McDonald’s Beating Victim Identified as Christopher (Chrissy) Lee Polis – Cross Dressing Male

Nothing excuses the behaviour of the animals responsible for the McDonald’s beating, however it is necessary to dispel the widely held misconception that the victim was a white girl. The victim has been identified as Christopher Lee Polis and a male of Arab or Indian descent who dressed as a woman. Its debatable that such a person has any real right to enter a women’s toilet. The Smoking Gun reports

The police report identifies the victim as 22-year-old Chrissy Lee Polis, who appears identical to Christopher Lee Polis, whose rap sheet includes convictions for disorderly conduct, property destruction, and prostitution, according to court records. Polis told police that she was walking to the restaurant’s bathroom when she “got into a verbal argument with two black females” who “began punching her in the face with their fists and pulling her hair.”

[Update Video- Chrissy Lee Polis describes attack]

Polis is identified as male in the police report below relating to an earlier offense of assault upon a woman, and again as a male in the second report relating to Disorderly Conduct.

  1. Should a transgendered person be using the bathroom of his/her adopted sex? Interesting question. How shall I know if the man in women’s clothes in the bathroom is transgendered, a transvestite getting off sexually on wearing female clothes and being among women, a voyeur who’s found a way to legally get into women’s bathrooms and watch what he can see, or a rapist who has discovered a legal way to get into women’s bathrooms and wait in hiding for prey?

I can find no legal case involving a male employing a female disguise to gain entry to a female restroom for the purposes of assault or rape. If you can find one, please provide a link to it. If you can’t provide proof this has ever happened then it is safe to say IT’S NEVER HAPPENED and so why bring it up?

  3. Wondering, the answer to your question is a resounding ‘No’. For all of the reasons you mentioned. As a basic rule, regardless of with which gender one chooses to ‘identify’, one should use the convenience appropriate to the equipment one carries. e.g. if one has a spout, one should use the ‘boys’ room irrespective of whether one considers oneself a ‘boy’.

  5. Does your restroom at home have a urinal? I doubt it. It has a toilet.. which is used by everyone regardless of gender. Most public restrooms have stalls with locking doors. The opportunity to be a “voyeur” in a ladies room are incredibly slim. Furthermore, most men who cross dress for sexual pleasure look VERY much like men dressed as women. Chrissy Polis looked enough like a bio female to fool most people who saw the video. Odds are slim that she was trying to use the ladies room to get her jollies. More likely, that since she was dressed in a skirt, she thought she’d be safer using the ladies room.

  6. There is a reason why women’s restrooms are locked and men’s restrooms are not and it has nothing to do with anything other than the demonstrated sexual predating that men engage in. Anyone presenting a female appearance going into a men’s restroom is sheer folly and asking to “be raped” since “he” went in there dressed like a girl. This is so cliched that they make movies from this plot all the time. Furthermore, since she has a valid ID in Maryland attesting to her name she is, in all legal senses, a woman as recognized by the law. ipso facto, she is compelled to use the woman’s restroom rather than the men’s. Additionally, the original police reports indicate there are TWO (2) victims here (a young woman and a middle aged woman) with one name being blacked out and the other being presented but then I am confident that the research here is spot on accurate and not liable to be false, it is the INTERNET after all.

  7. Let’s try another angle as well. Why should a cross-dresser have to be allowed to use the gender-defined bathrooms at all? After all, one could theorize that the next step will be that government regulation is introduced whereby restaurants must provide separate toilet facilities for all possible combinations of “transgender” practicalities. One can imagine the staggering array of restrooms that would ensue. I have observed that disabled toilets are often gender neutral, so perhaps the trans-gender community could use those, although I suspect they would probably consider that discrimination. The mind boggles.

  8. P.S. I do realize that my introductory sentences above, have given away my non-sophistication on these issues, I have really lost track of when one is a cross-dresser or a semi-trans-gender, a full blown converted gender, a man in female’s body or the reverse, whether sexuality is another parameter in this compound, so that you could have a homo-sexual semi-trans-gender cross dresser and so on. In addition, imagine that such a person would be parenting a young child from a current or past relationship, and would assist that child in bathroom operations. Which facility to use? And given that sexual issues are introduced at ever younger ages, what is the impact of the child’s orientation? As I said, heavy stuff for an Easter morning.

