Nunes revelations tip of spying iceberg staggering allegations include Obama illegalities

Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch has released a 21st March letter to Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Devin Nunes that is staggering in its allegations against the US govt spy agencies. Apparently this letter spurred Nunes into his statement today admitting the Trump campaign was the victim of illegal espionage by government agencies.

The letter ( link at foot of post)  is based on the testimony of Dennis Montgomery, a former NSA and CIA contractor who left those agencies and took with him 47 hard drives and 600 million pages of information.

Montgomery claimed the agencies were engaged in a massive degree of illegal spying and he attempted under the status of whistleblower, to convey this information to a number of committees, congressmen and senators, but no one wanted to hear what he had to say.

A summary of Montgomery’s claims is-

  • spy agencies were engaged for years in systematic illegal surveillance on prominent Americans, including the chief justice of the Supreme Court, other justices, 156 judges, and prominent businessmen such as Donald Trump.
  • Montgomery testified under oath to FBI Director James Comey regarding these allegations
  • this testimony included charges that persons like then businessman Donald Trump were illegally spied upon by Clapper, Brennan, and the spy agencies of the Obama administration.
  • these spy agencies had manipulated voting in Florida during the 2008 presidential election, where illegal tampering resulted in helping Obama to win the White House.

Two years ago Montgomery  was interviewed (and video taped) under oath in a secure room at the FBI Field Office in the District of Columbia by Special FBI Agents Walter Giardina and William Barnett. Nothing happened after this interview.

Last Thursday Larry Klayman, after some difficulty, managed to meet with Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Devin Nunes. During preliminary discussions relating to this meeting, Klayman told Nune’s representative that if FBI Director Comey was not questioned about Montgomery’s allegations he would go public with them himself.

Klayman says-

My expressed purpose: to have Chairman Nunes of the House Intelligence Committee ask Comey, under oath, why he and his FBI have seemingly not moved forward with the Montgomery investigation while, on the other hand, the FBI Director recently claimed publicly, I believe falsely, that there is “no evidence” of surveillance on President Trump and those around him by the Obama administration. Indeed, there is.

Klayman also claims that the FBI’s investigation of the Montgomery allegations was buried by Comey, perhaps because the FBI itself collaborates with the spy agencies to conduct illegal surveillance. He says-

working side by side with Obama’s former Director of National Intelligence (DIA), James Clapper, and Obama’s former Director of the CIA, John Brennan, Montgomery witnessed “up close and personal” this “Orwellian Big Brother” intrusion on privacy, likely for potential coercion, blackmail or other nefarious purposes.

If these allegations have even the slightest truth, it is bombshell stuff of Nixonian proportions that should see the immediate resignation of Comey followed by numerous prosecutions. Of Comey and his fellow intelligence agency colleagues and co-conspirators. Maybe even ex-president Barack Obama.

The Donald wins again would seem like a massive understatement.
