I was taught vitually nothing of the history of civilization when I was at school, and that was 30yrs ago. I doubt that kids today would learn any more than I did. History is probably racist bullshit about insignificant bush wars in a speck of a country at the bottom of the world and complemented with marxist/green lies about prosperity.
The real history of the only important thing on this planet ie. human civilization is something I had to discover for myself.
It’s sad that virtually no kid in NZ is given an unvarnished education on this great story and its many twists and turns and dead ends and rare brilliance.
If people don’t even know history they cannot learn from it.
