I like Maggie Barry but that is not the issue. Candidates shouldn’t be elected because they’re likeable. They should be elected on their political message. What’s Maggie’s political message? I dunno. Maybe its %$#&^%$#@#% $^^ **^^%%$$^ +)(%^&%$ **&^%$..!!!

I mean it might as well be. What the hell does anyone know of her politics? What the hell does Maggie know of her politics? Apparently she only felt the urge to stand after listening to John Key’s Pike River speech. A good speech but what the hell was in it that would provide political inspiration?

If National select the politically gormless Maggie Barry for Botany it will just be further confirmation of what a useless bunch of losers they are without one damn idea of how to remove NZ from the death grip of the left. I mean, do they even want to?

Herald journalist Adam Bennet writes- Right-leaning political commentator Matthew Hooton [Aside- Good one Adam- right leaning is far better than right wing] said Mr Ross had the advantage of being young and could bring voters to National who may not have voted for them before. Gardening guru Ms Barry, who had conservation credentials and had appeared in advertisements for hearing aids, could be competition for New Zealand First leader Winston Peters in attracting older voters. “If she does win that Botany election … she will be able to hit that Grey Power circuit, the sort of areas where National is sometimes weak,” said Hooton.

What the hell is this? Young? Old? Hearing aids?? I try not to swear on this blog but FOR F**K”S F**KING SAKE..!!!

Is that the only damn criteria that National and Mr. Hooten can focus on? How damn gutless and useless. I don’t give a damn how old or young they are, I want to know whether they’re right wingers or left wingers. What the hell is wrong with wanting to know that, and why is the National party apparently too spineless to bring these factors into the argument???

Do either of these candidates want lower taxes, or smaller government?? Who would know? This is exactly why the National Party is a write off. They’re useless because they will not and cannot talk about the things that matter. Bogged down in the same group think collectivist mentality that infests the Labour Party, they are a mere shadow of what a Conservative political party should be. I despise them for their spinelessness. Its time to kick them out of office. Rather have the true left there any day than these lame idea-less traitors and surrender monkeys.
