The Socialist Elite

Helen Klark never really had a productive job in her life. Nevertheless, I read somewhere that before making it into Parliament, as a fervid young socialist, she had managed a trip from NZ to Europe for almost every year of her life. All funded by someone else’s money.
Whilst serving as PM, it was made public that she owned something like 5 or 6 houses , and on finally being dismissed, she resigned from parliament with a huge perks package and superannuation, and then went on to a spot with the United Nations with probably an even greater salary and greater perks package and greater superannuation, and still all funded by other people’s money.
Leaving aside the fact that Klark was alleged to have bought her position with the UN by donating millions of (taxpayer) dollars more than any other NZ PM to that despicable corrupt, criminal and dysfunctional organisation.
Barack Obama has become extremely wealthy by means that have never been explained. Al Gore these days, is rolling in it.
“I am a socialist, because it stands for equality” said Tony Blair in his maiden speech to parliament. Blair became rich beyond his wildest dreams during his political career and after, with his worth today estimated at around sixty million British pounds. All underpinned by tax minimization schemes dreamed up by high ticket accountancy firms of course. Read more »
Are Electric Car Buyers Brain Damaged?
Electric cars are presently the flavour of the week among the chattering elite. Barack Obama loves them so much he’s spending other people’s money on them like there is no tomorrow. Latest figures demonstrate that each Chevy Volt off the assembly line has been subsidised by $250,000 of taxpayer’s money.
7000 have been produced, and the bulk of these have been bought by government agencies.
Now they’ve all been recalled to the factory because they have a disturbing tendency to catch fire. If anyone buys a Chevy Volt, they’re not only ready to overlook a serious safety problem, they’re also prepared to let other people pay the price for their folly. Read more »

American motorcyclists fight back against police checkpoints-
Stilwell, joined by about 10 of his friends wearing black leather jackets, some with firearms resting in holsters on their hips, stood along the sidewalk waving signs that read “Police Checkpoint Ahead.”
But up ahead wasn’t a typical DUI checkpoint; the officers on Flamingo Road were pulling over drivers on cellphones.
What a stark difference to the submissive mentality that prevails in NZ.
Checkpoint draws protesters opposed to the method, but not the message
Newt Gingrich Criticises Liberal Bigotry Against Christians
The latest debate among candidates seeking the Republican nomination was held in New Hampshire today, and the “moderators” were the notoriously far left media personalities Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos of ABC.
Of course these repellent frauds grilled the Republicans about the past and present with a degree of intensity that would be 100 times greater than what they have ever applied to their hero Barack Obama.
I have to keep saying this- Why do the Republicans put themselves up for interrogation by these left wing jerks posing as journalists and reporters? Sawyer and her little friend are not objective participants, they are Democrat Party agents, and they deserve nothing but contempt and derision. The Republicans should just flat refuse to go on air with these odious fakes. Read more »
Update on Disputed Iowa Vote Count
A blog run by the Des Moines Register (Iowa’s biggest newspaper) is reporting that Appanoose County GOP chairman Lyle Brinegar has confirmed that the vote for Romney was overstated by 20 in the Moulton Precinct where Edward True worked as a vote counter. (see post below)
Moulton resident Edward True has signed an affidavit saying that he helped count the vote at the Garrett Memorial Library in Moulton and that the precinct had two votes for Romney, not 22, as reported online by the state GOP.
Brinegar says True is correct. “I’m not disputing what Ed True said,” Brinegar said.
Unless this discrepancy is recovered through similar counting errors in some other precinct, it means that Romney’s total is reduced by 20 and Santorum wins Iowa. However-
Matt Strawn, chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa, continued to express confidence Friday that the order of finish will not change. He said the party would make no further comment until its two-week vote certification process is complete.
Funny that. How does Mr Matt Strawn know this very important outcome without all the facts being made public? I guess a bit of openness would be too much to hope for.

To Zen Tiger, and On Engaging With Rabid Secular Progressives
Grateful for your brave and persistent attempts to get me to understand Zen.
I do understand actually, and I realise its a judgement call that we all have to make.
MY POV on such commenters is that they bring nothing to the debate. Nothing new. Nothing fresh. Nothing challenging. Nothing intelligent. They’re just ignorant thugs whose shared characteristic is a deep immersion in moral relativism and an extremely simplistic and facile understanding of the historical and cultural underpinnings of our society. They have no real in depth understanding of what makes western civilization better than most.
Or should I say what made it better than most, for under the influence of the Progressives, we’re fast losing that advantage. Savagery and barbarism are on the rise in the west everywhere you look. Read more »
