The Green Socialist National Party once had a fine set of founding principles.

“To promote good citizenship and self-reliance; to combat communism and socialism; to maintain freedom of contract; to encourage private enterprise; to safeguard individual rights and the privilege of ownership; to oppose interference by the State in business, and State control of industry”.

Since they’ve been infiltrated by Progressives, socialists, environmentalists and other assorted de-facto communist subversives, they’ve cast those fine principles aside and are doing all they can to interfere in NZ’s markets. Here’s the latest example-

Businesses, local councils and organisations with projects to spark interest in electric vehicles can apply for the second round of the Government’s Low Emission Vehicles Contestable Fund, opened today by Energy and Resources Minister Judith Collins. Up to $3 million is available in this round with another funding round planned to run later this year.

Followed by a teaming downpour of propaganda telling us why we need electric vehicles. Propaganda that is mostly lies, distortions and omissions.

The most glaring lie is that electric vehicles are powered by “renewables“. Batteries need to be constructed and replaced at regular intervals. Where is the renewable source of supply of the minerals and chemicals needed to construct batteries?

Geothermal resources subside over time. Wind and solar power cannot be stored unless with aforesaid batteries. Dams need maintenance.

Leaving aside the problems with low capacity storage in the car batteries themselves. Don’t think of going too far, and then make sure you don’t need the  windscreen wipers, the air conditioning, or to turn on the lights. Then be prepared to wait a few hours to re-charge, if you’re lucky enough to schedule and plan your route so that you can access the minimal amount of charging stations that exist.

All in the cause of the mythical threat of global warming and CO2 emissions that have yet to be incontrovertibly linked to global climate, and would make no difference even if there was a link.

So its lies and propaganda in submission to a cause that is its self built on lies and propaganda. And people keep voting to be hoodwinked, robbed and herded by these lying UN global socialist Agenda 2030 (once Agenda 21) stooges calling themselves the National Party.

Applicants have six weeks to submit their proposals to the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) with the funding round closing on 26 April.

Govt will be swamped with applications from fake private enterprises that are really just cronyist socialist farces. All wanting to be part of this scam on taxpayers. Obama might as well be running New Zealand.

The truth is plain and simple. If electric vehicles were the perceived panacea the National Party says they are, why do they need any govt promotion?

This is just more socialist bullshit and it beggars belief that NZers can vote for the National Party and still think they are supporting a free enterprise govt.
