Much merriment was enjoyed on the Dim Post yesterday over my post addressing communist party strategies to obtain power within a democracy that is aggressively opposed to them. The blinkered half educated chattering classes there would have no answer to the most recent example of the truth of my analysis, namely the gradual communist party takeover of South Africa, a country that was one of the world’s richest, and ruled by a powerful and anti-communist regime.
As I pointed out in my post below, the left know not what they are, because they’re all the same. Frogs in a slowly warming pot with no reference points outside the pot to compare the temperature. The paragraph below comes from a recent press release from the Communist Party USA. (Hat tip New Zeal) It could have been written by any number of our left wing bloggers here in NZ, or any of their commenters.
“The Republicans are no ordinary opposition party with whom the Democrats can have amicable and respectful differences. They are racist, anti-labor, anti-democratic extremists, beholden to fascist-minded billionaires. They are hell-bent on wrecking the economic security of working people and turning the government into an open tool for corporate plunder.”
The left of the NZ blogosphere, in their abject ignorance, just do not know what they really are, and where lies the font of their ideology.
Update- On reflection, maybe some of them know quite well enough.

I noticed none of them even attempted to address the issues you raised, Red. Just straight into their usual smears and ad hominem attack. A complete inability to think critically, or, as you said, “maybe some of them know quite well enough”.

There have to be Judas goats in that herd for them to be so completely devoid of skepticism for those who have the force of law at their beck and cal. They have been well trained to save all their contumely for those who warn of centralized powers. A form of Stockholm syndrome? Maybe. There are considerable penalties to be suffered for making even minor independently conservative statements. Political Cowering works.
