a God – believe whatever you want or don’t believe whatever you want … you cannot have a republic if you have no civil society. You cannot have a republic if you believe rights come from man. Justice Moore was correct. Chris Cuomo was not. And yet, Chris Cuomo speaks for millions and millions of people who have no idea what their country stands for or why they’re free.”

    As usual, Levin nutshells it. Due to cultural collapse, millions of people in the US do not know why they live in one of the most free countries on earth, and that is a tragedy. Especially when that freedom is slipping away faster every day.

    Kiwiblog embraces anti-Abbot MSM meme on use of word “holocaust” 

    To be fair, Mr. Farrar did split his post into two parts. The first part praised Abbot, the second criticised him.

    Except that the second part merely repeated a partisan meme broadcast by a biased Australian media, and if you doubt this, please allow me to bring a few things to your notice-

    Labor Prime Minister Paul] Keating said “the Rudd government deserved to be re-elected on its reaction to the global recession alone, saving Australia from an ”economic holocaust” that had massively crunched the US and UK”.

    “It is an environmental holocaust, no different to the Sumatran clearfelling and burning which so appalled (climate change economist) Sir Nicholas Stern a fortnight ago,” Senator Bob Brown of the Greens Party said in a statement.

    “..the strength of the Australian economy has shown in the face of the Asian economic holocaust has been absolutely remarkable” said John Howard.

    “These clean technology companies have the ability to offset the kind of holocaust that we are driving our economy, our society and our environment towards” said Greens Senator Scott Ludlum

    Australia’s media had no problem with any of these quotes. The real problem is the implacable hatred so many of them have for Tony Abbott. 75% of Fairfax journalists for example admitted they voted Labor or Greens.

    Andrew Bolt, where I sourced the above quotes, has asked that all Conservatives fight back on Tony Abbot’s behalf. The problem is of course that Mr. Farrar is no Conservative and is frequently as hostile to that political sector as the far left.

    Let’s not forget that only prior to last election, John Key was happy to describe his government as “Progressive”.

    Brian Williams fiddling expenses as well? 

    If you’re a cynic like me you’re probably not surprised to hear that Brian Williams, the face of NBC for decades, was a psychopathic liar who manufactured the news to suit his desperate liberal psychosis. Media these days just seems to be a dumping ground for deranged Progressives with their minds on some other plane, and we are ever so grateful for the few reporters and journalists out there still trying to do their job and bring some repute back to the industry.

    I suggested earlier that the first lie wouldn’t be the last, and it sounds like I was pretty much right. There is going to be a lot more revealed about this pathetic liberal loser as time goes by.

    However it might get even worse than chronic lying. The New York Magazine reports that NBC has expanded its probe into William’s dishonesty to include his expense accounts.

    Another source told me today that NBC has widened their probe to include Williams’s expense accounts.

    Brian Williams gone, now for his bosses Obama and Hillary 

    Brian Williams is a liberal/ progressive, and he has brought the MSM into further disrepute, if such a thing was ever possible. NBC should have fired him for good instead of issuing a 6 months suspension, but that’s the LW MSM for you. No real shame, its all about appearances.

    Williams is a non-entity really, however even by just reading from cue cards he had the power of influence. And that influence encouraged people to vote for a couple of other liars who do have power, and are of much greater consequence than Williams- Hillary Clinton, whom the left want as next POTUS, and Barack Obama, who thanks to liberal/ progressive support, is current POTUS.

    Both of these people are psychotic liars every bit as bad as Brian Williams.

    Hillary Clinton is documented to have made it up about dodging sniper fire landing in a war zone in Bosnia. She claims that she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, when she was born long before Sir Edmund was ever heard of. She told lies about her daughter Chelsea’s near miss on the day of the WTC attack. She lied about a video being the reason for the attack on the US Benghazi embassy. She was fired from her job with the Watergate Investigation for lying and unethical behaviour.

    Obama, whether he was born in Kenya or not, lied about his birthplace. Either he lied when he said he was born there, or he lied when he said he was born in Hawaii. He claimed his mother died because she couldn’t get cancer treatment. He lied when he said you “could keep your current health plan”. He lied about his relationships with various communist, subversives and revolutionaries. I could go on for ever on this but for the curious, Obama’s lies are all listed here.

    The real point to all of this though is that William’s fail on truth is just one more nail in the coffin of the delusional reality that the liberals/ progressives have constructed over the least few decades. Its a Potemkin village, a house of cards that is soon going to completely collapse.