Are YOU going to be looking at what’s coming out of me?

I’m in there to do one thing and get it over with. And in the event that I actually use a PUBLIC restroom, I’m really not going to have time to stand around for chit-chat or daydreaming. Move out of my way or there’s going to be an accident.

I’d like to know what can possibly fall under “disorderly conduct”, too. I bet in some cities, being a trans woman could qualify. Since who decides where someone is cross-dressing and where someone is transsexual just living their life. The government issued sex on your ID? Don’t make me laugh. Yet some US cities list cross-dressing on the books, as a crime – a “crime” cissexual women can never be committing it seems.

Wondering: Keep on stretching reality, it might slap back in your face. I totally agree with bernard devilcorn: It never happens. So why bring the specter of “but what if God kills us all because I stepped on a sidewalk crack?” – just as realist.

You might be interested to know that most countries, states and cities have no law about who can use which bathroom. It’s “designed” with certain people in mind – but it’s not law. So you can’t charge a man for “entering the women’s room illegally”. You can charge him for any other crime that’s actually true though. Rape and lewd behavior are still crimes.

I’ll bet you though, that most males who enter the women’s room are boys who are accompanied by a parent, or said parent (if male) accompanying a girl.

Women often use the men’s bathroom because theirs is too crowded, it’s locked, it’s out of order, it’s being cleaned at the moment, or a host of reasons. I sincerely doubt they got charged or arrested for it.

“I’m not leering at them as a ‘man’ but as a lesbian. But how to explain it?”

Leering is leering. I bet they’re not more interested about being leered by lesbian women either. It’s like you think some people welcome being hit in the face more when it’s some people, but not others (and I mean hit with the intention of hurting). I care equally that no one hit me in the face. Your being rich, or tall, or caucasian, or Belgian won’t change a thing to that.

  25. The thing I’m sometimes wondering about is why all those with, let’s say “permutations”, and their hangers-on and advocates, always have to push their differentness in anybody else’s face all the time. The days that such people were chased out of town or burnt at the stake are long gone. Everybody accepts that there are people who are in some way different, whatever the details, and there are very few people that even raise an eyebrow about these things any more, regardless of what one’s own conviction may be.
Yet this is not enough for the homosexual, trans gender, wickan, vegan, or whatever other deviation out there. (Note: deviation is used here in its strict statistical meaning)
For some reason these people wish to flout their habits and lifestyles, and they wish to do that by strongly drawing attention at times and in circumstances where that is most in the public eye. It sometimes seems that the tactic is to be as provocative as possible until an unavoidable response occurs, after which they yell fire and murder. Everyone pointing out what I just mentioned is then immediately painted as a bigot, by framing the issue in terms of “so you say that it is normal to be attacked, you must also support the idea that women who wear mini skirts must be raped, because they ask for it”, or some such wild example.

What may be observed is the typical debating style of the left, take whatever the topic is out of its context and apply some simple categorizations and a solid dose of hysterical emotions. Don’t dare talk about facts and figures, it’s always about the so called “moral high ground”. The dumber the debating leftist the quicker the argument turns to swearing and references to Adolf.

In this case we have a person who has been beaten up. That should not happen without proper cause (e.g. self defence), and hence the perpetrators must be prosecuted. Nobody here has suggested anything else.

Then we have the yellow staff at the McD’s who act as spectators if anything. They are entitled to act in that way, regardless what we think about it. The same goes for the old lady, who clearly came to the aid of someone being attacked. This falls under self-defence, and the staff could have acted similarly. Same for the other spectators who were happy in recording the incident.

Then we got the victim, who, from the video asked to use the restrooms, and was apparently told she had to consume something as well(?). There is no information that she was refused access to said convenience. However, on a side note, one could argue that McD’s has an implicit agreement with its customers to use the appropriate facilities. Did she/he inform the staff of her situation? Would that be expected or necessary? Are there any rules or laws around such issues? Now we come to the point above, how was the victim behaving, at what point in time did the situation involve into the fight we see. Did the parties know one another? Did they meet in the restroom, where the victim’s behavior resulted in the altercation? What was said and done?

