Obama Approval Rating Plunges

Obama’s approval ratings are plunging. Frankly, it still puzzles the hell out of me why they are as high as they are. Except that those people who rely on the Obama infatuated mainstream media for their news will of course have an entirely different opinion than those who rely on more objective sources.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve.

Overall, 43% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president’s performance. Fifty-seven percent (57%) disapprove.

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of voters believe that the U.S. system of politics and government is morally superior to communism. Only 11% take the opposite view.

Rasmussen Reports.

  1. ……puzzles hell…….
I thought the same thing at the time of the last UK general election . After all the revelations about Labour ,it’s very long run in office, the in fighting etc they still had substantial support. Unbelievable.

  2. I reckon its information sources Kowtow. Anyone who only gets their information from the six o clock TV news or the mainstream newspapers is only going to have a superficial understanding of what is going on and that understanding is always going to be underpinned by the same old same old assumption that “left is good” that those sources always subtly weave into their presentations.

  3. To a large degree I agree about information sources .
I recall the Irish woman who stands in for Jim Mora on RNZ one afternoon asking her guest ,concerning the Great O’s election along the lines “could you not feel the whatever factor”. I wish I had the exact words but the lefty liberal adulation was palpable. And a majority in the media think that way.
So the fashionable, the “dinner party set” as they like to see themselves , feel that they too should think and say the same things that these people say and think. For all their education they can’t think for themselves and must follow the Guardian or NY Times editorial line. Like the trades unions in Soviet days .Same with global warming and multiculturalism.
And as you so rightly point out the schools and universities are stacked with this rubbish too.
Then finally we have the hordes of employees in the state sector and the beneficiaries who know that a left government is most likely to keep the gravy train running. Why would they vote for a smaller state sector?

  4. I was shocked last night to detect some criticism of the ObamaMessia on the BBC news.
European leaders are in favour of a no-fly zone for Libya (I bet KG would like one in Oz 🙂 ) Anyway, the BBC reporter noted the exasperation of the silence from the other European leaders of Obama on the issue.
If the even BBC has finally started to pick up on His faults, things must be bad.

Wonder if he’s still got a job.
