How’s That Vibrancy Working Out For You? Muslims Denounce Christmas as Evil

The essential element of Progressivism is that we must all agree on what is good, and what is good is what the Progressives say is good. So when they said multi-culturalism was something we should all embrace, those duped by the autocracy embraced it. Those who made the point that every time we allowed other cultures to develop in the society we had built, it automatically eroded part of our own culture, were told to shut the hell up, and classified as persona non grata.

The NZ Herald and the NY Times wouldn’t print their letters, and neither Al Franken or Kerre Woodham would allow them to vent on their talkback shows. ABC and TV One ran uplifting stories of the benefits of multiculturalism and spiked stories of (for example) female genital mutilation. You were either a multiculturalist or a bigoted cave dwelling redneck/ racist.

The thrust of the Multiculturalist ideal was that a mix of cultures was preferable to a single culture. No evidence was offered to support this. The Progressives merely ordained it to be so, and it became so. Now, multiculturalism shows every sign of just being one more very bad idea of the kind the left have been generating for decades.

As the distinct items of Judeo Christian culture that characterised it as one of the most successful in global history have been eroded, and immigrants have (for example) attempted to impose laws that confront our own, and attacked our armed forces, and set off bombs among our population, and attempted to subject woman family members to stone age rites, and preached hate and intolerance of our own culture on a wide scale, the diversity and vibrancy and colour that the progressives said we needed so badly, starts to look like a very bad trade off.

The Daily Mail today reports an exceptionally offensive act by our imported friends.

Fanatics from a banned Islamic hate group have launched a nationwide poster campaign denouncing Christmas as evil. Organisers plan to put up thousands of placards around the UK claiming the season of goodwill is responsible for rape, teenage pregnancies, abortion, promiscuity, crime and paedophilia. They hope the campaign will help ‘destroy Christmas’ in this country and lead to Britons converting to Islam instead. [..] The bottom of the poster declares: ‘In Islam we are protected from all of these evils. We have marriage, family, honour, dignity, security, rights for man, woman and child.’

A spokesman boasted that the posters would be put up in cities around the country, including London, Birmingham and Cardiff. Doesn’t this make it all worthwhile? This colour. This vibrancy. This dynamism. This harmony. This wonderful cultural melting pot that the Progressives have foisted upon us? Please, if you leave any comments , try and make sure you don’t offend any Muslims. You know you don’t want to look like a racist redneck.

    To paraphrase James Delingpole:

“We need multiculturalism..? I was in the Sudan recently and went to a small village made up entirely of Sudanese people… I didn’t hear any of them saying, “you know what we really really need around here, a bunch of drunk, white, English teenagers going to a rave”…

My opinion is Multiculturalism isn’t inherently good or bad, it is simply is present or isn’t and whether it works or not depends on the cultures and individual citizens involved, we don’t need it but it doesn’t necessarily need to be suppressed…

Since we are as humans programmed as to fear change or unfamiliar people and surroundings, Multiculturalism was and is a driver of conflict… It is for this reason I think a minority of the white Kiwis who move to Australia do so, in part, for the uniformity – most go for the greater opportunities (for the same reason those from other cultures seek to move here and there) but I do think this plays a part… It is 92% white there as opposed to 66% here, it is a natural human desire to seek to live with people similar to oneself, that you assume you inherently understand… I’m sure the Left Wing Moon Bats (LWMB) would describe this as racist but I simply think it is human nature…

What I think would be an interesting study is the effect on the “good” aspects of multiculturalism or the “success” of it in a culture that has an absence of force… The USA had almost completely open immigration till the early 1900s because it wasn’t running a welfare state, and (apart obviously from African-Americans who were subjected to unjust force for 400 years) the integration seemed to work well to me after time…

Force in a society seems to be a hamper on “successful” Multiculturalism and it’s potential positive aspects to me, which of course makes it ironic it is pushed by LWMB… People resent being forced to fund welfare for others “not like them”, who have “not yet paid their fair share of taxes”, yet if this force was removed people would view many immigrants for what the majority of them really are, people looking to get ahead on their own in their adopted new culture…

Then of course there is issue of cultures too different to integrate, if a culture moves to the West and does not conform to the tenets of Western Society, freedom and individual rights but seeks to change that society then Multiculturalism fails… This process is sped up when the majority of existing citizens in the West have no idea what principles their political and economic systems are based on and why those systems are right and moral…

Yes, well said Jeremy. I object to European Judeo Christian culture that brought so much freedom and prosperity to the world (until recently) being used as a door mat for every other culture. We should cherish it, and protect it, and not dilute it with cultural elements that are directly incompatible with or confront its basic tenets.

In a recent speech by Gen. Kelly USMC he had this to say about Multiculturalism:

They know the real strength of a platoon, a battalion, or a country that is not worshiping at the altar of diversity, but in a melting point that stitches and strengthens by a sense of shared history, values, customs, hopes and dreams, all of which unifies a people making them stronger, as opposed to an unruly gaggle of “hyphenated” or “multi-cultural individuals.”

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/12/an_extraordinary_speech.html

I don’t see how anyone could read or listen to that speech and remain a US hating LWMB…

We should cherish it, and protect it, and not dilute it with cultural elements that are directly incompatible with or confront its basic tenets.

Recently on Red Alert Labour MP Damien O’Connor had this to say about an English company getting a contract for running a private prison (a policy I don;t actually agree with):

It seems abhorrent that the country we and the Australians left for a better life will now deliver on a justice system that treats too many of our indigenous population.