Again, I do not support the beating up of people that are in some way different, but I am also seriously short of information here. Let’s face it, if I want a good time on Saturday night, I don’t seek it in a gay bar, while others may think that’s the best place for it. Can’t we just accept that and behave accordingly? I for one am sick of always having these gender and identity issues placed front and center instead of the merits of whatever situation.

  26. Schala: One isn’t assigned a sex by their doctor, they are usually clear indicators. In this case the individual was born with a penis. The doctor didn’t assign a sex to the baby, he observed it’s physical traits and recorded them. Let your guard down a bit, … Your gender confusion (i.e. wrong mind/body combo) is certainly not the doctor’s fault.

They have no such implicit agreement. People assume things. Is all.

She had no reason to “inform the staff” of her situation. She was going in to pee/take a shit. Not pass in another country.

This would not have been expected or necessary, similar to people who are Jewish, Muslim or atheists not needing to tell you their belief system before going to pee, vote, or work.

There are no laws about who can use what facilities. There are anti-discrimination rules in some places, which would make businesses who discriminate for whatever reason be illegal. Like if a business reserved a bathroom for gay guys only, and forbid them access to others – that would obviously be discrimination.

“For some reason these people wish to flout their habits and lifestyles, and they wish to do that by strongly drawing attention at times and in circumstances where that is most in the public eye. ”

Yeah, something like going for a Big Mac and needing to pee…That’s Mardi Gras behavior alright.

“Schala: One isn’t assigned a sex by their doctor, they are usually clear indicators. ”

The doctor puts it on your birth certificate, and it’s a pretty big deal to change it later *legally*. Even in countries with legal same sex marriage everywhere in the country (like here, in Canada), it’s still a damn big deal to change it. The doctor makes it a pretty big deal. The government does the same. And usually, parents raise children differently based on whatever’s the fad of the moment for that sex’s infants.

I’m pretty sure you might look at genitals in porn, but that you otherwise identify people based on something else than what’s between their legs, or their chromosomes (two things that you generally can’t see walking in the street, or working with someone).

Apparently, being assigned a sex seems to be a pretty big deal to you too, since you say I suffer from “gender confusion”. If you didn’t care, it wouldn’t even matter at all to you. Like the life of Jerry Lewis does to me.

By the way, by default the mind can’t be wrong, or changed. We call attempts at doing so, brainwashing (it usually works temporarily shot term – survival instinct and all – , but almost always cause high trauma to brainwash). They also already tried lobotomies to “fix” that. Killed many, made some insane. What do you know, none “cured”. They tried electroshocks, talk therapy, ex-gay type therapy (seems to rely on God-will-hate-you brainwashing, may temporarily work in very-religious small-towns, because otherwise you alienate 90% of the townspeople – long term success doesn’t exist).

Then they tried hormones and surgery, and gotten pretty extreme success rates. Not everyone needs surgery, but pretty much everyone of us needs hormones.

Hormones are your lifeblood. If it makes you feel sick, it might just be the “wrong brand”. Testosterone did make me feel that way. No libido either. You can’t have “no brand”, unless you want very brittle broken bones (hormones prevent osteoporosis).

If it was up to you, you’d force me to stay with testosterone until I accepted it as my savior or what?

I’m lucky, I don’t have receding or balding hair at all, and my hair’s always been somewhat long, so I don’t need a wig to have good-looking long hair. Unlike the victim there. Though it might have been chemotherapy for all I know.

