The Enablers and the Tea Partiers

“Enabler” is a word with feminist origins, and I’d usually run a mile from their kind of rhetoric, but its a useful noun. The feminazis used it possibly quite correctly, ( a rare event for them) to describe women who had been mistreated by their husbands, or who had witnessed their husbands mistreating others, but had never done what they should have done to stop or escape that mistreatment.

It references a mental state really, in that the enabler is either so controlled by the offender that she becomes complicit in the offending. Instead of victim and predator, we have the strange situation where the two roles merge in to one. I’m not sure how such situations arise, but I can guess. The partnership starts off pretty much OK, but then, gradually, over time, one comes to completely mentally dominate the other, invade their consciousness, so that the victim completely loses the ability to think for themselves. Even worse, the victim comes to believe in and propagate the ideas that keep her/him bound to and under the control of the predator.

So “enabler” becomes a useful word in the political sense, for those circumstances I relate above are almost identical to the state of affairs that exists today in the US and other western countries where a relatively free thinking and independent self reliant society has been bound by predators, and that society now subscribes fully to the ideas the predators have gradually implanted in their mind, and actually believe in and propagate the ideas that keep them bound.

The predators are the cultural Marxists, who first appeared to merge harmlessly with our free society, but gradually grew to dominate and enslave it. The stark truth is that if the Marxists had made their full intent known upon the occasion of their first appearance, they would have been roundly rejected. If they had stated that it was their idea to deconstruct and then reconstruct our society people would have asked “why?” If they had said they wanted to grow government into a huge monolithic force, interfering in every facet of our day to day existence, people would have said “no”. If they had said that they would take money from those who produced it, and, in return for political support, distribute it among those who do not produce, they would have been told to go away.

But they didn’t. They kept completely quiet about all of these intentions, but slowly worked to engineer an “enabler” type situation, whereby the victim not only failed to resist but rather, like a victimised and emotionally battered wife, slowly grew to collude in their own subjugation. The cultural Marxists began their work in our schools and universities and from there branched out into other key areas of society where they could manipulate at full strength. Television was one of these key areas. Political commentators were almost exclusively Marxist. Entertainment shows were injected with subtle Marxist terminology and themes. Movies likewise were designed to propagate false Marxist themes concerning “fairness” and “equality” in society. Political agitators on the ground worked to split us into conflicting groups and so destroyed our social cohesiveness, an outcome that helped the predators immeasurably in their quest for dominance.

The victims had no idea they were being imprisoned. Like a wife who believes her husband’s control was well intentioned and “good” for her, so they yielded to the Marxists and became psychologically dependent upon the ideas that were in reality poisonous and afflicting them in the way a fatal drug afflicts a dying addict.

Counselors and the like will tell you that trying to free a battered wife from the clutches of her predator husband is often an almost impossible task. The wife’s powers of reason have been so depleted during the period of her subjugation, she will reject all reason and even when she professes a yearning to escape, will inexplicably run back to her mistreating husband and the status quo. Her thinking processes have become so stunted, her prime comfort zone is in the prison her predator has built for her.

So I can at last get to the end of my metaphor, and its probably an ending well evident to any intelligent readers. Today’s culturally Marxist dominated society is the self destructive co-operative of the battered wife and the predator, and the Tea Partiers are the rescuers. As the wife is slow to realise the door is open to escape, so the dupes of the cultural Marxists are reluctant to step outside, to leave the prison that has become their comfort zone. So they spit and scratch at their rescuers, and shout at them the words and ideas their predators have implanted in their minds.

There is one radical difference in the allegory. The cultural Marxists and their victims have taken their situation outside of the family home and are attempting to force others into their lifestyle when those others are not afflicted. In the US, the Obama government of cultural Marxists has stepped into the open like never before and is now brazenly attempting to extend its predator/ victim social relationship to all areas of society.

Obama’s force of predators need a strong reminder that not everybody has been sucked into their plan. We are not victims, and we are most emphatically not enablers. Although we may have been unduly meek in the past, we have realised our mistake, and we will not any further allow the combined force of predators and their mentally damaged enabling victims to try and force us to live in the same dehumanising paradigm they themselves choose to live in.

We will try to persuade you, and through reason draw you out of your destructive relationship, but do not make the mistake of thinking we have endless patience. Especially do not make the even worse mistake of thinking we will be submerged by weight of numbers. We will not. We see you clearly. We will not ever surrender to such a dehumanising existence and such an anti-human relationship. If you cannot be saved from yourself, you must, in the end face the full and inevitable consequences of your situation. Make your choice, but make it well. Soon, there will be no going back.

    Excellent topic, Red.

Have you noticed that it is almost impossible for those on the (far) Right to be labelled “enablers”?

Hopefully we enable no one – except, perhaps, God Almighty. Although I think it is more a case of Him enabling us!

A very good article Red. As an ex-cop I can certainly relate to the enablers, the battered wives who become so reliant and so inured to the physical abuse and brow beating, that they just can’t live without it. It becomes, like a recurrent nightmare, a part of their lives. And so we have the ‘battered wives’ of the welfare class and those who have been educated to reject conservatism and all who stand for it. Those people who would not be able to exist without government help, money and direction, they have become so reliant on. Yes, it is now a sad fact of life!

Most of the discussions that occur outside of NZ Conservative, Crusader Rabbit and this blog all revolve around “nuancing” Socialism/ Progressivism.

They all buy into that worthless crap that if we just tweak this and bend that, then it will work. Just like the battered wife. If she goes back, and just tries a few different things, then it will change. It doesn’t, and similarly, socialism will never work. They’re just friggin brain damaged Marxist lemmings.

I came across this speech about PC’ness/cultural Marxism. It is what you have been saying all along but I thought that I’d link to it anyway.

    Great post, RB!!

As one who has been in abusive relationships, I just want to point out that not ALL of us who have finally arrived in sunshine are guilty of enabling – initially, as a survivor of physical/psychological/sexual abuse as a child/adolescent, for ~ the first 10 years of my adulthood, it seemed I had a sign “Abuse me, PLEASE!” on my forehead – I finally got off that merry-go-round, and with the FodGuy, I have a much more HEALTHY relationship …………………………… 😉

Absolutely perfect analogy RB, I believe that you have encapsulated the West’s dilemma precisely. The collective surrounds the individual and embroiders them into a tapestry of others that completes the whole. Therefore the individual is required to be submissive at all times in order to facilitate the process of creating the collective. Hence, the necessity of feminizing Western society to insure submission. Once you factor in the dominant bitch theory, I believe that you have a complete leftist model as this is where the leftist elites and leadership originate. Thus do we see the leftist leadership displayed, not as nurturing and caring nannies, but as bitch goddesses who punish and force conformity to a capricious ideal. This even explains the twisted and sick nature of the left’s policies and beliefs.

    Perfection indeed.
