I read a story this morning on how the Tea Party of Richmond Virginia is seeking a refund of the $10,000 fee it was forced to pay for holding a rally in that city.
The OWS protesters have been camped in the city now for three weeks and have incurred no charges.
Richmond Tea Party spokeswoman Colleen Owens says it’s not fair that her group had to pay fees for permits, portable toilets, police presence and emergency personnel. The group also had to purchase a $1 million insurance policy.
This event highlights a fact that is often overlooked. The left have infiltrated our media and our education system, and this is fairly well recognised. What is not so well recognised is how they have also infiltrated our bureaucracy.
Its another reason why freedom has been losing. The politicians we have elected in the expectation that they will free us from the ever closing pincers of the left have failed miserably, and not recognising the bureaucracy as the enemy is a big part of that failure.
We must elect politicians who understand that Government services, local and state and federal are almost completely controlled by socialists.
Our elected representatives must be well prepared and keen to fight the left wing bureaucrats. Otherwise, freedom will keep losing.

In many ways socialist politicians, and those who vote them into power, are simply a by-product of socialist bureaucrats who have infiltrated and corrupted the entire system.
And while we might eventually vote out bad politicians, these behind-the-scene bureaucrats
are never elected in and therefore can never be voted out; they are appointed, usually by like minded individuals, and therefore can only ever be fired from their positions of influence.
These evil manipulators are the root of the corrupt tree, and, like you stated Red, if we do not address the root cause, but only the symptoms [politicians], then nothing will ever change.
Of course if any conservative and principled MP were to enter the fray, and was ‘foolish’ enough to raise his head above the parapet, the Marxist and corrupt media would be there waiting to shoot him down through its usual smearing and innuendo.

We have become conditioned to accept certain groups are allowed to get away with certain behaviour.
We hear pollies etc saying these people have certain rights and so they tolerate them in our public spaces.
We all have the same rights (and responsibilities) but some people have more rights than others.
I know if I set up a tent in one of those places,without permission, my arse would be in court tomorrow.
Because they are smelly hippies with red flags they are allowed to get away with it.
One law for all,one standard of citizenship for every one.

Israelis and Spaniards have been protesting in this manner for months now,largely ignored by the international MSM. But the minute the protests hit Wall Street,it becomes a worthy worldwide movement against greed with university professors and leftist fellow travellers becoming all sage and giving their blessings. They truely are the useful idiots.

One of the best steps we can take is to forbid government workers from being a member of any union.

There is the principal of state picking on real people (nanna’s dog reg vs Hemi’s toddler-chomping pitbull, 5kph over limit etc) because it is easier.
No blood from a stoner.
But that’s just a-whole-nother level of hammering.
