Liberal media pundits have been all over the news lately expressing their views on what should happen in Libya now that Gaddafi has met his end. I’ve been irritated by their uniform ignorance in that in the main, they’ve been cheering for the establishment of a new “liberal” government.
The real outcome has confirmed once again that when it comes to reality, liberals are on another planet. The NY Post brings home the harsh truth of what’s happening in Libya-
“As an Islamic country, we adopted sharia as the principal law,” decreed Mustafa Abdul-Jalil, head of the National Transition Council. “Any law that violates sharia is null and void legally.”
The revolutionary then told thousands in Benghazi, the birthplace of the uprising that ended last week with strongman Moammar Khadafy’s death, that all men will again be free to take up to four brides without restriction.
Bet that last bit is something that will give all the female liberals in the media something to really cheer for.

Isn’t it a good thing Gaddafi was removed? Since he was a socialist and funded numerous terrorist groups around the world.

Was there really any doubt about this? I mean, the “rebels” composition included many al Qaeda terrorists. Libya is the next Iran. Or maybe even the next Afghanistan.

US Rockets backed getting rid of Gaddafi in favour of this, and it was always going to go this way. I sad as much back in March this year, as did KG on the same thread: Was the intervention in Libya justified?.
Liberal progressives are always imagining that every state will become “westernized” if you just help them. History continues to prove otherwise, whether it is billions of dollars poured into Egypt only to see continuing persecution of Christian minorities, or blood and money into Afghanistan only to see tribalism revert soon after.
