The Progressives’ Vile Attempts At Thought Control MUST BE STOPPED!!

Andrew Bolt is an opinion columnist for the Herald Sun in Australia. He goes to court on Monday to defend himself against a charge of contravening Australia’s Racial Discrimination Act. This is one of these vile examples of legislation that the Progressives impose upon us by means of their current political and social ascendancy, an ascendancy that causes us to daily descend to greater depths of social degradation. A group of Aborigines claim that Bolt “offended, insulted and humiliated” them. Amazing isn’t it, that in past decades people actually just got on with their lives if they were ever “offended, insulted and humiliated”, but since we’ve been in the grip of the Progressives, its an event that must have far reaching legal consequences.

How did Bolt find himself in this situation? He expressed in his newspaper column the opinion that there are more than a few light skinned citizens who don’t look the slightest bit aboriginal, but self identify as such, and that by so doing, they create division in society and entrench differences based on race. He also said they take unfair advantage of privileges afforded more legitimate Aborigines.

This is all quite true, which would be a defense if this was defamation. It isn’t though. The court hearing is a vile manifestation of the Progressive’s obsession to mould all of thought and speech into a pseudo liberal social conglomerate they they approve of. If you cannot say or write or otherwise communicate a particular perspective on an issue, then of course you can’t think it either. No matter how many times I reflect on this situation I have to ask myself in an increasingly incredulous state of mind- How the damn hell did we end up here? How the hell did Western civilization with all of its supposed sophistication and erudition and education end up with a law that is as bad as anything any fascist Nazi totalitarian scum ever dreamed up at any time in our past?

I’ll tell you. Because we are infested by cowardice. Our leaders are cowards, and we are cowards for tolerating them as leaders. We allowed these vile progressive scum to bully their way to ascendancy and implement these atrocious totalitarian laws. How many times do we hear the refrain that we are “lucky to live in a free country?” We do not live in any such place. We live in a despicable sewer where the most contemptible people posture as our social betters and leaders.

Whether Bolt is convicted or not matters not, for the very fact that such legislation exists and that he has been forced to defend himself identifies our disgraceful situation. To me this isn’t about what Bolt said being true or not, even though I believe it without a shred of doubt to be true, its about living in a society where evil people and their putrid uncivilized ideas are ascendant, and where such a state of affairs is meekly tolerated. Never do our journalists or our newspapers or our broadcasters or our social commentators or our politicians speak out about this loathsome condition. They all, in abject betrayal of the principles that set our civilisation apart from the barbarians, accept it as the way things are today.

I call for all who share my sentiments to increase their efforts to shine light on these revolting laws. We absolutely must show more contempt and scorn towards those who protect and design and operate within this Potemkin framework. Those who cloak their evil in the disguise of benevolence. We must change this morally corrupt and repugnant situation. It is unbelievable actually, that it has got to this, and that we have tolerated it for so long. Our forefathers did not die on the battlefields of Europe or Asia or the Pacific so that these arrogant elitist swine could force these laws upon us.

While we still may, your words need to be relayed, they need to be echoed. I take my duty to encourage the establishment of the blogs as leaders in the new Fourth Estate seriously. And your words in defense of freedom of speech are absolutely necessary. I wish I now had your energy RB. I also wish that many years ago I had my current sense of urgency. I pray for your safety and success.

Thank you for your encouragement Pascal. All over the west, these vile laws are seeing people charged with the crime of truth. Canada went after Mark Stein (and others). In Europe we have Geert Wilders (and others). In the UK the cases referred to above. We are infested with a vile insidious poison and at the root of that infestation are the ideas of the Progressives. They surely are a curse upon our civilisation.

There are a group of white descended aborigines in the inner city flying the Aboriginal flag. The main stram Aborines do not accept them. So the mainstream Aborigines are offending these people.

There’s you answer on “How?” RB.

Did I post that explanation here?

“They surely are a curse upon our civilisation.”

Indeed they are RB. Those who abide by a leftist doctrine are by their very ideology destructive of the native culture and morals. This is why I have termed their ideology a societal acid. The destruction that they do is cumulative and nearly permanent and that is ultimately the goal of the progressive movement in order to effect a permanent change in the governments of the West.

As an aside, I have long wondered what the significance of your avatar is, if any. As a Southerner, I am very familiar with the battle flag of the Confederacy and I sense that there is a story behind it. I would very much appreciate hearing why you selected this emblem if you would be willing to indulge my curiosity.

This story needs to be front page news in every newspaper and TV news broadcast in this country. Will that happen,?Hell no .Oprah Bloody Winfree is the “news” from across the ditch. I despair.

