“Xenophobe, Fascist, Racist,” The Favourite Smears of The Guardians of Cultural Marxism

All over Europe, ordinary people are up on charges for openly expressing ideas that the elite consider “unapproved”. The Austrian anti-jihad activist Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff is currently on trial in Vienna for speaking the truth about Islam. The original charge was “incitement to hatred”. On the second day of her trial, the judge at her own discretion added a second charge, “denigration of religious beliefs of a legally recognized religion.”

Yesterday the English Defence League, a group formed to resist the Islamisation of the UK held a demonstration in Luton UK. Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff gave a speech to the protesters. If you want to read the whole speech, it is here. I have reproduced here what I think is an important part for it deals with the real problem we have in our societies where self appointed “elitists”, aka the guardians of Cultural Marxism, attempt to falsely label those who speak out and thereby break the social conventions these elitists insist we bow down to.

Walking around the street where the protesters gathered, I looked into the faces of these lads, trying to find what the press keep describing as “hatred”. But I was unable to find any. The mood was a somber one, despite the high beer consumption, and the reason for that mood had a simple explanation: native Lutonians no longer recognize their own city. There are Muslim gangs running the streets, harassing women and girls. There is a city council which caters solely to the Muslim groups, giving in to their every demand, the latest one being — no surprise here — a mega-mosque to be built in the very near future. The Lutonians are no longer Lutonians, but strangers in their own city, the place where they were born and grew up.

And, perhaps most dangerous, they are no longer even heard by their elected officials. Instead, members of the EDL are branded as racists for saying they want England to remain English; for complaining about their children being served halal-slaughtered food in their schools; for not wanting shariah law to be established in Luton or anywhere else in England.

These brave men and women do not deserve to be labeled “racists” for defending their home country. In a normal world the otherwise silent majority would be lining the streets applauding them for their bravery, and thanking them for standing up for their hometown. But in today’s warped world, they are called “racists”, “xenophobes”, “fascists”, and many other less polite epithets.

Yes. They are called this by such venerable English institutions as the BBC and the newspaper the Guardian, two groups that above all, given their traditional English foundations, should be standing for the right of the EDL to protest. Instead, in their craven worship of “multiculturalism” they work assiduously to generate a climate of hate towards the EDL.

They are failing. Support continues to grow for the EDL and even the spineless UK Conservatives and their weak and indistinct leader David Cameron are being forced by popular uprising to whistle a different tune. In a speech that many commentators claimed to signal the “death of multi-culturalism” Cameron said-

“Under the doctrine of state multiculturalism, we have encouraged different cultures to live separate lives, apart from each other and the mainstream. We have failed to provide a vision of society to which they feel they want to belong. All Britons should believe in basic values of freedom and equality, and actively promote them. That means ensuring that immigrants learn to speak English and that all schools teach elements of a common culture and curriculum. Racism and intolerance are rightly condemned, but when equally unacceptable views or practices have come from someone who isn’t white, we’ve been too cautious, frankly too fearful, to stand up to them.”

“Fearful to stand up to them?” Of course, because any slight wandering from the straight and approved path of political correctness has lead to a crescendo of deeply entrenched reverse hatred from those who portray themselves as “tolerant liberals”. You only have to read Kiwiblog to know that.

  1. The other day M Barosso,EU head honcho, said freedom of speech ,was a sacred principle of the EU. This was to put the Hungarian PM in his place over controversial press laws there. (ones that the EU don’t like)

Where is the sacredness of free speech when it comes to this lady, Wilders or indeed holocaust deniers?

Free speech for me but not for thee!

    Hypocrites.

  2. First Germany says that multiculturalism is destroying societies and now the Brits are humming that tune. Anyone with half a brain can recognize that the sole purpose of multiculturalism is to destroy the native culture. It is the strongest weapon in the left’s arsenal for dismantling the existing culture in favor of overwriting it. That is one of the main reasons that Western Europe has fallen under the spell of Islam so quickly.

Thank God that there are organizations like the EDL to defend the native culture because the government certainly will not. I have watched the EDL for a while now and while I am not a member of that organization because I am a U.S. citizen, I know them to be honorable men and women who love their country and support their military. They are not racist or Islamophobic. They are merely patriots who value their native roots and wish to honor the values of their parents and grandparents.

The West needs to pull our heads out of the sand and take a long, hard look at the state of affairs in our homelands. The world is darkening and the West will be called on to defend those who cannot defend themselves once more in the not too distant future. I pray that we will be ready to do our duty when the time comes.

  3. People are now getting charged in certain countries for saying it is wrong for one man to have sex with another. How long before it is a crime to say it is wrong for a dirty old man to have sex with a 9 year old girl because if may offend someone who chooses to wear a coloured tea towel around their head?

  4. Also check out Douglas Murray speaking at a seminar re: Islamisation in Europe, where he gives the Left what-for, for always wanting to define the narrative by their terms.

I love it when he says he’s sharing a table with the woman next to him who is a self-confessed Communist, and yet he’s not asking that she be prevented from being part of the discussion.