  29. @ Schala – you should go and get some professional help if you haven’t got it already. Society is much more accepting then you make it out to be. No, you will never be considered “normal” because you aren’t. “Normal” is a purely technical term, without any emotional or moral connotations. It’s a statistical expression that recognizes that all phenomena that may be observed in nature occur within a range of measurable observations. All individual observations that are relatively close to the mean (or median, but let’s not get too complicated here) value are considered the norm, or “normal”. The larger the variance (the deviation of an individual observation from the mean), the more “abnormal” that observation. The vast majority of people are born with gender appropriate utensils and their are strong connections between the operation of those utensils and sex-oriented behaviors and/or characteristics. That’s not strange, as it applies to any function of our bodies. Obviously there is a problem when there is some nature/nurture disconnect between physical appearance and emotional/behavioral antecedents. That problem is first individual, but certainly also social, as the individual involved will not fit within social norms/standards that have evolved with the “average” (i.e. the “normal”) person in mind.
Now society can put its head in the sand and pretend nothing out of the ordinary is happening. That’s impossible, because there is no such thing as society, it’s a collection of individuals and their response to any situation will also broadly vary, in other words, while society generally may be accepting of the (in this case sexual) deviation, there will be outliers (i.e. people with behavior strongly departing from the norm), who will react extremely. Now there is a third behavioral distribution range at work, and which I was pointing out, and that is the way by which deviant characters go about with their deviancy. They can control it and attempt to act within societal boundaries in order to “not rock the boat” or in order to remain very private with their non-normality. They may also go to lengths to suppress the behavior that would normally arise and comply strictly with moral or legal codes. They can also act out their ab-normality, and seek to use it as an explicit expression of themselves, they may seek to place it front and center of their behavior and self expression, they may come to uniquely identify themselves with it. Again, a range of possibilities with a central norm and varying observations around that mean.
In the McDonald example we can observe what happens when individuals meet whose characteristics are outside the norms on the parameters mentioned above. A situation arises that wouldn’t have occurred otherwise, that wouldn’t even have given rise to the remotest interest. There you have it, there’s nothing mysterious about it, and in order to prevent such occurrences we could initiate all sorts of pogroms to attempt to bring any or all of the players closer to the relevant “norms”. But is that really what we want, that some people are going to decide what the norms are or should be? Of course not, we must simply accept that there always is a probability that individuals with non-normal characteristics meet in circumstances that give rise to these events. What we must have is rules that deal with the consequences, not rules to seek to prevent such things happening.

While my mind simply boggles with the idea of (for instance) a guy finding out he wants to be a woman, and to subsequently find (I assume after ‘conversion’), that he/she is in fact lesbian of the “butch” kind, I suppose that’s life. As long as it isn’t my tax money involved, I can’t get excited about it.
My personal philosophy is that every man must live life in his own manner and, as long as it’s not hurting another person, he should be free to do whatever damn well pleases him. Now in a society that requires a bit of give and take, but we surely should be able to cope with that without starting to bash one another around the ears. I’m all for free speech, for very, very limited government, for the right to self defence when attacked, and for the unmitigated right to harm others when they physically harm you. 42. Normal is overrated.

“I want to be like the most averaged person alive” is not ambition, it’s statistical ignorance and stupidity.

You don’t usually aspire to be extreme in everything, but certain things are good to be extreme in. That’s when we get geniuses, or Olympic level athletes, or Martin Luther King-level people. The normal people? They don’t change a thing.

The “But I just want to be normal!” thing is mainly because people are marginalized for the slightest thing – including “being too intellectual” (and we’re not talking Know-It-All or Whiz Kid – just knowledgeable, and using their brain before acting, judging consequences before taking risks for no reason). So being exceptionally good (like a superhero) is seen as bad, because “its not normal” the same way being the kid with glasses, braces and who is clearly overweight, is seen as bad.

So yeah, screw normal. No one is. We ALL have fucked up stuff we do or think about, or get off on, or would like to do. It doesn’t necessarily involve bad things, but it’s not “normal” in the sense of average.

  43. Well you did not do such a thorough job of researching this. The victim actually had a sec change and therefore is transgendered and has family parts. It is deplorable that you would even bring this up as some excuse and then to do a half ass job of it is just embarassing.

For the sake of our survival as the human race I hope I’m not the only one who felt this way. Some will try to justify this terrible thing by saying Christopher is a freak, some may thing he got what he deserved etc. because his life style personally sickens them. That may very well be and you have a right to feel that way but what if the shoe was on the other foot? What if the sight of a hetrosexual couple with their hetrosexual kids made an onlooker sick to the point he or she beat you and your wife/husband to a bloody stump? Would you think it was justified then? I’m just saying, God gave us all free will to make our own choices, I don’t think He ever said we were all going to agree with those choices. Love you all..