    We can bring this about if we just keep fighting on the ground, by bypassing the lying MSM and working through social media like Twitter or blogs. Williams was a watchtower guard and now he is nothing. The corrupt and delusional edifice the left have built can be broken down and destroyed, just like the Berlin wall once was.

    Update- Its just been confirmed that Jon Stewart is leaving his Daily Show “later in the year” too. They’re going down like dominoes.

    Farrar wrong on Key/ Sabin issue 

    I’ve blogged on this before, so was surprised to read David Farrar’s claim in his most recent posting on the Sabin issue. Mr Farrar says this-

    It’s pretty simple. If the Prime Minister had known Sabin was under Police investigation in October when select committee chairs were decided, then there is no way you would have appointed him Chair of Law & Order. You’d have to be a moron to do so.

    It’s what I once thought too. However I was astounded to read a quote from John Key in a NZ Herald article which is if true a complete rebuttal of this argument.

    John Key to Radio NZ. Morning of 28th of January 2015.

    “As I speak to you today, I’m very happy for him (Sabin) to continue in the position he does.”

    This is long after Key knew what was going on with Sabin, and proves that even if he had known the story previously, he would not have changed course. So Mr Farrar’s argument is by means of this quote from John Key himself completely nullified.

    Then of course there is the claim that Police told the necessary Govt Ministers of the investigation prior to the election, but did not name Sabin until November. This if true means that every Nat MP was under suspicion for all of these months. This is just manifest nonsense. John Key’s spin doctors must think we’re complete idiots to believe something so completely unlikely.

    Whale Oil on the skids financially? 

    One normally doesn’t speculate too wildly about things such as a commercial entity’s financial condition. It has a tendency to be self prophesying. However the Whale Oil Blog has speculated plenty on the financial condition of others. There have been a number of indications lately to the effect that things are getting a bit tight and this is confirmed in a post today from “Moderator” Pete Belt.

    December and January have been lean, and the buffer we had built last year has been used up. ….the truth is that were (sic) tight last month, and things are now close to becoming a problem. …to be blunt, there is a serious cashflow problem now.

    Slater’s management of money hasn’t demonstrated he is any kind of financial wizard. His security company allegedly went broke, and he was then on an insurance company funded benefit for five years until the company withdrew claiming Slater did not qualify.

    Then he conducted an inexplicable personal vendetta against Matthew Bloomfield which has seen him in court for breaching privacy.

    It doesn’t cost a lot to run a blog unless you’re employing people, and apparently Pete Belt is a bit of a drain on resources. Frankly I don’t know why Slater employs this buffoon, who claims credit for raising the hit count at the site, but I think it only increased because of outside factors like election fever and a few scandals Whale Oil broke and/or the Hager “Dirty Politics” book.

    I’ve called Pete Belt a lying coward before for his completely false claims that I upvoted my own comments on his site. Comments that were generally opposing Slater’s pro- same sex marriage stance. I think these comments received support because the opposition to same sex marriage was far greater than the political classes (including Slater) wanted to acknowledge.

    Whatever, the smears that Pete Belt initiated against me right across the NZ internet were the work of a cowardly liar, and I shall never forgive him for those lies. If Whale Oil is indeed feeling the pinch the first thing I would do is fire Belt and ask for volunteers to run the site. Assuming Slater is too busy with various legal matters to do it himself.

    And while we’re talking about it, what’s happened to Whale Oil’s promise to spill the dirt on who was really behind the Hagar book, and what’s happening with Freed. Things seem to have gone ominously quiet on both these issues.

        I think there needs to be a loud voice opposing the MSM. WO seemed to be going OK at it until PB got involved. Poster Travis recently quit the site ostensibly because of dissatisfaction with its management. I’d be sorry to see WO go down but ultimately, where does the responsibility for any such collapse lie?

      Was a supporter of Whaleoil right up until my comments started disappearing. Then when I complained, just dumped no explanation no nothing just banned.

      Then I found out that many of the posts were paid by vested interests and Whale oil, who by his own public admission was a dirty disgusting person, did not acknowledging that it was paid content.

      He lost the plot when he started drinking his own coolaid.

      Pete and Travis were both a waste of space.

      It does not cost that much to run a simple blog I suspect that the snouts are at the trough. Post dirty tricks the revenue has probably dried up.

        Well its also his allegiance to the National Party that he frequently denies, but the truth is he suppressed stories prior to the election that he thought might damage National’s vote. He admitted it. Then you have the payola situation. Stories with a view that is slanted to support whoever paid for them.

        So you don’t know if what you’re reading there is filtered by these two considerations or not. Its not reliable, and if you take anything on board from Whaleoil, you may be being played for a fool.
