Best wishes for the Easter Break

I will be taking a break from blogging over the Easter holidays.

I’d like to take the opportunity to thank all of my readers for their support since I re-started my blog. As usual, I am surprised at your enthusiasm, but as always, grateful for and humbled by your support.

I hope you enjoy Easter with your families and friends and see you all next week.

  1. Have a great break, Red. I’m thrilled you’ve been back blogging again, and as Mr Blobby said, thank you for the opportunity to participate in the conversation.

  2. Enjoying the new blog! It does well to pick up the slack of so much of the NZ-centred internet media.
    Have a great Easter.

  3. Happy Easter Redbaiter – I echo the comments above.

Good blog posts and great bunch of commentators always worth reading. Sure beats having to “do battle” with jerks like Grief & The Hoodoo Man over on KB.

  4. Keep up the good work Red, NZ needs true progressives; those who see that the place is heading in the wrong direction, turn around, and try a better path, which in the end will be the conservative path.

  6. Hope you all had a great Easter.

Thanks so much for the encouragement guys and girls. You don’t know what it means to me.

Your comments on any issue are always greatly appreciated too.

EAD- You’re right about Kommieblog. Had a look at Mondays GD tonight. The usual Kommies and loons flooding the place. Just a complete and utter madhouse. You could count the sane people there on your fingers and toes.

    • The real filth came out in the comments following ProgBlogger Farrar’s breathless wittering on Barry’s capitulation to the Mad Mullahs in Tehran. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much Israel-hatred – I know Kiwis are generally a well-indoctrinated group of progressive sheep, but I’d no idea there was so much stupid on the question of Israel!

      • Yes, Kiwiblog is so often most appallling (along with Whaleoil) for the assumption they represent anti-left wing thinking in NZ politics.

There are some great people on Twitter Gantt. If my spirits flag I find a quick look at Twitter will revive them. Along with the commenters who come here and or frequent Crusader Rabbit or Terry’s blog, they are fighting the good fight and fight it so well. I suggest you follow these girls if you don’t already-

Funny how much of the fight the women carry. I suspect they are frustrated that men are not speaking out strongly enough.