You’re spot on with the Wilders and Stein examples. Who bring these cases.? Activist Muslims and/or Human Rights Commissions. These are the enemies of free speech and traditional western values.
It’s ironic that this story follows a minor free speech victory in the UK. Sadly that appears the exception. I see a teacher was arrested, charged and convicted there recently for ,while breaking up a row between some lowlife bullies ,calling some one “white trash”. The teachers body involved then weighed in saying her comments were outwith their commitment to “diversity and equality” whatever that is!The west has lost it’s common sense on the altar of leftist ideology,PC ness, and simple pandering to ridiculous utopian notions of what life is all about.Had hoped a Conservative victory in Britain would have changed things. Forlorn.
Looking at this idealistic touchy feely crap you’d never think that we lived on a tiny molten rock with an unstable crust hurtling thru space.

Here again RB, you provided me with another opportunity to convince you that what I suggested to you is worth pursuing.

    LOOK AT YOUR TITLE.

The Progressives’ Vile Attempts At Thought Control MUST BE STOPPED!!

Thought Control starts with word control.

Look at Progressives — no strike that — the long entrenched old school, power-mad subversives.

    😀
You need not use strike out html, you can go out of your word to mock the bloodsuckers. 😆

Well, I have some personal attachments to the South by way of old friendships, but that was not really the reason I use it as an avatar. I see the Confederate flag as symbolising the fight we are in, wherein we challenge the social supremacy of the Progressives, and challenge their assumption of the high moral ground and their unwavering belief in their own correctness. I want them to know I reject entirely their worldview, and if they are annoyed by the site of the Confederate flag, and want it out of sight and out of mind, then all the more reason to fly it.

My first connection with Americans was working for a Louisiana company in Saudi Arabia. We made moonshine in the desert. I have spent some time in Texas, and loved the place. Most of my time in the US was spent in the country and with country people. I think they are some of the finest in the world. Hard working, extremely skilled at whatever they do, responsible, humorous and engaging. Used to sit around in Sunset (Texas) some nights with a bunch of old guys who whittled, and they were so dry but would still have me in stitches most of the time. LA and NY I wouldn’t give you ten cents for.

Thank you for indulging me RB, you describe an America that I know well. I knew when I saw your avatar that there was a story behind it and I was right. As far as the reasons behind its use, I believe that the men who fought under that banner did so for essentially the same reason that you use it. Deo Vindice my friend.

    1. I’m amazed by the vigorous and spot-on comment about a the nonsense legislation that has a person condemned because all it takes is someone to feel ‘hurt’ by what you say.
    2. The deceptiveness in this Racial Discrimination legislation is that it aims to criminalize expression of opinions, as is done in Germany, but not yet in British Common law countries.
    3. However, moves are afoot to do just that by splitting free expression into free speech and hate speech, thereby, for example in the USA, defeating the protection of the First Amendment, which guarantees vigorous exchanges of ideas. Notice in the media how a host of ‘hate crimes’ are mentioned again and again.
    4. I know what I’m talking about because I’ve been labelled a ‘hater’, ‘Holocaust denier’, ‘antisemite’, ‘racist’, ‘Nazi’ – all words are used to stifle debate on important subjects that any concerned citizen should be able to discuss in a free and democratic country.
    5. When I was knocked over in Germany in December 1999, after serving 7 months in prison, then when in 2000, 2002 and 2003 I was found guilty before HREOC and the Federal Court of Australia in a summary judgment made without my having had the opportunity to test the matters of fact that allegedly caused grievous hurt to the complainant, and when I was found guilty of contempt of court and served my 3 months prison sentence in August-November 2009, Andrew Bolt remained silent, as did most of his vocal social commentators.
    6. The media took up the Jewish cry that I did not deserve to be given any human rights protection. Why not? I refuse to believe in the official Holocaust-Shoah narrative. That meant the legal books could be fiddled and I remained unprotected from those who lack the moral and intellectual integrity to investigate what I am on about.
    7. Instead, the usual shut-up words are used to stifle open debate – hater, Holocaust denier, antisemite, racist, Nazi – and to deflect and protect – from opening up to a most necessary historical discussion where truth is my defence.
    Cheers

Dr. Toben. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate the fact that you did not use my blog to pursue any argument regarding the reality or otherwise of the holocaust, but only to express an opinion about freedom of expression. If all the events you recount above did in fact occur only because of your expression of opinion, I find it as appalling as Andrew Bolt’s predicament.

For your information I argued strongly against the NZ’s government’s ban on the entry of David Irving to the country. Not because I have any sympathy for his views, but because no matter how unwelcome they may be to some, we cannot ever cross the line and prevent people arguing a point based on the subjective view that their argument is “offensive”.

So called “offensive” arguments can be dealt with in many ways, but they should not be subject to legal action by the state.

In a truly free society we have the right to be BOTH offensive AND offended.

And while we should aim not to offend for the sake of it, often when we speak out in truth we do offend those who despise truth.

In fact indifference is our enemy – if we offend someone, or if they strongly agree with our views, then at least we know the message has hit home.

Openly and honestly expressed views should always be our aim – for that is what is required if we are to engage with others effectively – either to open their eyes to truth, or to expose them as those who hate truth and freedom.

Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
