National Public Radio (NPR) Fake Muslim Brotherhood Tape- (Let’s do it to RNZ)

This story is a couple of days old and I was going to skip it until I watched the video and it changed my mind. This would be one of the most stark examples of the gross amorality and hypocrisy of the left that you would ever see. It features two of NPR’s management Ron Schiller and Betsy Liley, who thought they were meeting with two members of the Muslim Brotherhood ready to donate $5 million to the broadcaster.

The gross bigotry and hate of Schiller and Liley is well and truly exposed as they scramble to seek the favour of their potential benefactors, who were actually part of a sting by an independent journalist who had set a trap designed to trick the NPR executives into exposing the truth about the extreme left politics of their organisation. Don’t forget, these are the same people who fired Juan Williams a few months ago for alleged bigotry towards Muslims. Examples-

Schiller- “The current Republican party, particularly the Tea Party is fanatically involved in people’s personal lives and very fundamental Christian — I wouldn’t even call it Christian. It’s this weird Evangelical kind of move.”

Schiller- “The current Republican party is not really the Republican party. It’s been hijacked by this group — that is … And not just Islamaphobic but xenophobic, I mean basically they are, they are, they believe in sort of white, middle-America, gun-toting — I mean it’s scary. They’re seriously racist, racist people.”

Liley- “I think the challenge in our society now is that we are questioning facts. [on climate change] It’s not opinions we are debating. I mean, what are the facts? Is the world flat? Is that the next question we’re going to debate?”

Schiller- “In my personal opinion, liberals today might be more educated, fair and balanced than conservatives.”

If you watch the video, you’ll need a strong stomach. The bigotry, hypocrisy and prejudice is truly nauseating.

Unbelievable. Just goes to show that governments should have no discretionary funding and spending powers at all. It always gets abused by interest groups and other dark forces.

“You can’t do it to RNZ – they don’t accept private funding”

What’s that got to do with it?. You could induce them into the same kind of revelations on any pretext. The point is the broadcaster is staffed by the same kind of extreme left bigots who pose in the same way as moderates. This sting uncovered the falseness and bigotry of NPR and we need to pull a similar sting on RNZ for a similar objective. How the sting is organised is secondary. You need to improve your comprehension skills one hell of a lot.

The only problem is that the video was faked. O’Keefe could not get the answers he wanted so he just rearranged them on the tape so Schiller appeared to diss the Republican party, which he did not do. http://n.pr/ggvvUH Neither did the second sting tape diss the republicans or agree with a non-existent Muslim Brotherhood organizations or accept money. In fact, the tape and the letter that followed it specifically said they would NOT accept money for coverage. http://mediamatters.org/blog/201103100042

The real story here is how the mainstream media fell for another faked video while Shirley Sherrod has Brightbart in court for using a faked video to get her fired and the people who did the ACCRON faked tape are in jail in San Diego. Fair criticism of political figures and public institutions is legitimate and healthy in Democracy. It was how the Tea party got started, criticizing government and corporations that had grown too big. But faking video and telling lies to the public falls under the rubric of “false witness” which you shall not bear, especially in a democracy.

O’Keefe released the whole tape completely voluntarily.

I don’t read NPR or Media Matters. They are habitual left wing liars and I wouldn’t waste my time with them.

My tolerance for such biased sources ran out years ago.

Furthermore, I do not intend to let minor details distract from the main issue, and that is that Schiller dissed the Tea party in an extremely bigoted way. The NPR is a left wing propaganda device. They pretend to be objective. They are not. For that deceit, they deserve to be defunded.
