Rob Stock is pissed because he can’t use his credit card to give money to Wikileaks. “I am labouring with futile anger towards my chosen credit card company. Why am I seething? Because Visa chose to limit my political freedom by blocking me from sending a contribution to the Wikileaks fighting fund. Under pressure from the US government Visa, Mastercard and American Express have all blocked cardholders from making payments to Wikileaks.”
Of course Rob completely overlooks the legal implication of dealing with a group that is probably going to be subject to serious criminal charges. Not important to some pissant narcissistic journalist in NZ, but significant to any major corporation in the banking industry.
Rob whines piteously about his “freedoms”. The US military is the one force in the world that is doing something for freedom. He wants to impede its work by contributing money to a subversive organisation that seeks to undermine its efforts. Full of left wing rubbish he’s probably completely oblivious to that contradiction. (Of course even if the cowardly Wikileaks and Assange had confidential files from Red China or Russia, they wouldn’t publish them because they know the repercussions would be a lot worse than with the spineless and dithering Obama administration.)

I just cannot fathom the support this guy has got. You just cannot have activists putting classified documents dealing with the activities of the Defence Forces into the public arena. Who the hell is Assange to be deciding what should be out there or not?
Assange is the same kind of coward to me as those who vandalised the Waihopai base. They wouldn’t go to China or wherever and vandalise one of the Communist Chinese bases. Too hard and too dangerous.
They don’t do these things for any reason other than that they are attention seeking narcissists. Seen Assange’s dating site web page? IMHO, he comes across as a completely self absorbed loon.