  46. I’m disturbed that a website that proposes to be one that shares the truth would have the audacity to even post this information about a victim. Redbaiter, should I research YOUR background and everything you have EVER done whether you’ve been arrested for it or not and post those facts on this page JUST because you decided to post this article? God forbid anyone ever assaults you while being video taped and your identity, and the actual assault, gets broadcast throughout the world. Shall we further assault you by sharing the gritty details of the rest of your life?

Ms. Polis is a victim. She hasn’t claimed to be anything else. You outing her criminal history is deplorable. And to bring up such a trite subject about who should be using which bathroom to disguise your true intentions is, at the very least, BULLYING to the highest extent!!!! If you really wanted to discuss the issue of Gender Allocated Restrooms in America, you could have done so without further assault to Ms. Polis. What the heck do her past arrests have to do with that subject? You have insinuated that it is your belief that because she has a troubled past and/or present she deserved this assault. You really have insinuated that. Denying that you haven’t doesn’t mean you haven’t.

Writers that do what you’ve done, here, do not spread truths that lead to any healing of our troubled society. You’ve helped spread the dis-ease. Take some time to think about your intentions…perhaps they are unconscious…bring them into your consciousness and heal your personal prejudice. To me, it appears as though you have a dislike for transgender people…as well as those young people who may turn to an unlawful means of supporting themselves financially because they have no support otherwise. Young people (and Ms. Polis is young) who struggle in our society need some love, support, and emotional nourishment. The same can be said for those who attacked her. Get yourself together and take your talents for writing to a higher level…stop perpetuating the assault on this victim.

  47. Dew – here’s something for you To contemplate, do you think it is possible to ever truly debate an issue, which is raised by a clearly shocking incident, without contemplating as much context as is possible? The main restriction I can see is that of privacy, and this is one that has moved to the background in this case for two reasons: first, we as a society have chosen for a criminal justice system that takes self defense and retaliation out of the hands of individuals and out of the civil justice concept, and makes it a societal matter, with the state acting on behalf of the moral conscience of the collective. That alone takes this out of the realm of privacy and into that of public debate. You may disagree with that (and so do I), but it remains a given. Secondly the victim herself has chosen to go public with the matter. At that point any further context is relevant and fair game, doing otherwise would amount to nothing better than an u informed witch hunt. It is utterly defendable that minorities have the same rights and protections, but the other side of the coin is that the same scrutiny applies, and that also involves contextual disclosure.

  50. @Bez what is your reaction to Mike’s comment?
I don’t think the LGBT movement is any more in your face than any movement, do you have examples? You live in a bubble to think that not raising an eyebrow means people are not discriminating. It is clear that you think Transgender is something to be rectified, so perhaps maybe because it is an issue that you have a rigid opinion on, you might just notice it more. Its like when my friend got a Mazda 3, I started seeing them everywhere and really frequently, but the actual number of cars was the same. I just had a different eye for it.
The way I see it the brain is capable of amazing things. I say go watch any documentary on the brain’s capacity for variation. Then think, why is it impossible for brain wired for one gender be generated in a body made for the other? Or how about look at sequences of developing embryos, one male and one female, and see how very similar we are.
I agree that at no point did anyone say the criminal record being justification for the attack. However, I do call into question posting criminal records as the best means to identify the individuals original name. Really this post is biased and possibly anti-Trans-sexual, while you do not say it justifies the attack you none the less bringing up as point that does not need to be brought up unless you are advocating that this be deemed a hate crime. With your stance on schala needing help, I doubt thats why you feel it is important to bring up the fact that in this case the victim is trans-sexual.

Where trans-sexuals go to the bathroom depends mostly on if they are really passable as the other sex. I don’t care if a really effeminate man/woman comes in, as long as he/she feels confident in their choice of bathroom(with explicit intent to use the bathroom to its described purpose). With women’s bathrooms having stalls I see no problem.

If you think it is an appalling act just say that and leave it at that. Whatever the situation this sort of repeated attack is not merited or civil, which is something I think we all agree on.

