If one ever gets bored enough to go to Frog Blog and seek out the strange rantings of those who call themselves the “Green” Party, ie a group of would be politicians who push the message that they are concerned about the “environment”, one might be surprised at the content.
Today the site is dominated by a number of posts by the Communist Keith Locke. As you might expect, the zealot Locke is writing hate speech directed at his mythical enemy “the rich”.
While many New Zealanders are struggling to make ends meet, others could afford a hefty $1000 to hear (and be photographed with) the former British PM Tony Blair when he spoke in Auckland today. Yes, Mr Blair is a politician for the rich. He only became Prime Minister after flying to Australia in 1995 to get media mogul Rupert Murdoch’s approval.
There is no reason for anyone professing to care about environmental issues to engage in hate mongering against certain people, and least of all because they have, for various reasons, more money than other people.
Locke’s words are those of the kind that have given rise to street riots and other forms of violence in Europe. The destruction of property in financial institutions, shops and businesses. Vicious and near fatal attacks on police. Funny that such writing escapes the scrutiny the mainstream media applies to non-left blogs.
If the Green Party was truly about the environment they would not harbour hate mongers like Keith Locke among their ranks.
Seven articles from Keith Locke on Frog Blog since 17th July. Same old extreme left anti-American anti-Israel garbage. Only one post from another party member and not on the environment either. What a bunch of complete frauds and charlatans.
Update- further vilification of those with opposing views from the Watermelons– (Hat tip to Kiwiblog)
Today, the oldest of the Children of the Mother of all Budgets are in their late teens or early twenties. They are frequently those who have never had paid employment, those whose families have been devastated by poverty, and the suicide victims who Te Ururoa Flavell now wants to be buried outside the entrance to the urupa, where they can be condemned forever.
Ruth Richardson caused this. She is the most evil New Zealander of the last century. She should be vilified, not honoured by the University of Canterbury with a doctorate she didn’t even study for.
These extreme left wing hate mongers deserve to be called out far more often than they are.

The comments from Locke are vile but I suggest that the snipe at Ruth Richardson is a blind assault on any recipient of welfare from her era. How dare this left p.o.s. assume that any child raised in part on the welfare tit will be a whining envy ridden loser like the ghastly watermelons are. They are bigotted unthinking and utterly irrelevant to anyone with even a modest sense of self-esteem. If Ruth Richardson is the worst of all Kiwis how would this loser describe Hone?

Yes, that Toad classifies Ruth Richardson as the “most evil NZer of the last century” says more about him than it does about Ruth Richardson.
These are the people who seek our vote in order that they may govern us. Just mind boggling really.

Saw a “One News Poll Result” the other week (not intentionally). Allegedly twice as many people prefer the thought of Greens running the till than Act.With bullshit like that being spoon-fed to citizens trained not to think…
I cringe, imagining that were real life

See he’s changed his mind now.
Ernie Abbot’s death was almost certainly an accident. One would think evil would have intent as its main component. These would be pols are so damn thick.

dondiego, I made exactly this comment somewhere else recently:
I work in the City of Melbourne, the electorate that sent Adam Bandt (Green MP) to Canberra. In my travels I encounter large numbers of people and only one person has actually admitted voting for Bandt. The fact is, people vote for the Greens not because of the product but because of the brand. Far too few people know what their policies actually are, because their policies are less relevant than their PR (saving the planet, etc. etc.)
Andrew Bolt had on Andrew McIntyre last Sunday talking about his new book that discusses exactly what would happen to Australia were green party policies ever enacted:
