Of the mainly progressive bloggers who so enthusiastically supported the far left Lousia Wall’s bill to redefine marriage perhaps the most enthusiastic of all was Whale Oil. A search on his site for posts with the phrase “gay marriage” garners 318 hits and “marriage equality” another 270. Meanwhile in Montenegro…
“At the first known pride event in the Balkan enclave, angry demonstrators outnumbered those marching for gay rights by at least 10 to 1, according to news reports of the clash in the Adriatic Sea resort of Budva.”
Montenegro,is apparently “one of the most conservative and macho bastions in the tradition-bound region” Whale wouldn’t fit in at all then would he?
Apparently the protests are threatening the region’s acceptance into the EU. That’ll teach em’ right? Story

It would seem that some of these Slavic countries are realizing that when you give homosexual activists an inch, they take a mile.

Yeah, well speaking for myself, previously I had no particular beef with queers, but I’ve lost any sympathy I might have had for their cause after their assault on traditional marriage. Insulting arrogant statists.
