Progressives and the Futility of Persuasion

Conservative-Liberal+TrendI recently received an email from another anti-progressive warrior where he congratulated me on what he perceived as my more tempered approach to the battle.

Sorry Chuck, if I’ve become more moderate, it isn’t by design.

You see I have never really had any wish to convert or persuade progressives to join our forces. You can’t do that, because progressives are generally suffering from a mindset that cannot be altered by reason. Bring them into our ranks and they will spend more bullets firing upon us than on our adversaries.

In the US now we have a classic political battle between the Tea Party and the RINO Republicans that have destroyed the Republican Party. Karl Rove is at last feeling heat. The Bushes are under siege. The Republican establishment, completely infiltrated by RINOs and progressives, is fighting for its political life.

Sensing the rising threat, fake Conservatives are coming out of the woodwork and are posturing and preaching and desperately trying to shore up support for actions and ideas that have for decades now under-mined Conservatism, and destroyed our civil society. These ideas, in a gross perversion of their mission statement, have been pushed by the Republican Party in the US and The National Party in New Zealand and the Conservative Party in the UK.

Battling Rove and the other fake Conservatives (like for example Jon Huntsman or David Frum) are a new breed of upcoming politicians promoted by the Tea Party and dedicated to restoring Constitutional Government and our civil society. These new politicians are not wasting time trying to appease Rove or other betrayers. They are bent on replacing them.

The strategy is clear. First, the enemy has to be identified and their territory marked out, and then that territory has to be invaded and the betrayers have to be DEFEATED.

My advice is this- don’t waste time trying to appease and persuade such an entrenched enemy as the progressives are. Here in the NZ blogosphere, you will never persuade committed progressives like Whale and Farrar and so many others to change their minds. You’ll never sway John Key, a dedicated progressive and surrounded and advised by a dimwitted gang of ultra-liberal believers sourced of all places from NZ’s corrupt and dying mainstream media sector.

They must be defeated. Persuasion is just not an effective option. Progressives must be displaced from their places of influence. Like Conservatives are supporting Ted Cruze and other Constitutionalists in the US, and trying to vote them into places of influence in the Republican party, at the expense of the treacherous old guard, so must progressives be replaced here in NZ.

I am sorry I can’t update this site more regularly. When I was blogging constantly, I was always surprised at the growing support I enjoyed. This told me that the forces for Conservatism are out there and they are far far greater in number than many people realise. We will defeat the Progressives, and defeating them is the only strategy that will work.

There are many more blogs out there today advocating for new wave Conservatism. My good and always courageous friend Crusader Rabbit is still battling on. As are my old friends at NZ Conservative, a site they started after an argument to protect my freedom of expression on another blog they once shared ownership of. Trevor Louden still fights the good fight. These guys are the true heroes.

More recently we have Terry Wallbank’s The Conservative, and John Stringer’s CoNZervative, both great sites offering badly needed relief from the progressive echo chambers that are Kiwiblog and Whaleoil (for the most prominent examples).

There are links to all of these sites in my side bar.

Go there and support these guys for every day of every week they have an interesting and fresh set of views that represent the Conservative alternative. They’re trying hard to bring our country back from the abyss of liberalism and they deserve our support.

Remember this- we are not always going to agree on all things all the time, so that is something we should not worry too much about. However, we all know WHO THE ENEMY IS. Adolf Hitler was never going to be persuaded. Neither was Joe Stalin. Neither is Fidel Castro. Neither is Barack Obama. Neither is Louisa Wall. Neither is David Cameron. Neither is Andrew Cuomo. Neither is Michael Bloomberg. Neither is John Key. Neither is Cameron Slater. Neither is Julia Gillard. Neither is David Farrar. Persuasion is a waste of time, progressives must be defeated.

Opinion Polls- Hitler, Mussolini and Caligula Would All Have Been So Popular

Liberals these days seems obsessed with promoting social change and supporting these changes not by facts and logic but by pointing to popular support as the reason why the subject ideas should have further popular support. Apparently this is a logic circle that completely escapes them.

Kiwiblog and Whaleoil for example are two blogs who want to keep certain social issues in the public eye, and frequently do this by highlighting polls that ostensibly show support for whatever the proposition might be.