    To which I responded:

How exactly is it abhorrent..? Are you saying England is an abhorrent country or that Anglo-saxon culture is abhorrent..? I think our lingering political connections to the UK are a relic of the past but many NZers feel a connection with Canada, Australia, the UK and to a lesser extent the USA due to our shared colonial past, we are proud of Anglo-saxon culture and tenets of this poem:

If I should die, think only this of me:
That there’s some corner of a foreign field
That is for ever England. There shall be
    In that rich earth a richer dust concealed;
A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware,
Gave, once, her flowers to love, her ways to roam,
A body of England’s, breathing English air,
Washed by the rivers, blest by suns of home.

And think, this heart, all evil shed away,
A pulse in the eternal mind, no less
    Gives somewhere back the thoughts by England given;
    Her sights and sounds; dreams happy as her day;
And laughter, learnt of friends; and gentleness,
In hearts at peace, under an English heaven.

    – The Soldier, Rupert Brooke, 1914

I’m a 6th generation NZer and proud of it but we owe England and by extent the UK a lot, and they us…

    Funnily enough he didn’t respond…

The Islamists who came up with this idea of Christmas being evil are ignorant. Muslims believe in the virgin birth of Jesus and revere Him as a prophet and believe He will come at the end of the world as a judge. Whenever they say the name of Jesus, they have to say “peace be upon Him”. So, how can the celebration of the birth of one so revered in Islam be considered evil?

Of course these Muslim scum build their claims upon a false foundation. And while many secularists may use Christmas as an excuse to get hammered, have promiscuous sex, and beat their spouse while in a drunken stupor, this is NOT representative of how those who acknowledge Christ as their Lord and Saviour celebrate His birth.

And do we not sense the hypocrisy of the words of these so called ‘virtuous’ Muslims? The followers of Islam who, even today, and all in the name of Islam – murder the infidel (and each other), rape infidel women and underage teenage girls (especially in their host countries), sexually mutilate their own womenfolk, view non-Muslims as worse than animals, and while they demand we slaughter animals according to halal practice they cut off the heads of those infidels they manage to capture while still alive and conscious. Not to mention that Islam uses terror and demography to take over and subdue the West, and while they refuse to assimilate they DEMAND we acknowledge and incorporate Sharia into our own legal system and culture.

How dare these worshippers of an illiterate murdering Arab pedofile and his false god challenge us over the meaning of Christmas and the Christ who’s birth it celebrates.

The evils of Christmas? – if you want EVIL look no further than true evil as embodied in Islam and its adherents!!!

    Lucia Maria 17:55,

The Jesus of Islam is NOT the Jesus of the Bible! While Muslims may acknowledge Him (their Jesus) as a prophet, they most certainly deny His deity, that He is God the Son, and that He died for the sins of the world.

I hope you’re not also one of those who equate the god of Islam; Allah, with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?!

    Kris,

Yes I am and no I am not. How’s that for an answer!

I’ve taken on Hiliare Belloc’s claim that Islam is a Catholic heresy. So, because it is a heresy, yes, they worship the same God. But, because they twist revelation and add Mohammed and all sorts of idiocy and warp God into some sort of distant God who is pure will, in a sense they don’t worship the same God, because they hardly know Him.

I’ll bet that editors have the phrase “British Muslims object to…’” on standby to save time: all you have to do is fill in the rest of the sentence. The possibilities are endless because, basically, Muslims object to EVERYTHING* British. The hypocrisy on both sides is profound.

The truth is that the words “Muslim” and “British”, representing diametrically opposite poles of thought and philosophy, are so antithetical there can be NO SUCH THING as a “British Muslim”.

    Lucia Maria [December 23, 2010] 18:59,

Have a meditate on the below verses –

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1Jo 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

    – and then get back to me on whether Muslims worship the same god as the God [Father, Son & Holy Spirit] of the Bible.

Kris K, do you remember the subject of the arsenic associated bacteria which people like Chthoniid at Kiwiblog saw as literally evidence of little green men?

Turns out it was all rather shoddy NASA research.

Important lesson: Never evangelize science, particularly when using it to confirm one’s own atheistic worldview.

    Thanks Angus,

That’s the trouble with those who worship at Darwin’s altar – they always have some latest greatest ‘evidence’ for their atheistic worldview. And even if it is found to be shoddy research a short time later, it appears that they win the argument at the time simply because the opposing view doesn’t have an immediate comeback.

I guess I’m having a break for a while from KB – when I feel suitably motivated I’ll probably come back. I’m enjoying the environment here (& at Crusader Rabbit) too much at the moment 🙂

    Kris,

By what you are implying those verses mean, Jews would therefore not worship the same God.

Since when were Muslims opposed to paedophilia? Mohammad was one and when the nutters took over in Iran they dropped the age of consent to nine because that is the age Mohammad sexually abused his child bride.

    Lucia 22:45,

Those religious Jews (ignoring Messianic) who acknowledge their God ONLY acknowledge Him as revealed in the Old Testament ie God the Father. Of course, as you know, most Jews reject that Jesus Christ was the fulfilment of their long awaited Messiah.

And just like everyone else, they can only come to God the Father through Christ the Son – they can only obtain salvation by coming in repentence through the biblical Christ, and by accepting His sacrifice on the cross and that He rose again.

Sometimes Lucia, for someone who professes to know Christ, you really surprise me with what you come out with.

Heb 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
