Not all Muslims are terrorists. Of course, but that is a fact that really does not need to be stated. Its not the issue. The issue is how many of them support terrorism.
Let’s take Germany and the Nazi party for an example. Not all Germans were Nazis, but it didn’t stop Germany starting WWII and their attempted genocide against the Jews.
Before Hitler seized power (in 1933) only 850,000 out of 66 million Germans were card-carrying Nazis. After the Nazi’s seizure of power, there was a big surge in membership. However even at its peak, party membership only ever reached 8 million out of 80 million Germans.
Eight million Nazis, or only 10% of the population, as bizarre as their beliefs were, managed to muster a force that almost conquered Europe completely.
Its not an entirely fair comparison as Germany is a country and Islam is global socio/ political movement. However we should not be distracted from the main question- “how many Muslims would support terrorism and how many would not?”
Here’s what Hollywood liberal Ben Affleck says-
“How about the more than a billion people who are not fanatical, who don’t punish women, who just want to go to school, have some sandwiches, pray five times a day and don’t do any of the things that ‘all Muslims do’? You’re stereotyping. You’re taking a few bad things and you’re painting the whole religion with that same brush,”
If you want to know how many Muslims would fight for Western civilisation and how many would fight for Islam, I suggest you watch this fact laden video by Ben Shapiro, where he takes on Affleck and the myth that only a tiny minority of Muslims worldwide are radical.
