George Orwell once wrote

“in a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act”.

A revolutionary died yesterday. His enemies are celebrating in a sick depraved dance of joy and it raises the question-

Why, in our society today, is there so much hate for someone whose mission was to help us all by telling the truth?

Why indeed? Hate for truth is at an unprecedented level and we need to understand why this is so. So the problem can be fixed.

You can see it in stark relief on social media where it is teaming down. A sick teaming mass of hatred that should make any civilised person ashamed and perhaps even afraid. For what it says about the degeneration of our society.

And the striking thing about all of this hate is that its all expressed in the same language. Which is the best clue we have as to why the problem exists, and where it came from. This cancer that was not there a few decades ago.

The language is the best clue.

Homophobic. Islamophobic. Sexist. Racist. Hater.

Those celebrating Bill Leak’s death all use these words prolifically. And the source of these words, which one hardly ever heard a few decades ago, is our post modernist education system. Or our culturally Marxist media. Or our progressive government bureaucracies.

(For example Gillian Triggs and her Australian Human Rights Commission. Or in New Zealand, the same government agency headed up by Susan Devoy.)

There is a dangerous irony here. Those who have promoted this culture of degenerate intolerance have done so while posturing as society’s defenders. They have told us that their mission is to stamp out hate.

The reaction to Bill Leak’s death is proof positive that they have actually achieved the direct opposite. Our society is teeming with hate and intolerance for anyone who is not part of what progressives perceive as the approved cultural norm. And here is the real concern.

Bill Leak was hated because he told the truth. Our societies today have been made sick and depraved and degenerate by Gillian Triggs and her despicable ilk, and the reality of this allegation lies in their hatred for truth. Bill Leak’s cartoon on the booze culture destroying Aboriginal communities did more for indigenous people in one day than years of moral posturing from any Human Rights Commission. Because it speaks truth.

For drawing the cartoon, the Human Rights Commission charged Bill with an offence under section 18C of the Act.

After publication of the above cartoon the public and official response was so volatile, Bill drew a second.

A second quotation comes from the socialist writer Erich Fromme. Most likely when he wrote this he was not thinking of the inverted society we have today. But its perfectly accurate.

“The fact that millions of people share the same vices does not make these vices virtues, the fact that they share so many errors does not make the errors to be truths, and the fact that millions of people share the same form of mental pathology does not make these people sane.”

Bill Leak’s death will serve as a catalyst that will solidify and strengthen the resolve of those who oppose the culture of lies and hate that the Progressives and Cultural Marxists and Post Modernists have brought upon us. And that opposition is sorely needed for there has been so little of it. Our parliaments and governments, those institutions that should protect us, have been captured and converted. There is no protection there. Very few of our elected representatives seek the truth or to expose the deceit the way Bill Leak did.

We needed Bill so badly and now he’s gone. Just like that. Brightly and bravely celebrating the publication of his new book one day, and two days later gone from our lives. One has to wonder what part the stress of dealing with Gillian Triggs, her lies, and the persecution by her govt department played in Bill’s sudden death from heart failure.

While Bill Leak’s death has brought such sadness to many of us, it has also starkly exposed just how sick our societies have become due to progressive political influence. We have to hope that this realisation spurs the rebellion to greater efforts.

We simply have to repair our culture. It must be taken back from the depraved and degenerate forces that now control it, and we will press on in this mission with the added resolve that Bill Leak’s posthumous heroism has awoken in us.
