The establishment has just come short of accusing the people of being soccer hooligans. This is after they broke their promise of not lifting tertiary fees. what do they expect. Anyway, Wekkend Herald this morning, Prince Charles and his wife were pelted by students whilst arriving in the Rolls at a gala performance. Charles huddled over his wife as windows were smothered with eggs anad glass was broken.
The world’s media are all concentrating on the Royal aspect ,much of the media would enjoy this act of rebellion as they hate the monarchy and the traditional values it stands for. It also lends these hooligans an almost legitimate revolutionary air.
However what no one could stand for (except extreme leftists ) is disrespect for the war dead. See the following story and the priveliged hooligan perpetrator.
The other thing I wanted to say was ,since when was it a crime to love your country?
I reckon since the social democrats and “cultural Left” were allowed to become so strong.
