I saw video of John Key walking out of a press conference yesterday where Labour Party propagandists posing as journalists were trying to beat up the taped conversation issue.
I thought Key’s lack of aggression was pitiful. Chris Christie would have told those media fakes where to go. Key’s repeating of the claim that he wanted to talk about the economy and trade just looked lame, and it was, and Key is.
Why didn’t Key go after these commie frauds? For example, he could have asked them why they are pursuing the matter of the tape with such vigour while they have completely failed to chase after the connection between watermelon Russell Norman and the cowards who defaced National’s billboards.
National need to wake up and treat the NZ media pack as what they really are, not just the left’s foot soldiers but the vanguard of their propaganda arm. They need to stop allowing these dirtbags to cow them, and expose these so called journalists to those members of the public who still do not realise the media pack in NZ are mostly fronting for the far left.
Newt Gingrich is getting plenty of mileage in the US out of attacking the media for their left wing bias. Pity the Nat’s leader didn’t have a modicum of the gumption and wit needed to do likewise here in New Zealand.
(BTW, I don’t support Gingrich, but he’s got the right approach to the media)

Oh, dear. Probably Key feels betrayed my this mob of hacks, slightly more radical left than himself.

The Nats were totally unprepared for the now obligatory attempted / manufactured bombshell two weeks out from the election . . . the Exclusive Brethren, The H-Fee, CuppaTeaGate etc. The Nats need to learn that they can’t appease or acquiesce to these leftists.

Erikter is possibly quite right.
Does John Key even believe the media is left wing?

Key is classic corporate politician. Head on confrontation is simply not in his genes.
However the indirect way in warfare is a hard-wired instinct.

Key was right to not get out of control and attack the media horde, no matter whether we think he should have. It would look unprofessional and “reactive”, and it is actually what the media wants – to goad him into saying/doing something they can then jump on. Why do what the media wants? The media WANT Key to explode about this, and i’m glad he is not giving the packwolves what they desperately want. Good on Key for not handing over permission to publish a private conversation too. Who do they think they are, DEMANDING the right to publish a private talk?
