Al Gore spoke at a one of those loony ecological festival things on Friday and his speech focused on the need to address what he called the “climate crisis” and how he wants to punish the people he calls “deniers”. Polliticians should pay a price for rejecting ‘accepted science,’ says Gore. (edit- Maybe for a start we could make then wear yellow stars.)

“We have this denial industry cranked up constantly,” Gore said. “In addition to 99 percent of the scientists and all the professional scientific organizations, now Mother Nature is weighing in.”

He led a presentation on major weather events that he said could be attributed to human activity. He linked troubles in the Middle East at least partially to climate change, saying that drought drove more than a million Syrian refugees into cities already crowded with refugees from the Iraq war.

Although he didn’t mention them by name, accompanying literature distributed at the event identified Republican Senators Ted Cruz and Jim Inhofe as a couple of the suggested targets for this unspecified “punishment”.  Of course, if these two guys had anything like the record of the rank hypocrite Al Gore, maybe there would be a reason to punish them. In fact they’ve got unblemished records of telling the truth and behaving impeccably.

Unlike Al Gore who in 2007 predicted that the North Pole would be “ice-free” by around 2013. In fact the ice cover has increased by 50%

Also, a British court determined that Al Gore’s movie “An Inconvenient Truth” contained at least eleven material falsehoods.

Neither Ted Cruz or Jim Inhofe have ever been charged with sexual assault either. Gore had to fight off claims from at least three masseuses who say that Gore groped them and asked them to perform oral and manual sexual acts upon him.

That Gore can stand in front of the public and call for the “punishment” of Cruz and Inhofe is testament to how utterly bizarre the world of the Global Warming alarmist actually is. Yet another example that suggests that if we let them, the leftists/ progressives will take us completely through the looking glass.