Kiwiblog has run a number of articles this week where the main point has been polling results that favour the blogger’s liberal viewpoints.

Let’s leave aside for the moment, the utterly phony and banal questions that underpin these polls. Let’s just think about whether the fact that an idea might have popular support is a good reason to further support that idea.

Questions can only be answered effectively if the respondent is informed on the issue. Let’s for example take an extremely simple illustration. If you asked a collection of five year olds if eating ice cream three times a day was a good idea, they would say yes. Because all they know is that ice cream tastes so good. They don’t know that there are serious side affects to loading up with sugar and dairy products.

Later on in life they will answer the question differently because by then, more responsible adults will have passed on information to them, and the youngsters have processed that information and therefore developed a different view to when they were five.

But here is the rub. If no one had given them this information, they’d probably still vote for ice cream.

The Nazi party rose to power because Joeseph Goebbels was very well skilled in propaganda techniques. Adolf and his Brownshirts were extremely popular in Germany in the 1930s. Apart from a few recalcitrants like Sophie Scholl, (executed for delivering anti-Nazi pamphlets) the people loved them. Movies, newspapers and radio fawned over these jack booted totalitarian goons.

So we have a whole citizenry seduced by a ruling class whose main talent is lying about who they are and where they are going. By the mid 1940′s the truth of the Nazi party was brought home to the German people and nowadays there is no tolerance for Nazism at all in that country.

If we go back a lot further we can identify Rome as another great country that was brought to its knees by leaders who seduced the people with ideas that were plainly wrong.

You can include Italy and fascism in this argument too if you choose. Mussolini was once wildly popular, with newspapers, and magazines and radio gushing over him and his ideas.

So in all of these cases we have citizens cheering for ideas that eventually brought them terrible misery. They cheered only because they were ignorant, and they were ignorant for no one had told them the truth. The ruling class had refused to allow any other opinion other than that which was fashionable, and they had lied about their ideas anyway. So the citizens had no true understanding of what they were cheering for, and if they would have been fully informed, they would have been horrified by that truth.

So we have clear historical indicators demonstrating that the popularity of an idea is not any test of whether an idea is good if the population is not fully informed on any issue.

Just as in Italy and in Germany in the 1930s and 40s, the fascists and Nazis controlled information, so today in NZ we have the liberals/ progressives who similarly have very tight control of the information going to the people. So the polls are worthless, not only because of their one dimensional questions and the leading nature of those questions, (the misnomer “marriage equality” for example) but because in general the population is completely uninformed regarding any viewpoint that might counter liberal progressive doctrine.

So if the polls are worthless, so are the conclusions that they drive. Hitler, the Nazis, Mussolini, Fascism, Caligula, social liberalism, were all once high in the polls but these mendacious leaders and their wrong ideas eventually brought ruin upon the people who worshiped them. Popularity is no measure of whether an idea is good or not, and when Whaleoil and Kiwiblog run these worthless polls, they are only doing the same propaganda as Joseph Goebbels and other henchmen of other lying leadership cliques.

I’ll finish off with the disgusting report on Grace Carroll’s treatment in front of the Select Committee on homosexuals redefining marriage. Grace is a brave and beautiful young girl who has been bullied by cowards and who wasted her time and her honesty and her courage appearing in front of what is obviously a kangaroo court and a farce and a disgraceful exercise in political duplicity. Just another adventure in propaganda and another example of political leadership lying en masse to the people.

Where are the honest politicians who will call this fraud out for the disgraceful confidence trick it is upon NZ citizens? Is every politician in the house a coward and a liar? Are we today in New Zealand going through a similar process as experienced by the Germans and Italians in the 1930s?

One could be forgiven for thinking so.

Five Steps To Defeat The Democrats

Obama won a second term. He did it by deceit and fraud. The US elections have been corrupted almost beyond recovery by the left. It’s clear what has to be done to save the US republic. The question is, who is going to do it and how? Here are five simple steps to ensuring that the Democrats in their present form never win another election-

1) Introduce a poll tax. Nearly 50% of Americans, mainly Obama voters, pay no tax. Therefore there is nothing to stop them from voting for higher taxes, because it doesn’t affect them if taxes are raised. They see each election as Christmas, and Obama as Santa Claus. The left must be stopped from using your money to buy the votes of the lazy and stupid. Nearly 50% of Americans Don’t Pay Tax.

