College Republicans invited Breitbart Tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos to an address at De Paul university. The event was shut down after black SJW activists invaded the stage, assaulted the speakers and stole their microphones.

So called security at the event, which Milo had party paid for himself, stood and watched while this happened.

The whole event was a brilliantly topical illustration of the sickness that pervades academia across the West today.

One good thing has come from it, in that Sociology Professor Ada Cheng has today resigned. From her bio-

Her areas of research and teaching interest include gender, sexuality/sexual identity and practices, Asian American studies, feminisms, masculinity study, immigration/global migration, citizenship, globalization, and qualitative methods.

In her resignation letter, the Professor slammed the concept of freedom of speech, and attacked the idea that universities should be “neutral platforms for ‘equal’ exchanges of ideas”.
