I glanced at Not PC tonight and witnessed screeds of stuff attacking and criticizing and advising ACT. What is it with these bloody preaching pontificating arrogant buffoons that they are so oblivious to how ridiculous and pathetic and silly this looks?
ACT for sure is a basket case party, but they’re still streets ahead of the NZ Libertarians in any political measure you care to name. The Libs can’t even muster the numbers to cause a crush in a telephone box for a start off. Colin Craig’s new party has more members than the Libs have got votes. Any leaders with any pride or self respect would have quit in shame years ago if only on their abject failure to grow the party.
The Doctor and the MG driver need to STFU and get their own damn fast collapsing house in order before they worry so obsessively about ACT. Light-weight non-achieving strategy-less posturing loons who have never taken responsibility for a litany of political failures and mistakes far worse than any committed by Brash, Banks or Rodney Hide.
Really, the Libs giving ACT strategical and political advice is like Lady Gaga instructing Madonna on how to be vulgar.

That’s what an American friend would call “takin ’em to the woodshed”
Beautiful, and so bloody richly deserved. 🙂

Bless you Redbaiter. That final paragraph delivered a classic one liner.
But Not PC is often a good read and we should all be united against the common enemy than fight among ourselves.
Of course, I too am disappointed with how ACT has performed lately, but I think it is too late for this election to consider Craig’s bunch as an alternative.
If ACT fail this election, then after polling day, everything, including a new party, should be up for grabs.
New Zealand certainly needs a decent free-market small-state low-tax party of the right.
ACT should be that vehicle but we don’t seem to be getting it.

FFM, I don’t think you’ll find any argument here that we need to be united against the common enemy. If the Libz could just STFU their whingeing about gay marriage and drugs, and alter their (quite frankly) suicidal immigration policy then I’m sure we’d all get along just fine.
Incidentally, the post by Cresswell is, I’m pretty sure, a red herring to divert attention away from the Libz’ reverse takeover of ACT. The lady doth protest a little too much. Either that or he’s pissed that Perigo and Brash have stolen one of their three key policies (pretty much guaranteed to take their core vote from 997 down to 664).

The most important thing for these Libz is to keep intact their sense of ideological purity and moral superiority – the success of the party is irrelevant . . it’s a plaything, look how they all take turns being leader . . . the entire party membership could sit together at two dinner tables. And the way both Perigo & Cresswell regularly obsess over the Christian religion makes me wonder if they’re both a couple of queers (seriously)