2) Switch off on all left wing propaganda outlets. That means most mainstream TV and newspapers. These are the organs that the left use most of all to corrupt democracy and rig elections. Any Conservative who supports these organs of leftist propaganda is only helping the left enslave them. Leftmedia corrupts our culture deeply and it must be put out of business. Don’t buy their newspapers, don’t watch their TV. Don’t give them a cent of your money. See how Republican failure to confront media bias helped them lose the election.

3) (Elect politicians who will) dismantle the public education system. It is a left wing stealth organisation designed not to educate but to brainwash. Youth travelling through this system have little hope of emerging from it with an objective political perspective. It’s sole purpose is to produce gullible stupid and brainwashed left wing voters. If you want a true appreciation of how bad this problem is read Jason Mattera’s book “Obama Zombies- How the Liberal Machine Brainwashed My Generation.“

4) Stop illegal immigration and send all illegal immigrants back to where they came from. Illegal immigrants use vote fraud to vote themselves entitlements and to undermine politicians who seek to shore up the barriers to illegal entry. Illegal Immigrants Accused of Vote Fraud.

5) Enforce voter identification and overhaul the voting system so as to eliminate fraud. Duplicate voting, using the ballots of dead voters, and fraudulent identities are all examples of the corrupt means the left use to swing the vote. The Left’s National Vote Fraud Strategy Exposed.

If we could ever implement the above five steps, the left in the USA (and other places) would never win another election.

Its not a question of Conservative values being outdated. There is no reason to give up on the principles of Conservatism, which are still the only existing rock solid defence against tyranny.

The problem is systematic vote fraud and widespread and endemic corruption of the electoral process by the left, and until we confront and deal with that issue, everything else is just a sideshow.

This election year, so much of the broadcast networks, their cable counterparts, and the major establishment print media are out of control with a deliberate and unmistakable leftist agenda. To put it bluntly: you are rigging this election and taking sides in order to pre-determine the outcome.

In the quarter century since the Media Research Center was established to document liberal media bias, there has never been a more brazen and complete attempt by the liberal so-called “news” media to decide the outcome of an election.

A free and balanced media are crucial to the health of this country. It is your duty as journalists – as outlined in the Society of Professional Journalists’ Code of Ethics – to “distinguish between advocacy and news reporting,” while simultaneously “seeking truth and providing a fair and comprehensive account of events and issues.”

There is a reason why the media are viewed with such disdain by the American public, as evidenced by every recent poll on the issue.

You have breached the public trust by willfully turning a blind eye to the government’s public policy failures, both domestic and foreign, while openly and shamefully smearing Gov. Mitt Romney. You are:

• Painting conservative ideas as extreme, while refusing to report the disastrous consequences of liberal programs enacted since 2008.

• Submerging the truly horrendous economic conditions America is facing and focusing only on minor political issues.

• Characterizing conservatives as cruel budget “slashers” instead of responsible officials trying to avoid a debt catastrophe.

• Focusing on alleged shortcomings in Romney’s business record instead of Obama’s record as the chief executive, whose policies contributed to a failed economy.

• Deliberately covering up embarrassing government failures and scandals, including the Solyndra debacle, Fast & Furious, and national security leaks which have put American lives in jeopardy.

• Pouncing on real and perceived missteps by conservatives, portraying them as bumbling incompetents, while suppressing embarrassing and incendiary remarks made by Vice President Joe Biden to prevent him from becoming a liability.

• Portraying conservative opposition to tax hikes as an impediment to deficit reduction while failing to highlight how liberal tax increase policies will cause massive damage to the economy and cause the deficit to explode.

• “Fact-checking” conservatives in order to discredit their arguments while regularly refusing to “fact-check” liberals who are distorting the truth.

We the undersigned – representing millions of Americans from our respective organizations – are now publicly urging our members to seek out alternative sources of political news in order to make an intelligent, well-informed decision on November 6.

It is time the American people turn you who are offending off, once and for all. You have betrayed their trust.

