RB — why did you leave off the credit of this quote? It’s Teddy Roosevelt, and in it he disguises his own lack of humility as he aided the “Progressives” on many levels to gain the foothold that has allowed them to lead us to this current crisis.
“and spends himself on a worthy cause” can be a justification for just about anything, because the worthiness is always in the doers eyes. In the instance of the Incremental power attainers, it is to rule the world because us individuals are “too damn stupid to rule” ourselves.

Of course the Indian Association is saying this is unlikely to be an honour killing, and that such things are a thing of the past. But it is widely known that such murders still go on today. And comments from such groups as Shakti show this to be the case.
I must admit that when I first heard of this burning alive of this poor woman, and before the nationality or names were revealed, I immediately thought this was likely an honour killing by someone probably from the Indian sub-continent or similar. Funny how one’s gut feelings often turn out to be correct.
Just another example of how MULTICULTURALISM is a dismal failure in the West, and how those especially recent immigrants refuse to integrate and embrace Western Judeo-Christian cultural values and mores.
Expect to see more of this sort of thing as uncontrolled immigration is permitted to continue, and accelerates, from “backward cultures” into the West.

Kris, Multiculti is the secular Left’s way of rubbing the remnant JudeoChristians nose in our failure. The failure has been in our being overly tolerant of the secular humanists. Every time they say “oh, we’re only joking” about drastically reducing global human populations our “leaders” don’t press them any further. I wonder how long they’ll remain laughing.
Currently, wherever we try to protect any members of the exotic cultures from their own monsters, even information only, we are attacked by alleged members of our own society.
Has “The Long March” through our institutions been completed? With the Left in control, many wearing the costume of the Right, I fear it is irreversible without resort to God.

Indeed. Two of Red’s other posts, “Ten Commandments Restored at Virginia schools” and “More Compulsion From The Homosexual Lobby” highlight exactly this point.
I think you and I are on the same page, Pascal. As I (and I’m sure you do, too) believe this is primarily a spiritual war against satanic forces working through human agencies, then the ONLY way to confront such evil is with God’s wisdom, guidance, and enabling. And such things are only available to those who know Him personally. That God would raise up godly men and women to confront this evil is my prayer. And I think we’re starting to see this happen. Amen! To Him be all the glory!

Thanks for the information on it. If I’d taken the trouble I probably wouldn’t have used it. That said, it is quite a good quote and made my point that it is much easier to criticise than to do.

RINOSKUNC. Since then they all have used that gambit — “oh, it’s easy for you to criticize — I’m the one who has to run for office” — to cover for their despicable deeds. That’ll give any decent person nightmares my friend. When do you call them on it, and when to you let them have their run? — Too often the truth comes out long after the damage has been done.
