Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie (Democrat) has stated his intention to try and change Hawaii’s laws so that “more information can be made public” about Obama’s (claimed) birth there. This is just more pathetic smoke screening of course as whatever documentation on file in Hawaii can be released whenever Obama says it can. All Obama has to do is sign a release to that effect.

However, in the video below, you’ll see an astonishing development. Chris Matthews, a leftist propagandist at MSNBC Television has been one of the President’s most solid defenders. Finally, at long last, he admits that the COLB, the document released on line as proof of Obama’s birth in Hawaii, is not the same as or equivalent to the original birth certificate.

This represents a massive change in strategy for Obama’s far left media supporters who have until now, insisted that Obama had revealed his birth certificate and it was the online COLB document. Of course that has never been true, and finally, they have been forced to surrender to the truth. The lie has been abandoned. A COLB is not an Original Birth Certificate.

Matthews then goes on to raise the same point that I and so many others have previously raised. Why doesn’t Obama release the original? There is still no valid answer to this perfectly reasonable question, and it is a measure of the absolute corruption of the current mainstream media that they refuse to address this important issue.

Imagine if it was George Bush under scrutiny. The media today, with their spineless and unprincipled support for Obama at all costs, are corrupt and partisan betrayers of their craft. At least one of them, the chronically biased (“tingle up my leg”) Chris Matthews, has been forced into abandoning his lies. How long before the rest of the media are forced to do the same?