NZ Herald To Go Behind Paywall

News item-

New Zealand Herald editor Shayne Currie, told ATV3 television on Saturday, “We can’t go on the way we are at the moment.”

He said there had to be some monetisation of the internet to fund journalism, and the New York Times model probably worked the best of all.

That model allows readers to get a small number of stories free before they must pay to access more, but gives free access to print subscribers.

“I see it (a paywall) as inevitable,” Mr Currie said.

I just cannot believe that the owners of the Herald are so out of touch with public opinion that they believe the paywall model will work.

Are Mr Currie and his management team really that ignorant of the widespread contempt that exists for the mainstream media?

Do they not know just how fed up they public are with a diet of lies and distortions and exaggerations and deliberate omissions all designed to progress the Progressive/ Liberal agenda?

Do they not know that most reporters working in mainstream media today are widely reviled as liars and political agents who seek to avoid their traditional role of providing objective news and instead shade and shape and massage and adjust every story out there so that it furthers the liberal social political plan??

This gang of crooks and liars and phoneys and cheats now expect me to pay for the privilege of having my intelligence abused by such a collection of miscreants.?????

Those fresh from uni half educated well indoctrinated watermelon worshipping tyros, or the braindead extreme left Marxist propagandists from previous generations have nothing for me, and I have nothing for them but utter contempt, derision and mistrust.

Good luck with your paywall scumbags. But I will tell you right now, it won’t stop the collapse of the media industry.

What will?

A return to traditional objective reporting and a balanced opinion section.

However, with such out of touch management so obsessively dedicated to the pursuance of the liberal political agenda there’s Buckley’s chance of that.

Frankly, I just can’t wait for them to go down. The sooner the better, and the paywall will do a lot to hasten their demise. So get on with it you dinosauric liberal losers. Put up the paywall.

Louis Crimp- What Redbaiter Would Have Said To Jane Luskin

Jane Luskin was the craven cultural Marxist who interrogated NZ citizen Louis Crimp on TV3 concerning his recent attempts to criticise the “Maorification of NZ by the revolving door Labour and National governments.

Crimp is not all that articulate, or though if you listen hard, amongst all the prejudicial cutting of the interview by the Progressive propagandists who call themselves reporters and run that dirty little viper’s nest of Marxists called the TV3 newsroom, he doesn’t do too bad.

In the entirely fantastic event that I would have been interviewed by the nauseatingly wet liberal Luskin, here’s how I would have responded to her lame and predictable remarks and questions-

Luskin- (speaking of the haka and the Maori World Cup opening Ceremony)

“(it’s) Highly symbolic of something that generates a lot of pride among NZers.

You only need to look at the response to the rugby world cup and the opening ceremony and say that it got praise from around the world including Kiwis living overseas, you sorta can’t argue with that.”

Redbaiter-

“Well you can argue with that and I will if that’s OK you horrible little fascist anti-free speech PC Marxist. Even if I agree with the premise of your question (which I don’t) since when was this a country where it is forbidden to hold unfashionable viewpoints?

You have no evidence to support your claim that the ceremony was supported by the majority of NZers. Why don’t you hold a referendum on your program and test that assertion?”

Crimp then went on to say that even though Maori were only 15% of the general population, they made up 52% of the jail population.

Luskin-

“Don’t you have to look at the causes behind that?”

Redbaiter-

“The causes are obvious to anyone who is not a PC liberal like you Jane, and they’re that Maori commit an inordinate amount of crime compared to the rest of the NZ population. Why are you so anxious to conceal that truth?”

They then discussed government funding of the development of Maori language, with Crimp objecting to the amount of money being spent on this project. This really upset Luskin-

“Its an offical language of NZ. But it was the first language spoken in NZ so why would you object? The original inhabitants weren’t the British.”

Redbaiter-

“I don’t care a damn if its official, or was proclaimed to be so by some gutless pandering politician somewhere. If I don’t approve of taxpayer money being spent on this damn farce I will say so and I don’t care a jot that its an offical language or not, given I don’t agree with that proclamation anyway.

Furthermore the language that is being pushed today as “Maori” was not necessarily the “first language spoken in NZ”. There is no way you can know if that is true. Given the uncertainty over previous settlements, the first language spoken in NZ could have been any language. Another thing- the language spoken back then probably bears little resemblance to what “Maori” claim as their language today.

