MSNBC recently suspended a couple of their anchor people for making undeclared donations to the Democrat Party. Only small amounts. Couple of grand here, couple of hundred there. Kind of weird really that they were disciplined. All of their presenters are screaming leftist extremists. They’re already doing far more to help the Democrats than the donation of a few piffling amounts of cash will do. And its absolute chicken feed compared to the latest revelations of how MSNBC has benefited from Obama stimulus money.

MSNBC is owned by General Electric. GE got $US116 million in bailout money. But wait- that’s not all. They also received $US16 billion in loans from the Obama administration. Yep, that is right. $US16 billion..!!!

I’ll let Rush Limbaugh tell the story- “Now, in the case of General Electric, let’s connect some dots. The CEO of GE is Jeffrey Immelt. Jeffrey Immelt sits on one of Obama’s economic commissions. CNBC is owned by General Electric. That business news channel has been obviously in the tank for Obama and regime economic policy since he was sworn in. General Electric has been big in this “green” technology movement and every other week it seems all of GE from NBC to CNBC to MSNBC “goes green.” Now we find out that the regime found its way on the General Electric board in a sense. ”

Bottom line- The Obama administration has bought itself on to the board of the company that just happens to own and run a series of television broadcasters that are all wildly in the tank for Obama and his policies.

You think this is bad. Its the tip of the iceberg. We are talking $US3 trillion in total bailout money and it’s all been distributed in such a politically charged manner it is remarkable that the media seems to have missed the corruption and cronyism completely. But hell, when Obama’s got a $16 billion stake in your company, and that is the money that’s keeping it afloat, who’s going to be dumb enough to rock the damn boat right?
