Social Liberals Besotted With PC Doctrines On Sexual Orientation of MPs

“For my own part, as long as he hasn’t broken the law I don’t care what Hughes or any other politician gets up to in the privacy of their own lives. Couldn’t be less interested. That’s their business–or should be.”

“I was unaware until now that Darren is gay, not that it makes a difference to his performance as an MP.”

Two cringeworthy comments from the blogosphere. Then we have David Farrar’s likewise cringing obeisance where he would not even allow comments on his post, and then deleted some he considered “inappropriate” from his General Debate Section. In some cases it may have been because of legal concerns. In others it was clearly defined by Mr. Farrar’s strangely obsessive fear of offending the homosexual/ Progressive political power bloc.

I don’t know where this idea came from that MP’s are to have a line drawn between their private life and their public life. MPs…?? MPs are political creatures and sexual orientation these days, like it or not, is intertwined with politics. Its not the same as truck driving for example. One could easily say that a truck driver, homosexual or straight, might be as good a truck driver in either case.

Politics is not truck driving. Politicians represent people. They enact legislation on a myriad of issues all tinged with social outcomes that I am, in a democracy, entitled to a choice on. Being a heterosexual white male, I have every right to select as my representative a politician sharing those basic characteristics.

Social liberals are at pains to profess their lack of concern with sexual orientation however they simultaneously allow certain sectors of society a preference based on other characteristics. While my preference for a white heterosexual male is subject to scorn, a Maori is of course encouraged to choose their MP based on race. Social liberals will encourage a Muslim to choose based on religion. A woman is permitted to base her choice on sex. The same liberals swoon over feminist politicians.

Why then do liberals try to enforce an unwritten social law on identifying the sexual orientation of MPs and deny any right to make a voting choice based on that orientation ? When everything else is apparently fair game? I’ll tell you. Because they’re lame brainwashed Progressives who have drunk heartily from the cultural Marxist kool-ade bottle.

Then there’s the secrecy surrounding it all, and its sad to see blogs falling in to line on yet another tyrannical decree of the cultural Marxists. Because Darren Hughes is a Progressive homosexual, this apparently means we must all walk on eggshells in discussing any perceived or suspected offence. No doubt about it, he is being given special treatment. I suggest its not only because he’s homosexual, its also because he’s a leftist homosexual.

Where was the restraint in respect of Irish MP Iris Robinson, 60 years old and her affair with a 19 year old? What about Mark Foley? What about Larry Craig? Liberals claim they want to separate a person’s job from their sex life but when Rush Limbaugh is found to be using Viagra they’re sneering and smirking all over the liberal media.

The stuff coming from these liberal blogs is just cant and humbug, cringeworthy and hypocritical. Its symptomatic of brainwashing and the damage to clear thinking that years of cultural Marxism have brought to this country. If the cab driver taking me to the airport is queer, I don’t even want to know. If my MP is homosexual, I do want to know and I have the right to know and if I want to ask about it I should be able to without a torrent of criticism from a legion of sniveling politically correct control freak cultural Marxists.

I think there is a good chance Whaleoil is a bit unhinged but he picked this like a dirty nose…

Your right as usual RB… As a white, middle aged, Conservative you’ll have to console yourself with the fact that while every politician couldn’t care less of what we think, every corporation cares almost solely about what we think (we have the chequebooks you see)…

Red, this is your blog as Kiwiblog is David’s blog. However, I would suggest you invite David to respond and promise not to delete his post or allow real abuse of him.

I have found the liberal pro homosexual lobby do not like honest debate. The do not like to admit the fact that homosexuals offend against underage adolescents at a rat greatly disproportionate to their numbers in the population.

    Indeed Chuck . .

In a still-deepening scandal, a Christian GP, Hans-Christian Raabe, was sacked from the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs. His crime? To have co-authored a document which claimed that 25 per cent of paedophiles were homosexual.

It was bad enough that Dr Raabe was bundled off the Advisory Council because he was demonised for views which bore no relation whatever to his ability as a drug policy-maker.

But now we learn the astounding fact that the very same Home Office that sacked him had itself published data saying precisely the same thing.

In a report it published in 1998, it had referred to research which ‘suggested reasonably that approximately 20 to 33 per cent of child sexual abuse is homosexual in nature’.

The Rise Of The Homosexual Super-Citizen:

The facts in America today are that homosexuals have been elevated to be America’s Super Citizens, above the law to the point where their psychological need for acceptance trounces even the most basic Constitutional rights of others.

