Barack Obama’s Department of Justice painted the entire Ferguson police department as racist because three individuals had passed on these “offensive” emails to each other over the past seven years.
There are 74 employees at the Ferguson Police Department. Two cops and one court clerk sent out “offensive” emails. That is 4% of the police force. And Attorney General Eric Holder says racism is endemic in the department.
Ferguson Court Clerk Mary Ann Twitty was fired over the messages. It appears she started the e-mail chain. Ferguson police Capt. Rick Henke and Sgt. William Mudd resigned, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. They were not given severance packages.
The so called racist/ offensive emails are embedded below. Let me know if you think they’re bad enough to get anyone fired, cop or court clerk, without their severance pay.

Some pretty funny jokes. A written warming would have been appropriate because jokes of any kind should not be exchanged on a work computer by a public servant.
If they were the only jokes the sacking of them without their severance pay was way over the top.

It doesn’t sound racist to me. Sexist if anything then that is pushing it. It mostly sounds like officers letting off rants. Our Justice Department is filled with kooks who don’t know their butts from a hole in the ground.

That’s fine. Zapiro is one of my favourite cartoonists especially as he is repeatedly attacking the useless, self-important ANC politicians. He is also Jewish, so you can imagine this cartoon was not well received in some quarters.
