I have to laugh at the way the extreme left have enthusiastically embraced criticism of David Shearer as a mumbling idiot. They perceive Shearer as too right wing, and as they apparently haven’t observed what happens when you select an extreme leftist like Julia Gillard, they want to install David Cunliffe as leader.

Shearer may be today a bumbling mumbling hesitant and unsure fool, but a big part of making him like that has been the constant undermining of his self confidence by Labour’s extreme left. Any sports coach will tell you that attacking a player’s self confidence will only worsen any flaws they might already possess.

Go ahead morons. Make Labour’s Great Red Hope your leader. I’ve got no problems with leftist idiots learning about life’s realities the hard way.
