More Labour Party Moles Vying For a National Party Selection?

The National Party has named five hopefuls who want to run in long term trougher John Carter’s Northland electorate. Carter is retiring at the end of the current Parliament. He has had his snout in the trough since 1987 and is one of the useless lazy spineless appeasers who has taken the party far to the left and far from its ideological roots.

NewstalkZB reports that the five nominees are Sarah Davies, Matt King, Ken Rintoul, Mike Sabin and Mark Tan. They now have to undergo a selection process, and local party delegates will choose the candidate at the end of the month. One of them, Sarah Davies, has already made a bit of a name for herself on Cactus Kate’s blog. Apparently being a politically vacuous moron with a deeply imbedded far left mindset (I’ve read some of her writing) she’s probably odds on to win. According to Sarah, hearing Hillary Clinton speak was a “dream come true”. The picture shows her with another politician she “admires greatly”.

Have to agree Red. Davies is pretty much a shoo-in. If she doesn’t get selected in the electorate she’ll probably get a top-30 place on the List. After all that’s exactly what we need. More National Party communists in the Parliament. I’m pretty sure The Veteran from No Minister is on the committee for this electorate. Maybe he might like to comment after the selection process.

I agree but what is staggering is the unworldly credulity evidenced in her utterances… “a dream come to true” hearing Hillary? The Nats will give her a go but she’ll fizzle out before she’s 35 having achieved nothing except the acquisition of painful pretensions. A genuine leftie waste of space.

    Speaking of Labour list candidates:

Damien O’Connor has slammed his party’s list, saying it is dominated by “self-serving unionists and a gaggle of gays”.
    Beautiful! Not to mention accurate.

Of course National is little better, with its own assortment of queers, liars, and incompetents. Hard to see how Sarah Davies is not going to contribute to at least one of those categories.

WTF can this person possibly offer? She has never worked in a real job in the productive economy. She is clearly lining up for a lifetime at the trough, which fits with her pro–Klarkenfuhrer, pro-UN, pro-Clinton ravings. This person has no place as a member of the National Party, let alone as a Parliamentary representative.

Excuse me, but (with the greatest of respect to Jamie-Lee Ross who thus far has shown sense beyond his years) what the hell does someone this age know about running their own lives, let alone dipping their barely-post-adolescent fingers into anybody else’s?

Someone should email her a copy of National’s founding principles (see sidebar) and ask her whether she subscribes to them. I’ll post the response up here.

Actually, its question that should be asked of every damn National Party MP.

Jamie Lee Ross was one of the Nats who voted against the pro lifer in that abortion debate last week. He might make good speeches but as someone else noted watch how he votes.
