I live in the area where this happened, and if you’ve got a problem with “chicks with dicks” then that’s a you problem, not a me problem or “our” problem. It means that you need to deal with it and either be angry or reconcile your issues. It doesn’t give you the right to do what these monkeys did to this person. Prosecutors are seriously considering charging the 2 animals responsible for the beating with a hate crime. This is what happens when the “you” problem turns into “our” problem.

No one should be treated like that – period. Your opinion of transgendered people is irrelevant. NO one has the right to assault someone else because they don’t like their choices.
I’m a mom with a 7 year old daughter and I might be uncomfortable in a similar situation but I wouldn’t assault someone over it. I’d just step out and wait. I can’t make a judgement on what a trans-gender person should do – There are too many variables. Like it or not we live in a society where trans-gender is an everyday occurence. We generally use the ‘family’ bathroom (one big private bathroom) which is an option at our local McD’s. In some places it may be labeled with a handicap sign but it’s not just for disabled – if you’re not sure ask a manager. Don’t resort to this sort of behavior.
