Well, my good friend Crusader Rabbit is in the Perry camp, and I’ve got to say that on the surface, Rick don’t look too bad for a career politician. He sums up the Global Warmists quite perfectly and succinctly-
The Texas governor was appearing at a New Hampshire breakfast event with business leaders Wednesday morning when he said “there are a substantial number of scientists who have manipulated data so that they will have dollars rolling into their projects.”
Perry said scientists are coming forward almost daily to question “the original idea that man-made global warming is what is causing the climate to change.” He said the climate is changing but that it has been changing “ever since the earth was formed.”
Perry added that “the issue of global warming has been politicized,” and argued that America should not spend billions of dollars addressing “a scientific theory that has not been proven, and from my perspective is more and more being put into question.”
For a good rebuttal of the criticisms that are being levelled at Perry, you should read here.
He talks a good game, but in the thing that really matter (money trail and track record) he does not look so good.

The global warming scam has utterly destroyed the credibility of the science sector. Another part of our society wrecked by the left.

The Republicans have a lot better VP contenders than Presidential possibles.
It’s a worry.
Romney is a Mormon, to the Religious Conservatives that’s only one small increment better than a Scientologist.
You can get $2.05 the Republicans vs $1.75 Oby with my bookie.
Worse bookie election odds mistake I ever saw.

Take a look at this effing outrage–MSNBC editing a speech by Perry in order to make him out to be a racist. As I just blogged, this is a declaration of war by the Dems.

OOPS! sorry–that was supposed to be just a link. I won’t be at all offended if it’s taken down.
I plead congenital idiocy.

What’s wrong with his track record, Trestin?

The big thing will be his support of illegal immigration. Also, globalist programs like the NAFTA highway and the North American Union.

Oh dear Trestin and I was beginning to like the sound of Mr Perry.
He is strong on jobs, which would be a great way to defeat the Obamination.
And yes, an AGW sceptic too.
Romney doesn’t do it for me.
But Paul Ryan has potential.
Not to mentioned the Thriller From Wasilla.
I must read up more about Ron Paul.
The Republicans have an embarassment of riches to choose from, whereas the Donks just have an embarassment!
With the way Obama is polling, any Republican will beat him.

Drive, no doubt by his Texas businessmen friends……
I reached the conclusion some time ago that voting for the “least worst” candidate is a waste of time. And the Tea Partiers have shown that even those elected on a platform of lower taxes and less government will mostly roll over when the chips are down.
The only rational conclusion is that the political process is broken, likely beyond repair at the ballot box. Yet we keep voting in the forlorn hope that this time, somehow, it will be different.
It won’t.
It may not be quite as bad, but it will still be business as usual.
Some things have to be broken entirely before they can be fixed.

All of the Republicans have something wrong with them, but with exception of Cain, they are better than BO. I like like Paul and Bachmann.

Can you bear it?

I kinda liked Perry – didn’t know what to think of him in some ways, but according to Pam Gellar’s blog, and reported on Jihadwatch, perry got together with the Aga Khan and others and had this Islamic propaganda put into Texas schools which promotes Islam and whitewashes and of the bad stuff… The school quickly removed the pages off their site that describe the curriculum, but (as with most things internet) it’s still been cached.
More HERE and HERE (that’s enough to get you started and to see what Perry helped do).

Jeez, Fairfacts–you “liked the sound” of that nice Mr. Cameron too, if I recall correctly. That worked out well, didn’t it?
