The Collaborators

Vichy Executions

Recently a notable “center right” blog produced a list predicting the Cabinet Ministers that would be appointed if the left bloc (Greens/Labour) managed to win the next NZ election, an event that sadly looks more probable every day.

Some said the publication of this list would serve to scare NZers into voting for the National Party. I don’t know about that, but if so, its an idea that would have met the approval of the faceless left wing “media advisors” who surround John Key, and who being barren of political principle, would always prefer easy scaremongering over outspoken and confrontational debate.

When I say left wing I say that because there is not really any ‘right wing” faction within National. Political tussles occur within the party of course, but just like each 3 year election, its basically just a difference of opinion between leftists who merely argue over how to do socialism better than the further left faction called Labour.

The point is that the predictions in the list have a good chance of bearing fruit. So, what can we draw from the fact that NZ is probably about to be governed by a collection of communists and statist nutbars far worse than what we have now? Many things really, but I suggest the most obvious point is that the National Party has failed.

Why have they failed? There are probably as many answers to this question as there are voters, but I think it is because the left have won the information/ cultural war. However as I write that sentence, I question the use of the word “war”. It suggests battle, and sacrifice and courage, events that have not recently been part of the political scene in NZ.

Reality is there is no force opposing the armies and generals of the left. No real battle. No chance for courage or sacrifice or heroes or leadership. What we have is more like an occupation. The battle is lost, those who represent themselves as being opposed to the left have completely capitulated, and they govern, like the Vichy government in France during WWII, as puppets of the victors. The National Party dances to the tune of the cultural and political icons of the left. Karl Marx. John Maynard Keynes. Antonio Gramsci. Mao Zedong.

Progressive guards man the cultural watchtowers and ensure that any sign of rebellion, as faint and lily livered as it usually is, is quickly crushed. Academics, newspaper editors, commentators, journalists, TV personalities, and various other self appointed social guardians quickly suppress any event that suggests their hold on power may be under threat. Doubt the truth of this claim? Look at the vilification directed at Colin Craig. Look how David Garret (as meek and mild as his infractions were) was hounded out of parliament. They thought the vacuous Paul Henry was a threat and look what happened to him. Think of the fear that produced the statement that rests in the sidebar of this blog. From an unnamed “Senior National Party spokesman”-

“conservatives are viewed as not in touch with middle NZ and not in line with John Key’s broader image”

This from a party whose founding principles (see sidebar) are basically the embodiment of Conservatism. So much have these spineless left wing flunkies yielded, and like the Vichy government, now they merely seek to impose the will of the real rulers upon a cowed and defeated population. Who like the French did way back, support the government of John “PĂ©tain” Key because the alternative is so much worse.

I managed to scrape together the time to watch a couple of parliamentary broadcasts this week, but I couldn’t watch for more than a few minutes. It turns my stomach to see such trifling pissant squabbling over which is the best socialist policy, and who is doing socialism better, while our country goes daily further down the tube to the extent that we now face the dire reality of an outright Communist government.

And meanwhile, the so called “right wing” just keep on cringing, tugging their forelocks in weak and pitiful submission to the subversive forces that really control our political fortunes and have always been inexorably creeping forward to the social condition we now suffer, and the even worse condition that comes after the next election. Still the same simpering smug fools continue to support the Vichy Key government. Still the Vichy Key government fails to speak out for freedom, and individual liberty and worse, they ridicule and disavow the ideals outlined in their founding principles.

You can see their supporters in the comments section of Whale’s blog, or Kiwiblog or other recognised “right of center” publications. Frantically supporting John “PĂ©tain” Key and the Vichy Nationals only because the alternative is worse. Ganging up and attempting to ridicule or distract anyone who expresses unauthorised or unapproved views. Baying like the hounds of the jack booted invaders who enforced the National Socialist State in France under the government of Marshall Philippe PĂ©tain. Helping their oppressors suppress ideas that challenge the propaganda wall of the left.

In the US they’re called RINOs. In the UK, (as in NZ) they’ve yet to earn a name, but I reckon cowards is good enough, especially after witnessing there the weak reaction to the horrifying event where a family of children were removed from their foster parents care because the parents were supporters of Nigel Farage’s UK Independence party. David Cameron is just another John Key and another collaborator.

They will both be remembered for their abject timidity in squandering the political capital that brought them to power and failing to light the fire of revolution that was so desperately needed.

What is the answer? How do we escape from this condition? There is no approaching allied army to free us. We have few options. We have to continue to speak out and confront the watch tower guards in the employ of the totalitarians and eventually we will escape the socialist nightmare. One thing that is painfully obvious is that there is no point whatsoever in supporting the current National Party. It is their failure to fight and their willing submission to the left that is at the bottom of this whole damn disaster.

Sometimes I wonder if is would be such a bad idea to vote for the communists and give the sheeple a good taste of their medicine. It would serve two purposes. First, it would bring about the economic collapse which is surely coming. Only the greens and labor will get us there faster, and second it would possibly open people’s eyes to how dangerous they really are. Imagine Russel Norman for finance minister. What a nightmare!

“The reality is that there is no force opposing the armies and generals of the left”

That’s because it wasn’t a battle but a coup d-etat. Only one side even realised there was a war on. And to continue the metaphor, I guess that means it is over to good people like you and I to operate as the French Resistance.

