Diversity Targets in Police Dept Force Pass Marks To Be Lowered

I wonder if the NZ police are making any changes to their admission tests in order to accommodate Minister Judith Collins demands for diversification and gender equality? They had to in Dayton Ohio. Diversity requirements were stalled because only white males could pass the usual tests.

The original passing scores determined by Civil Service required candidates to answer 66 percent questions correctly on one portion and 73 on the other. The lowered benchmark requires candidates to answer 58 percent questions correctly and 63 percent of questions on the other. This to me seems like a hopelessly incompetent pass level.

After the pass threshold was lowered 258 more people passed the exam. They’re not saying what the demographics of this group are, but the target was to get more blacks into the force.

Amazes me that the leftist loons behind these kind of things cannot see the irony in seeking to uncover the mythical holy grail of equality by making things unequal.

    What amazes me is that anyone could think that those who lower the standards for public safety hold the public’s safety in high regard.

    What amazes me is that misanthropes have found a way to get more people killed and they do it with the blessing of those being killed. “Oh thank you Massa for getting more of my peeps on the police force despite their lacking talent. At least when my killer comes for me I will not have to be grateful to an officer from another race for having saved my life. Oh thank you massa.”

  2. Yeah, and if you read the full story they plan to do the same in the fire dept. Just outrageous that people keep giving these loons the power to make these decisions. You’re right of course, the outcome is lower standards of safety for the public.

  3. It’s already happened in NZ when they removed the height and weight requirements… Also women get more time for the 2.4 km run and do less press ups and for each decade you age 20 – 29, 30 – 39, etc. you get an extra minute for the run…

    Because the reality of doing the job cares about how old you are or what sex you are…

  4. We also need physical fitness requirements. If you can’t bench your own bodyweight you shouldn’t be in the force.
