Wukan- We’re with you!

To the brave people of the small Chinese fishing village of Wukan, we send this message. People in the west who have for years wanted freedom for China’s oppressed people are with you.

Stand firm against the Communist pigs who would enslave you at the point of a gun. You risk your life and you risk imprisonment, and you are REAL PROTESTERS as opposed to the demented left wing trash of the west’s Occupy movement, those snivelling bludging losers cheered on by cowardly Marxist subversives like Matt McCarten and Tapu Misa in NZ’s own treacherous Progressive broadsheet the NZ Herald.

The Financial Times reports-

Among the weekend demonstrations in the Chinese village of Wukan was one that featured a group of teenagers marching through an abandoned police station calling for free elections, from the local to the national level.

That gesture by school students was emblematic. A protest that began in late September with villagers demanding an investigation into the sale of communal land by corrupt local party officials to a well-connected businessman has snowballed in a once obscure fishing village of less than 15,000 people on the southern tip of China. This is no longer just a land dispute. People are now questioning the governance of the Communist party.

China’s censorship apparatus has been set in motion in order to suppress reports about an uprising that began several days ago. We bloggers in the west will do all we can to spread news on your brave protest. Reporters Without Borders claim that the following video of the protest was smuggled out of Wukan before the Communist party firewalled the village.

Further news from McClatchy-

Lin Zulian and Yang Semao are wanted men. The mayor of the city that oversees this farming and fishing village has publicly named the pair as main agitators of Wukan’s recent rebellion against the local government. Acting Shanwei Mayor Wu Zili vowed to crack down on them and their allies, according to state media.

Such a threat would terrify most Chinese in a nation infamous for police state tactics. But on Friday morning, both men stood in front of a crowd of thousands here and railed against local corruption.

“The officials are lying to the villagers,” Yang said, standing behind a large photograph of Xue Jinbo, a fellow advocate who died in police custody Sunday. A few minutes later, he burst into tears that were echoed by heaving sobs from the rows of people in front of him.

Let’s hope the brave people of Wukan turn their bushfire into a firestorm that sweeps China and brings death and destruction to the murderers and tyrants and totalitarians who have held the Chinese people at the point of a gun for so long.

Now, that’s courage! They have no chance, so we can only hope the protest grows so big the Chinese thug government has to back off.

RB, In relation to your comments about the NZ Herald, it makes one realize just how dire circumstances are. McCarten and Misa providing mainstream opinion countered and balanced by Coddington on the “right”

Yep. Did you read McCarten’s column? So full of inaccuracies and errors and distortions no responsible newspaper would publish it.

The only reason there could possibly be for publishing such fifth rate rubbish is that the Herald editors sympathize politically with these two Marxist scum.

And Coddington’s irrational rambling garbage is a counter???

    What a farce.

Not one real Conservative writer to be found in its pages.
