… and we know the NZ government takes over 50% of the at-the-pump price in taxes. And if I recall correctly, the government’s “take” is indexed to any oil company price increase – so if the pump price goes up 4c per litre over half that is tax. And lets not mention the GST on TOP of all the other tax – a tax on a tax. Thieving bastards!
