Minister of Consumer Affairs John Boscawen today launched Scam Awareness Week 2011 – a joint annual initiative run by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, as part of an Australasian Consumer Fraud Taskforce (ACFT) campaign, and focused on raising awareness of scams in the community.

Well thanks John, but no damn thanks. Just give me back the tax you were proposing to spend on THIS SCAM and cancel the whole operation. We well know who the principle damn scammers are in NZ. Its you John and your bloody bludging regulating taxing colleagues. You’ve been selling the welfare state to NZers now for decades, taking their money and telling them you will look after them, and you’ve spent all the money on yourselves and now the country is stuffed.

Selling gullible NZ voters the gold brick of socialism and deliberately through lies and deception, hiding the harsh reality under that gold coating, that is that socialism is simply a failed system that will not work. Inducing citizens to vote for you on the basis that you will bring them utopia when all you have brought is social destruction and now financial meltdown. YOU ARE THE SCAMMERS…!!

“Scammers rely, and prey, on human vulnerabilities [..] New Zealanders need to stay on their guard and remember the old message: if something seems too good to be true, then it probably is,” Mr Boscawen said.