    Excellent post again Red.
There are a disproportionate number of these types making decisions on issues they cannot be qualified to decide on.Being an MP appears to be coming a career option for those who cannot ‘fit’ into the real world but can knit themselves into the fabric of a fantasy world revolving around Wellington.

    On DPF.
I was surprised at the response by him to the posts on KB.Ultra sensitive for some reason?

pinko, “there is a good chance Whaleoil is unhinged”. Actually mate, Whale himself and his good friend Cactus Kate say he’s ‘mental’. He frequently blogs about his battles with mental illness. I reckon he’s doing a great job bringing the tragedy of mental illness into view, from the perspective of his own personal battles.

He’s also figured out an issue with the timeline on the ‘Hughes Affair’:

And finally, off-topic with the exception that we’re talking about sodomites … isn’t it nice that that lovely Mr Finlayson no longer has to worry himself about finding a job post-Parliament. I’m sure his former employers will welcome him back with open arms now that he’s opened up a whole new grievance industry for them. (RB apologies for the thread-jack. I would have posted on New Zealand’s Premier Right Wing Blog but it seems that even though I’ve served my time in the naughty corner, my access hasn’t been restored. A breach of my human rights, perhaps).

I see the Herald is accepting comments. I wonder what their censorship policy is.

    http://www.nzherald.co.nz/opinion/news/article.cfm?c_id=466&objectid=10714788

If anyone posts to the Herald I suggest they save the posts and report on the blog. The Herald does not stop much when that attack ACT and allow comments. Someone referred to Rodney as a yellow turd. That in okay on a ordinary blog but I think that sort of bias is out of line on a blog run by the MSM.

Darren has been failed by the Labour party. The rainbow group have been his roll models from quite a young age and are really responsible for bringing him to this point. They should be ashamed of themselves and should bear criticism.

Given that labour has embraced homosexuality as a sexual preference just as good as heterosexuality then Hughes making sexual advances at an 18 your old male is to be expected. Presumably the issue is the age of the young man? Or some kind of sexual assault took place?

Given our moral malaise one wonders whether this will be quietly forgiven and Hughes will take his place once again. I’m not sure how our civilisation can continue to function given this acceptance of debauchery.

For those NZers not familiar with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Q and A program, its a live forum with a political panel answering questions from a live audience.Very similar to Question Time in the UK. You can watch the shows live any time on the ABC’s web page.

The whole thing is the usually grossly politically biased farce you would expect, with the host as left as you can get and the panel and audience always stacked against the one or two right wingers they have on the panel.

While the show plays, comments from viewers are played across the screen. (via twitter) These comments always show the left at their philistinal best and Andrew Bolt kept a screen grab of an obvious homosexual slur of the lone Liberal National Party rep (Christopher Pyne) on last week’s program.

You can see the screen grab here.

    Same old double standards.

Nobody seems to have much of a clue as to what the possible charges are.

Let’s see, the victim leaves the house and runs into a Police car. What does this mean? Well, he must have been distraught and or disorientated. Why would he be like this? Possibly because he had ingested medication alcohol or substance that led him to behave strangely.

Why are Police reported to be looking at videos of bars? What could the possibly see in such a video? Maybe someone putting something in a drink?

Was the victim’s drink spiked by someone? Is that the scenario?

I was just going to comment on the Herald Editorial which was open for comments. The comments are now off. Compare this when the Herald has a go at ACT. The leave comments and judging by what they let through I wonder what they reject if anything.

Would it be a waste of time complaining about total lack of balance to the appropriate authorities whoever they are?

Probably. The Herald is a despicable left wing newspaper only criticized on the left by those extremists who want it to be even further left.

… and another reason, IMHO, is that MOST [social] liberals are as morally bankrupt as are sodomite MPs who groom 18 year old males while out at political events followed by a night on the turps.

The whole social liberal “consenting adults” BS is beginning to wear a bit thin. Let’s face it, most social liberals, queer or not, are amoral bottom dwellers who wouldn’t know the meaning of the terms integrity, honour, or righteousness!

In the eyes of a liberal voting FOR a candidate based on gender, sexuality or ethnicity is fine. Voting against the candidate for the same reason is discriminatory.

everyone is focusing on whether or not darren hughes is gay. what if the complainant is the one that is gay and had his advances rejected by darren hughes. it was this
embarrassment that led him to running down the street naked and to lay a complaint that has no truth. only time will tell. but even then not all the details may come out as any footage that police can see from cctv footage will be that which is in the public eye and not what happened from behind closed doors where any real altercation or improper act actually occurred
