One of the main points of difference between a leftist and a Conservative is that the left is carrying out a program of change, working towards an objective that they mistakenly see as Nirvana. They perceive this Nirvana as a leftist ruled divine state where everybody will be happy and prosperous. Its secular heaven. Because the outcome is in their minds so collectively beneficial then there are no moral restraints on what a leftist can do. For example, he might have to kill twenty million non co-operative citizens, but its worth it because once the killing is over, life will be so much better for the one hundred million that remain.
Sound unreal? Don’t forget such a course of action has already been advocated and the practicalities of the plan seriously discussed by Obama’s mentor Bill Ayers and his comrades. Already in European countries sent broke by left wing economic policies we see shadowy leftist groups attempting to provoke vicious rioting. Its a plan.
Now in America, we see prominent leftists advocating similar action. Here is New York Times journalist Paul Krugman in an interview with the University of Oklahoma’s student newspaper-
“Well, you know, maybe we could learn a little bit from British students or French students who actually demonstrated against these cuts. What happens, we’ve got actually in America, the seniors are very noisy. Everybody knows you don’t dare cut programs for the elderly, so let’s cut programs for the youth. If we can change that, then we’d do a little better.”Source.
For another example, Bill Clinton’s former Labor Secretary Robert Reich made this astounding assertion on Cenk Uygur’s MSNBC show yesterday-
[..] it also breeds a kind of anger. I mean, so many middle-class people, lower middle-class people, working-class people, are frustrated. They are anxious, they worry about paying their bills. They see people at the very top getting away with, well, the equivalent of murder: look at what happened on Wall Street. There’s not a single Wall Streeter that’s actually been indicted or brought to justice after that huge implosion on Wall Street. And people get cynical and they get angry.
And then they see, uh, Republicans are very good at channeling that anger toward what? Government, immigrants, public employees. Well, an angry population and an angry populace could just as easily turn their anger toward the very rich. Again, it is in the interest of the people at the top to actually call for a more equitable distribution of the gains of economic growth and a better tax system: a tax system that is fair. Source.
Don’t be mistaken about the left’s final objective. Events in Wisconsin of late are further evidence. For them, democracy is just a station on the line to tyranny. Their end game is violent revolution, destruction of those they perceive as blocking the road to Nirvana, and imposition of a totalitarian leftist state. Its obvious they have learned nothing from history. They will continue to set up their strawman anti-capitalist arguments and stir up anger amongst the populace until the chaos and destruction they seek arrives.

If we could just get rid of the remainders of Capitalism and the US military, then we’ll enter an age of equally distributed wealth, with housing, food, clothing, healthcare, welfare, pensions, education and a fluffy pony for all – no matter who works… We’ll enter a world of sustainable development when we all magically live in the forest till we’re 120, we’ll talk to the oppressed Islamists – who would suddenly love us and support freedom of religion and women’s rights, we’ll hug the Crims and tell them everything will be okay and they’ll never err again and we can turn the prisons into flower gardens…
In socialist utopia they’ll be no need for any rules because, everyone will have such high self esteem from receiving their daily gruel ration – before the ritualistic shagging the paper boy – and then heading off to their job as the local Community Health, Welfare and Self Esteem Co-ordinator, that every one will live in harmony together, never hurt or offend each other paying homage to the almighty, all knowing State…

The question that’s left to us is this–since the left are clearly winning anyway, would it not be better to bring them to battle and resolve this on the streets? At least then the lines would be clearly drawn, their agenda made crystal-clear.
As things are going right now, better to have the convulsion and lose than a slow slide into marxist slavery.
The slow slide will result in a well-entrenched totalitarianism. Civil war- if we lost -would at least result in an unstable system, full of very fucking angry conservatives.
