I’m taking a break from blogging for the next few days and will be back in the New Year.
I’d like to say thank you again to all of the readers who have shown such great support for the blog, which is now about one year old and has done far better than I ever expected.
I’d like to apologise for the breaks in transmission during the year, but sometimes my work takes me into places where I can’t get access, or becomes so demanding I just do not have the headspace for blogging. Nevertheless, I’ll keep trying to continue with my objective which is to encourage criticism of the National Party, or all of the NZ “center right”, from a right wing perspective.
There’s plenty of criticism of the left, but very little of the so called “right”.
My view is that the NZ “right” isn’t right, for if it was, we would never have ended up where we are now. The traditional Conservative NZer has been out gamed by the cultural Marxists for four or five decades, and its time that was corrected.
So if you agree with me on that view, I look forward to your company again next year, and joining me in the thankless task of trying to drag NZ out of the Marxist mire.
So Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all, and once again, my thanks for your kind and generous support through the year. See you all in 2012.

Merry Christmas RB. This blog has gone well. Most of us conservatives want roughly the same thing but see different ways to achieve these goals and usually these different views are respected. Well done.

Thanks for all your hard work over the last year, Red, and your tolerance in allowing me to get my thoughts out there through your blog. And while we all might come from slightly different perspectives our primary objectives are essentially the same – that we might influence the thinking of others and thereby have a better and freer society.
I really appreciated your linking a healthy and free society with the moral fabric of that same society. Most of your regulars know these things are intrinsically linked: A society with no moral foundation will always lead to tyranny.
I pray that you and yours will have a blessed Christmas, and that you will know Christ’s peace in the coming New Year.
Amen and amen.
Merry Christmas to all regular readers and commenters.

Now consider the forward Merry Christmas mega paradigm.
The aim of both socialist parties in NZ is ‘monetary union’ with Australia.
That way they get blamed for zero monetary ‘mismanagement’…..interest rates are set over there.
They can’t wait.
The AU$, second last refuge of the incompetent, is coming to you …soonish.