So what if the first inhabitants were not the British, English is the world language and the language of commerce, and if there is any money to be spent on teaching people a language it should be spent on English given that standards are so atrocious in schools today.”

Crimp said (in response to Luskins statement concerning the British being the first inhabitants) that at the time, “there were only a few savages around”.

Luskin-

“Is that how you see people now as savages?”

Redbaiter-

“That’s not what I said. Please do not try and put words in my mouth. I said they were savages then, and this is a claim born out by many reports of cannibalism and tribal conflict from those days. It comes back to the core of my original objection. Why highlight and use a ritual that harks back to those savage days to open the Rugby World Cup?”

Luskin-

“Do you understand why some people find this extremely offensive?”

Redbaiter-

“I’m not the least bit worried about “offending” people. I speak what I believe to be the truth and if some are offended by that then too bad. It is better that people are encouraged to speak truth rather than hide it because somebody somewhere may be “offended”. This is a policy that would lead to a country being awash in lies, just as NZ is today.

Now get out of my face you disgusting pandering Marxist sycophant.”

BTW, what did Luskin say to Crimp that prompted him to ask the question about sex against a tree? I notice this did not make the air. C’mon Jane, tell us what you said.

Louis Crimp Speaks Out- Liberals Scuttle For Cover

Crabs do a lot of scuttling. If you’ve ever walked around some rocky shore and happened on a group of them basking in the sun, I’m sure you will have noticed the sudden rattle of shell on rock as they all simultaneously dart furtively back into the crevices they crawled out of.

The white liberals and Marxists who infest the National Party (and ACT, but who cares right?) remind me of those crabs, as they scuttle in fright from the words of Louis Crimp, a refreshingly un-PC New Zealander who spoke out in plain language this weekend on what some call the “Maorification” of NZ.

Plain language is something that is starkly absent from today’s political dialogue, because it frightens the excrement out of the left. Rather we must, if we want to speak that way, glance about to see who is in earshot, lower our voices, and talk in guarded tones, in case a PC Police volunteer is nearby.

Not so Mr. Crimp, who spoke out plainly and loudly and bravely and had his words printed in that cowardly scumbag newspaper the NZ Herald, in an article written by a Communist greaser and political activist who poses as a journalist and has conducted a campaign against the hapless ACT party for some time.

So then we have the reactions of the so called right wing blogs- No Minister, Whale Oil Beef Hooked and Kiwiblog all did the quick crab scuttle in frantic attempts to distance themselves from the startlingly frank words of Louis Crimp.

They fell over themselves in a race to sling that fashionable Marxist label “RACIST”. “Oh dear” wails the wettest of the wet liberals, David Farrar. “This article is disgusting” declares ACT wrecker Nick Kearney. The confused Marxist Cameron Slater does them all proud with the declaration that “Louis Crimp is a goat’s knob“.

Meanwhile John Key’s sickening pandering to the separatist Maori Party completely escapes the censure of these self professed right wingers. Rather they applaud the fascist style political ascension of a race based group of NZers to a social level above that of every other NZer. They remain mute over separatists like John Key’s good friend Pita Sharples who said in March 2009-

“Why are we fighting whakapapa against whakapapa? There’s so much enemy that isn’t brown.”

Marxists want to destroy NZ’s traditional culture and replace it with Marxist culture. As a means to this destruction, we must be broken into separate groups and made to fight amongst ourselves.

So far the strategy is working beyond their wildest dreams, and with the enthusiastic help of scuttling politically crosswired idiots like Whale, Farrar and Kearney, they’re well on the way to turning NZ into a model Marxist society where evil recalcitrants like Lous Crimp do not exist or if they do, have been safely caged in re-education camps.

All this intense and craven condemnation of Louis Crimp by the National Party surrender-is always-the-best-option cheer squad is just another indicator of how that party has lost its way and doesn’t deserve your vote at the next election. They’re a pack of spineless politically confused scuttling Marxist crustaceans who just do not get it.

They’re only pretending to be right wing and an alternative to the left, while being just as Marxist at heart as the next socialist drongo, and that is why we’re better off without them.
