Four days ago, on a call in to KQRS radio, Hollywood Reporter Mike Evans made the straight up claim that he had recently talked to his good friend the Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie personally and that Abercrombie told him there was no proof of Obama’s birth in Hawaii.
“Yesterday talking in Neal’s office, Neal says that he searched everywhere using his power as governor at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Queen’s Hospital, the only place that kids were born in Hawaii back when Barack was born, … there is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii.”
Evan’s then go on with a lot of other detail all phrased in language indicating the conversation took place with Neil Abercrombie in person in the last few days. Then a day after this revelation, Evans back tracked on his claim of talking personally to the Governor. He said he had “mispoke” and that he really meant to say that he had spoken only to the Governor’s office. He said he hadn’t spoken to Neil Abercrombie since the election. He said he’d only mispoke on the one occasion when he was talking to Radio KQRS.
“I was on 34 radio stations that morning. That was the only station where I said, instead of saying ‘the hospital said there’s no birth certificate’ I misspoke and said Neil said that,” Evans told Fox. “I misspoke and I apologize for that. I apologize to Neil.”
But internet sleuths have tracked down a number of other similar call-ins Mike Evans made to other radio stations that same day, wherein he made the same claim of talking directly to Neil Abercrombie “yesterday”. In one case, the comments were made to 945 KOOL FM radio in Phoenix, where a podcast reveals Evans saying-
“Yesterday I talked to Neil … said he has searched everywhere using his power as governor … there is no Barack Obama birth certificate. “I asked what does that mean, he says it could be a big controversy when the election takes place.”
And on radio station KLBJ Evans is recorded saying this-
“Yesterday I talked to Neil. Said that he searched everywhere using all of his power as governor. Looked at Kapi’olani Womens Childrens Hospital and Queens Medical Center where children were born back in that day. And he said, ‘Mike, there is no Barack Obama birth certificate.”
When confronted with the second and third recordings of him saying the same thing, Evans had only this lame response-
“I said I talked to Neil’s office. I didn’t say I talked to Neil. I was never able to get hold of the governor,” he said.
The question remains. Why would a reporter whose working reputation relies upon his credibility suddenly make a liar out of himself? Just another brick in the wall of mystery and subterfuge and fraud that surrounds Obama’s presidency.

No mention of any of this in our press but then our local rag is wet with the editors cum when he harps on about the anointed one. Fuck old Barry would have to grow a set of horns, turn red and pick his teeth with his tail before our MSM could even acknowledge the sun may not shine out of his arse. These progressive come liberals come socialists are thugs that are playing for keeps, while even more conservative commentators are afraid to address the issue least they be branded wacko

Here’s my take on Evans. He saw the drudge article, knew he had an close inside contact (as he says in one of the clips), called up Neil, got an inside scoup from his friend, figured the cat was out of the bag anyway, and got his foot in on what was looking to be one of the biggest breaking stories of our generation.
A day or two passes, the story changes from a lack of long form, to a lack of ability to produce documents due to the law, and who knows what kind of calls/emails Evans gets from the Obama admin/Neil telling him to fix his mess. In fact, I would be surprised if Neil didn’t call him and tell him that conversation they had was personal.
It’s VERY clear Evans was excited to release this information in his segment, he even stepped out of his box to do it, and quite honestly, I hardly blame him for doing that. But to flat out lie about it a few days later… I honestly wonder what kind of threats he faced.

Thanks you for your kind comments Brian, and yep, I get exactly the same feelings. I have to wonder if Abercrombie ever really understood the issue, and if he knew what he was getting himself into. I think he went into it thinking that the stuff was there to qualify Obama, and was shocked to find out it wasn’t. That’s the kind of thing that happens if your only source of information is the mainstream media.
