Klavan is almost always as informative as he is entertaining. However, this time he failed to take it far enough in using biblical terms and images that have become almost comical.
Allow me to suggest how the Consequences are much more dire.
Kris, more awareness of this sort of version eventually may penetrate at least some of their thick skulls. And I think it is our Godly duty to try. As the Carp angrily demonstrated (compelling KG to remove it), the Statists really do fear having their useful idiots see how brutally they will be sacrificed.
