The Real Battle- Republican Party Establishment Versus Tea Party

This is my own diagnosis based on various reports coming out of the US. Sites such as Red State, Politico and The Daily Caller have all recently run articles that suggest long serving core Republican Party political operatives are planning a major offensive against Tea Party candidates. This offensive will be long term and cover the period leading up to the Presidential primaries.

Senior Republican strategists have pinpointed the Tea Party as a major impediment to “business as usual”. A phrase that describes the ongoing power sharing by a group of establishment Democrats and Republicans who are virtually indistinguishable but mostly notable for their collective devotion to socialism and their disregard for the American Constitution. Exchanging places in the White House at 8 or 4 year stages, these people have for years done the bidding of the Progressive mainstream media and ignored their constituents.

The failure of the Republican Party to act as an effective opposition to the Democrats eventually caused a grass roots uprising manifested as the Tea Party. Establishment Republicans were surprised by the success of Tea Party candidates in the half term elections. These candidates have already caused anger in the party by their refusal to go along with spending compromises that the establishment Republicans want. This has awakened the Republicans to the fact that the Tea Party means business, and their comfortable arrangement with the Democratic Party that provides socialism with a revolving door to the White House is under serious threat.

Sarah Palin leads the RINO’s hit list, being seen as the Tea party’s most favoured candidate. Other potential candidates in the line of fire are Alan West, Michelle Bachman, Herman Cain and Marco Rubio. I am guessing that the establishment Republicans want Mit Romney of Newt Gingrich to run against Obama. Maybe Chris Christie. In the event that they win, and then win the Presidency, it will be same old same old, with the train still on the line to totalitarian socialism and maybe just traveling a little bit slower.

The Tea Party is almost the last peaceful hope for the free world. They will be fired on by the Democrats and the Republicans, both stricken with fear that things might really change. The Democrats must be defeated, but before that event takes place, the Republican Party upper echelons must be cleansed of the traitors who have betrayed Conservatives and the American Constitution for so many years. They will fight as hard as the Democrats to keep the status quo, for their political life, and most likely use the same disgraceful methods. They will be defeated. For the sake of the free world, they have to be.

  1. You have my permission, should you choose, to borrow my old cartoon found here http://pascalfervor.blogspot.com/2008/09/republicrats.html to demonstrate your phraseology: “business as usual”. A phrase that describes the ongoing power sharing by a group of establishment Democrats and Republicans who are virtually indistinguishable but mostly notable for their collective devotion to socialism and their disregard for the American Constitution.

When I first introduced the concept in the late 90s, and even after 2003 when I commissioned out the drawing of the cartoon, too many Republicans were not yet ready to acknowledge the sell out by their own leadership. If you think the time has come to convey the message, then feel free to use it. The two parties have been jointly incrementally shredding the Constitution for decades.

  4. I see Rush Limbaugh has said something very similar to my own analysis on his radio show today-

“Okay, so what, then, is really happening here? Well, it could be this. This is not my theorem, by the way. It could be this. It could be what I was saying earlier, they really are scared to death, everybody in Washington is, of the Tea Party. And there isn’t a Tea Party leader. There is not a single person you can destroy and take the Tea Party with it. Maybe they’re trying to make her to be the leader of the Tea Party, or me, or their favorite person of the week, because the objective is to take out the Tea Party. “

  5. I think the Tea Party is rolling now and if the “old” Republican guard try to remove all partiers from the ballots it will just split the Republicans into two parties… Generally a bad thing, I’d rather the Tea Party fought for, and won, the soul of the Republican Party…

I hope enough Americans still get what principles made them great and realise that the Tea Party wants to re-introduce them…

  6. The dirty tricks against the Tea Party haven’t really begun yet. Wait for “Tea Partiers” to be found posting racist and extremist comments and for outbreaks of violence at their rallies. The left and their media dogs are going to pull out all the stops in 2012.
