Swedish Welfare State Collapses as Immigrants Wage War

The wave of robberies the city of Malmö has witnessed during this past year is part of a “war against the Swedes.” This is the explanation given by young robbers from immigrant backgrounds when questioned about why they only rob native Swedes, in interviews with Petra Åkesson for her thesis in sociology. “I read a report about young robbers in Stockholm and Malmö and wanted to know why they rob other youths. It usually does not involve a lot of money,” she says. She interviewed boys between 15 and 17 years old, both individually and in groups.

Almost 90% of all robberies reported to the police were committed by gangs, not individuals. “When we are in the city and robbing we are waging a war, waging a war against the Swedes.” This argument was repeated several times. “Power for me means that the Swedes shall look at me, lie down on the ground and kiss my feet.” The boys explain, laughingly, that “there is a thrilling sensation in your body when you’re robbing, you feel satisfied and happy, it feels as if you’ve succeeded, it simply feels good.” “It’s so easy to rob Swedes, so easy.” “We rob every single day, as often as we want to, whenever we want to.” The immigrant youth regard the Swedes as stupid and cowardly: “The Swedes don’t do anything, they just give us the stuff. They’re so wimpy.” The young robbers do not plan their crimes: “No, we just see some Swedes that look rich or have nice mobile phones and then we rob them.”

The Sewdish version of ACT did quite well at their last election so maybe all hope isn’t lost…

Enterprising people the Swedes, they would most likely be the wealthiest, most innovative country in the world if it wasn’t for the socialism nonsense…

As the good book says ,you reap what you sow,and now the multicultural socialist Swedes have a bitter harvest.

As always though it is the ordinary citizen who suffers the consequences of elitist, imposed policies. They should have been more careful at the ballot box.

Apart from all the other reasons that the “multicultural” experiment CAN NOT LAST, it is simply economically unsustainable. There was a time when immigration enhanced a country’s economic viability; now, it destroys it.

Well, the point is the culture Wakey. Our culture has been destroyed. And not only by immigrants. They were only part of the plan.

We had immigration before and it worked OK because our culture was not under attack. New immigrants today play an active part in the plan to break down and rebuild our culture.

I read a great article about this in Spectator Australia over new year – the gist: that immigration in the past used to consist of asking Mario, Dimitri, Stavros and Deepak to come over have a beer, a BBQ and watch the cricket, it now consists of respecting immigrants rights to set up a mini version of the country they came from in Australia…

IMHO there is nothing wrong with completely open immigration if you aren’t running a welfare state and there is no state funded indoctrination to accept that all cultures are equal… It worked in the US for 120 years…

You’ve nut shelled it Jeremy. What was the key difference though between then and now? Why have attitudes changed? Cultural Marxism.

By way of response to more Sweden-bashing, if you’ll let it stand:

    – The blog post you quoted from was over four years old, and none of the source material was available to read. Not exactly super-fresh…

    – There is no Swedish equivalent to ACT in government here – not exactly sure where Jeremy is getting his facts from.

Not bashing Sweden at all, it possesses wonderfully talented and hardworking people, IKEA, Tetra Laval, etc come to mind immeaditely, but there is a reason the richest man and woman are now ex-pats, even with some of the most talented people in the world in it’s number and natural resources aplenty Scandanavia cannot keep up socialism forever…

If you’ll reread my post I didn’t say a right wing party was in Government, I said their furtherest ring wing party of note did well at their last election – which it did…

Jeremy: But the government IS right-wing now – not the definition Redbaiter would use I’ll grant, but roughly equivalent to National. They are in a coalition with a Centrist party, a Christian Democrat party and a ‘social liberal’ party.

I’d doublecheck before you equate ACT (ostensibly classic liberals, pro freedom etc) with Sverigedemokraterna (anti-immigration single issue party whose 6,9% in the polls has already crashed in recent times).

By way of a footnote to the last comment, all parties in ‘Alliansen’ or the right-wing coalition which retained power at the last election had as an absolutely non-negotiable position that they would not enter into an agreement with Sverigedemokraterna if that party got into a powermaking position. The Prime Minister had already set up talks with the Greens on a confidence-and-supply-type agreement to avoid having to work with Sverigedemokraterna.

I wasn’t referring to Sverigedemokraterna, anti-immigration parties aren’t right wing parties to my way of thinking, I generally abhor them…

And apart from anything else Den, I think you need to check your definition of “right wing”. To claim the Key-led National government is right wing indicates strongly that you are confused on the meaning of the term. A good indication that a party claiming to be right wing is in fact, lying, is if they are prepared to talk to the greens. Key has enthusiastically implemented at least 2 green policies (the anti-parenting law and the ridiculous emissions trading scam), neither of which are remotely right wing. One is a(nother) nanny-style intrusion into peoples’ personal lives and the other is a wealth redistributive sop to the greatest scam ever pulled on mankind.