  52. Ushio – you raise a number of points, let’s start with the last. I don’t believe the blog owner has a problem at all with people posting that apparently have different world views. He simply reserves the right to remove what he doesn’t like, so I don’t think there’s any violation there.
As to mike’s comment, I wasn’t going to comment on that because he doesn’t present any argument whatsoever. I could cal him names as well and then it’d be just another pointless shouting match.
In respect of your own points I note mainly that you adopt precisely the argumentative style I am describing. You fail to read what I actually state, or you just jump to conclusions, following which you aim your attack at the straw man you thus create.
I haven’t said that I feel that transgender must be rectified, whatever that means. I did make the point that the lbgt interest groups are advocating aggressively, and one needs only to turn on the television or look at primary school curriculum or case law in the family court, or the composition of political parties, or political events to witness that. Sheepishly asking for examples of that is just dumb. I don’t see why ” not raising an eyebrow” is different from not discriminating, and I think that this is the aspect where you must consider your own bias, rather than mine. Forced “normalcy” and the creation of all forms of affirmative action are actually the absolute opposite of non-
discrimination. I think I comprehensively set out my own thoughts on deviancy and how that was relevant in this case. You may disagree of course.
As for Schala, he/she was clearly rambling a bit and appeared to have some very serious issues, hence the suggestion about professional help, that’s all.

Hmm. spewing foul language and saying people are despicable because they have a different opinion sounds…bigoted..I didn’t see one post that advocated Polis being beaten. They are just stating the facts. Prior convictions are relevant because it can show a behavioral pattern where maybe this was just a fight between thugs and not a hate crime based on gender.

“She has EVERY RIGHT to use the woman’s rest room.. She is a WOMAN, albeit MAYBE with incorrect plumbing, however, the demeaning and derogatory way you refer to her as a cross dressing male is disgusting and based on bigotry and transphobia.”

If he has everyright to use the women’s restroom then why can’t I as a male use the women’s restroom? He is not a woman. No amount of hormones, surgery and wishful thinking will change that. They do have men who are cross dress and would probably take offense that you are insulting them..

    Lita Kelley ranted

“Her GENDER IDENTITY IS FEMALE, not MALE… A cross dresser is NOT the same as a transgendered WOMAN and your title is nothing but an attempt to discredit the victim and blame her, because your own point of view is one of a transphobic, homophobic, BIGOT.”

It doesn’t matter what he thinks he is and what he wants to be. He is a male..as for homophobic and transphobic..just strawmen to hide the obvious..He is a male..nuff said.

    Lita Kelley ranted

“NO HUMAN BEING WHATSOEVER deserves to be treated in such a violent manner for BEING WHO THEY ARE…. NOBODY… Black, white, purple, gay, transgender, NOBODY…”

You are correct. So why aren’t you ranting about Polis assaults, disorderly conduct and property destruction? Oh it doesn’t matter because transgender get a free pass?

    Lita Kelley ranted

“I redact my statement about being “un-american / anti-american”, lol.. You’re from New Zealand.”

Granted I don’t know what does not believing a man is a woman has to do with being American. You can believe what you want, but don’t expect others to drink the kool-aid.

    1) You probably don’t *want* to use the women’s room, irrespective of the possibility. Women do use the men’s room sometimes, because of crowdedness. They don’t need a license, or a permission to do so. The one few exceptions might be if the men’s room is out of service or accompanying a little girl. That’s because in most cases, the men’s room is less crowded than the women’s – so no incentive to use the other.

    2) It’s she, not he.

    3) She is a woman, legally female, has had surgery. So sue your country because you disagree with it’s laws.

You seem to think that it’s wishful thinking, and I’d quote someone:

“In their eyes, transpeople are confused and they need to accept their biological, “natural” identity. So if a transwoman and a ciswoman are married, the problem for them would be that the transwoman is denying her “real” gender and needs to realize that she is a man. ”

Yet, you announce no proof of neurobiology, while I can easily find many that says trans women are biologically female unchangeably, since birth. It’s just not visible by doctors or parents at birth – being a non-plastic (stays the same once set) part of the brain.

Because I say so is no proof, especially considering you have real studies standing against you, that you conveniently ignore.