And, Pix, I think it’s high time Kiwis found out that elections have consequences. Just like Americans will find when Boehner and the RINOs surrender to Obama. A vote for the watermelons to hasten the collapse is not as silly an idea as it sounds!

Great post. I’ve put up a headline and a link over at CR.
The problem with the collapse, when it comes, is that what money and property those who worked for it still have left will be seized in order to continue buying some semblance of peace from the welfare class.
Already, welfare is in a lot of cases a form of bribery in order to buy a minimal level of compliance with civilized norms, and any government in power will keep that going to the bitter end–and beyond. Because by that time their personal safety will depend on doing so.

Yep, you’re right there and the usual scum, like Nick Clegg for example, are at the forefront of such strategies.

Thanks muchly for the link BTW.

That was music; music to my ears but noise to the majority—the sad reality.

Redbaiter, you know the factual truth, but the majority have been bought and paid for. And as Don Brash said—love him or hate him—John Key has done nothing with the political capital he had at the beginning of his tenure. Instead he has gone completely to the left, or was he there in the first place? I would suggest that at least 50% of the National Party are in fact leftists, and John Key is one of them, leading them. What we have got to remind ourselves of is the fact that John Key was raised in state housing, and more often than not one doesn’t fall far from the tree.

What we have in New Zealand is the same as everywhere in the west including America; the left buy the votes and the gutless, so-called right follow suit. Essentially democracy has collapsed, so where to from here? I can see two options; let it collapse and pick up guns, or pick up guns now as Anders Breivik did. I’m afraid to say this but we are going to see a lot more of the latter—it’s inevitable. I would prefer the democratic route, but when there is no democracy what other avenue is there? Please don’t read this as me endorsing or advocating the Breivik avenue; I am merely pointing out fact.

I personally hope the Conservative Party can get traction, but it’s going to be an uphill battle for them, and I am unsure if they quite have the political nous that you have at this point. As much as I like Colin Craig, I really don’t think he is quite aggressive enough. Craig to me seems to be a very nice guy and his head is in the right place, but to beat these bastards you’ve got to get in there and get your hands dirty; you’ve got to hit them head on, hard and nasty; you’ve got to be as aggressive as Nigel Farage, and Craig doesn’t appear to have those traits. It simply isn’t a matter of thinking in the right way, it is a matter of conveying the message in a way that resonates.

    Sorry for the rant

A great rant Terry, and we think alike on many things. No need to apologise mate. Any time feel free 🙂

There is nothing to be done but keep putting the word out. I started on usenet more than a decade ago and then drifted into the blogosphere, and in that time I have seen substantial change in political perceptions. I spent all of those years attacking the hard left before I realised they are not the real problem. The problem is the soft right.

The John Keys and the Vichy traitors of the National Party who brazenly show contempt for the ideals that the party was founded to represent. And they replace adherence to those ideas with gutless obeisance to the forces who represent the counter to those ideals.

    The absolute gutless bastards.

They are the real problem, but since I have shifted my attack to the traitors, I have been heartened to see a gradual awakening among readers and bloggers and more and more are slowly but surely coming to the same conclusion. We just have to keep putting the message out there and slowly building support. God knows the damn ideologically bankrupt losers calling themselves the National Party won’t ever do it.

Please don’t read this as me endorsing or advocating the Breivik avenue; I am merely pointing out fact.

Breivik is a deranged coward who shot and murdered unarmed citizens. It is always so notable that these self declared revolutionary “heroes” will only attack unarmed targets, and are never seen in places where they might find someone ready to shoot back at them.

However, I take your point. It is the collapse of democracy (to use your term) that provides the framework for such lunatics to grow in. The effective one party state and the denial of avenues for political expression within mainstream discussion forums such as newspapers and broadcasting provides fallow ground for the Breiviks among us to grow in.

Executing unarmed citizens though is the historical province of the left.

I do believe however that there is a real chance of civil war in the US, and in such an event I would be more than willing to go there and help patriots such as Ronbo restore the US to liberty and constitutional government.

Reality is knocking at your door.
Cameron and Key are a product of the vast majority demographic who want cheques in the mail from govt sourced from other people’s money.
They will ‘give up’ much for that….without having to give up anything at all; what the vast majority have to sacrifice they neither care about nor use.

Govt says give me all that horrible personal responsibility and I will feed you and keep you in exchange for necessary control.

It’s what they want, time to understand its permanent.

You do understand, don’t you my petals, that the latest massive round of part Maori “settlements” amount to nought except a cash transfer.

As was the case with “settlements” in the 1950s when the value of the resource / item “settled” increases the demand for a new cash “settlement ” 40 years later is inevitable and a winner.

I don’t pay taxes in NZ so I can laugh my arse off at the minuscule sophistication of the NZ “pakeha” ( see pig’s mouth ).

Every part Maori wants your kids complying just like you……and the education system delivers.

Compared to the evils of “co-governance”, which is often part of these settlements, the cash is almost trivial.

Cowed, unsophisticated pakeha don’t quite get it.

Key thinks these are “settlements”, part Maori know it’s merely another endless rent instalment paid by suckers, that the same “settlements ” will be settled again in 40 years

It’s the best reason to go West, where part Maori are just another ethnic group among 120 others.
